I love this place and I'm not even a 'beauty treatment' kind of person. My office is no longer nearby but I still pop round from time to time. I have felt very safe here making the odd visit during the pandemic, it's an oasis of calm and quiet and ( in case of doubt) nobody breathes anywhere near your face :)

Can I give 10 stars? Mary and her therapists are absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful and welcoming. I booked a pedicure and a wax, the service was top notch and the staff took great care of me from the moment I entered to the moment I walked out with a big smile under my mask (and with the flip flops they provided me with, as I hadn't thought about it!). I felt pampered every step of the way. I particularly appreciated the safety measures they had in place - they gave me pace of mind and helped me relax. Mary's warmth did the rest. Very highly recommended, looking forward to my next appointment!

I called the night before and got an appointment straight away for the following day. I was given clear instructions on how to get to the Salon from my office and informed of who my therapist would be. I was emailed across my confirmation along with their covid guidelines so I knew what to expect when I arrived. I booked in a dermalogica facial and consultation to discuss my skincare routine. Tina was ready at the door waiting to welcome me into the salon. The place was big and spacious with lots of rooms where they offer a variety of treatments. After working in the City for 14 years, I wish I had found this gem sooner. I discussed my previous issues with acne, Tina is a great therapist, put my mind at rest and explained the most important things I needed to change in my skin care routine and types of products I should be using on a daily and weekly basis to help improve my neglected skin. My facial was out of this world, so peaceful and relaxing, the facial massage nearly sent me off to sleep, all the products were tailored to my skin. I left there feeling refreshed and my skin felt like I was 10 years younger! Thank you - you have a wonderful employee, Tina is a true asset to the salon.

I was staying at a nearby hotel and there was no availability at their spa. I found Beauty Essence by chance as it's in a cute tucked away lane in the heart of the city. They were able to fit me in for a massage. The treatment was so relaxing. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. And it was half the price of the hotel spa massage! I have been to beauty essence three times and just love it! Each time I have had a Guinot Hydradermie treatment, I have had Kaye, Gurpeet and most recently Tina and the facial was so relaxing I fell asleep during the extractions! It was pure bliss and just the treat I needed after lockdown and having a baby. I felt really nurtured and pampered during the treatment each time and my skin looks glowing and calm. I have been ordering Environ products from Beauty Essence for the past few years. Since lockdown, I've had the products delivered to my home, and they always come well packaged and with extra samples and goodies. My most recent package was wrapped in tissue paper sprayed with a lavender scent and included complimentary goodies like himalayan bath salts, a Pukka tea bag, a wellbeing affirmation card and Environ samples. Mary (the owner) makes a consistent effort to go over and above to pack love and care into her packages and show her customers how valued they are. I would highly recommend Beauty Essence for any skincare you need to buy and next time I'm in the area I'll also be booking in for an appointment. Thank you so much Mary and well done!

I live within easy walking distance of the salon, so I have been using it for about 5 years now. I cannot praise Mary and her team highly enough. Not only are they extremely professional and very skilled in the wide range of services they offer, but they are such warm, welcoming people, and create such a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere that I often find myself close to falling asleep during treatments. I usually have a facial, some waxing, a brow tint or manicures or pedicures, and am always delighted with the results. I am not a particularly high-maintenance woman, and I have found salons a little intimidating in the past, but I genuinely look forward to my appointments here, and I always come away feeling wonderful. Before Covid and I was able to travel I would always wait until I got to the UK to get my nails done. I'm from Australia and we regularly visited the UK and I just couldn't go past Beauty Essence. Not only do they do a professional nail manicure, that lasts well beyond the two weeks, they also do the best facials as well. Its also the little things that make the experience to die for. The heated massage table - oh did I mention they also do a mean massage? No? Yeah they do. Mary and her team always make you feel welcome. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed. I am a non practicing esthetician from LA, so I understand the basics of skin care, and wow, Liz really opened my eyes to the different modalities available that can make a huge difference in your skin! She used galvanic on me (not too common in the states) and wow, I could FEEL it working. I brought home some Environ products, including the super soft low foam cleanser, the moisturizer, and the spf 15. Really loved my experience And I wish I lived locally so I could do this as part of my maintenance! So impressed!! I can see why Beauty Essence has such high ratings!
