I had a haircut a couple of months ago at Flanx. It has taken me a little while to get around to writing the review, but the plus side is that I can now include the compliments I've received from others in my review. :) Everything about the haircut is/was great - everyone at the salon was super lovely and the experience itself was therefore great. The haircut is amazing - it was exactly what I wanted! I've tried a few hairdressers in the area but hadn't really had a great experience at any of them, so I am super happy that a friend recommended Flanx to me. And I've received so many compliments on the haircut - even when I do nothing with it! My hair is very thick and normally hard to manage, but so much easier now. Looking forward to booking another haircut soon. :)

Flanx Essex Rd are amazing! I came into the salon in desperate need of fixing a disaster dye job which did not suit me (from a different salon). They took time to consider the options, and recoloured it with so much care, skill & attention. All the staff are wonderful & I love my new colour so much! I moved to London at the start of Jan and had been looking for a place to get my hair redone (insane regrowth and generally my hair looked a mess). I found Flanx as I walked past one day and arrived for a consultation. Lanza was absolutely amazing and put me right at ease straight away, knowing exactly what I wanted and was very informative when explaining what she was going to do. At my appointment the salon was welcoming, clean and I loved the biscuits I got with my drink. Lanza was amazing and so were the rest of the girls in the salon. I felt as if I’d been there years instead of my first time! Lanza spent around 6 hours on my hair and whilst I was quite nervous going to a new hairdresser I couldn’t be more amazed and happy with my new hair! Seriously, look at the before and after! I’ll definitely be back at Flanx and highly recommend to anyone looking for an experienced, friendly and clean salon.

I have been getting blonde highlights for over 15 years and I have never had a better result than when Lauren at Flanx did my hair a few months ago. The brassy tones that usually start to develop after a month or so after I get my hair done don't exist and the level of time and detail that Lauren took was unbelievable. Loved the fact that they’re so detailed of explaining through every process with you before anything. One of the staff cannot exactly remember her name I think it was noela (red hair), she did magic on my hair, the transformation was incredible, my hair feels and looks sOOOoooo much better. Oh. My. Goodness. THIS PLACE!!! It took a year of living in London to find a salon that I could trust and love…. well I have finally found it!!! Flanx is it, I promise you. The detail, care and love that I felt was amazing. Lavdie was phenomenal. She is so kind and an amazing artist for real. She took my hair from choppy brown to gorgeous ashy blonde. Lanza, the owner, is ASTONISHING. She is vibrant, brilliant and fun. She helped with the color as well. I read so many reviews on so many salons and happened upon this place and it was a 10/10! I could not recommend this place enough, I used to live in London and moved to Hertfordshire last year and couldn’t find a better hairdresser so still coming back here. What a lovely, friendly hairdressers! I spent a while browsing various hairdressers on the net, when I came across Flanx. I read the reviews and took a chance and went. I'm glad I did! She has done my eyebrows a couple of times, and she has the softest touch which never hurts and comes out with a nice shape each time. I have also had highlights done at flanx by Vicky. I consulted Lanza and Vicky re highlights - both understood what I wanted and Vicky did an amazing job and delivered exactly that. I got highlights for the first time in my life and have to say felt safe in their hands. All in all, flanx has super high quality hair professionals, who very much want to deliver what the client wants. I’m very happy to have found this and I’m going to be a regular now!

Great salon and impeccable service. After getting an appointment within 20minutes on a busy Saturday I stumbled in with my daughter soaking wet and was offered tea straight away. I am so glad I found Flanx! Especially Lanza. She is absolutely amazing! I only get my hair coloured from her coz she is the best at what she does. You don't have to explain her anything. I have been twice in a difficult situation before discovering this little pearl called Flanx.First time in August I needed an emergency haircut and the Hairdresser director, was absolutely fantastic he made me happy with an elegant haircut.Then yesterday after coloring - damaging my hair with an impossible red colour, i called Lanza the owner of Flanx, she was immediately helpful, and magically she saved me from an impossible colour to a refined elegant brunette! I will give her and her staff 5 stars plus, for competence, professionalism, kindness and super affordable price! Most important point, is that they do not cheat on the price, so at the end you will not be surprised with an inflated bill.All the arrogant super expensive hairdressers in London should learn from this wonderful Lady and her team, how to perform at highest level, without being arrogant or super charging for their customers.I will always come back to Flanx, and I will strongly recommend their services. Vicky really new her stuff and helped me talk through options to fix my hair within my budget without judging me for having a budget like other london places i have been.
