Was at my last salon for over 5 years before switching to Ikkar hair. The team are genuine, generous and super friendly. I've paid over £100 for a simple men's cut at various salons in London and Asia, and can say they are excellent at their craft. Can not recommend enough. A wonderful independent, family business.

Bleached my hair for the first time and I'm glad I went to this salon. KD and the other lady (forgot to ask her name) made this visit my best salon experience so far. Both of them are so skilled, friendly and patient in answering all my questions. Definitely a wonderful place to get the trendiest hairstyle you need. ♥️

My new go-to asian hair salon in London. I’ve had my hair cut by both Summer and KD, who are both very skilled and friendly. I’ve also done multiple down perms here to treat my stubborn sides, a service that isn’t easy to find in London. My brother has also gotten his haircut from Jihee before who was also lovely. The salon has a great vibe and they have good COVID-19 measures so you don’t have to worry.

The best haircut I have ever had! Not exaggerating. I am quite picky and I do days of research before going to a hairdresser. Traveled to try this salon and I am so impressed. All the staff are so genuinely lovely and attentive and their attention to detail is amazing! I wanted a feminine, south korean type hairstyle I'd seen, so after looking online, I booked in. Upon coming in, I was happy to see there were covid measures in place and they offered me a locker to place my stuff. I was seen right away. I then proceeded to have the best hair wash with massage and hot towel! I then had a big chop with KD and he took his time to make sure everything was perfect. Such talented people, honestly would recommend 100%, you will not be disappointed!

Everything from start to finish was great. Summer fixed my hair after I had a horrible haircut. She knew exactly what I wanted and was very gentle (other hairstylists tend to burn my scalp with putting the hairdryer too close and tug on the hairbrush so hard I feel i’m about to go bald). Ikkar is the only salon I’ve been to that uses a Dyson hairdryer. I also love how the salon has lockers for you to put your things. Considering the location, their services are value for money. I’ll definitely be back for a perm and hair treatments!

I went for a haircut yesterday with Jihee. With the pandemic and everything going on, I actually had not cut my hair in over a year. The salon opened promptly at 10.30am, all staff were masked up and I was given a gown to wear over my clothes, in addition to a usual hairdressing gown. There was plenty of space between customers (only two of us when I was there for my slot). Jihee did a great job, and was meticulous through all stages of the haircut and wash. She curled my hair really nicely for me to leave the salon. I will definitely return.

Excellent hospitality and of course, haircut and colour. Had my hair done by KD and I was extremely impressed with the amount of time he took to analyse and advise me on what would suit my hair. I said, “Do whatever you want, but I don’t want short hair”. 😬 It’s fair to see I’ve found my regular salon that I will be going to from now on!! Well worth the money too!
