First time going, a lovely young man prepped my nails very gently - but I didn't catch his name. He did my nails specifically as as asked with great patience, I felt in good hands. I changed my mind and wanted a design so Vicky took over and she did a fabulous job, honestly, it's so pretty. The price was very reasonable for the level of care.

I have really thin nails from years of acrylics. They take their time here to do my nails gently and always do such a good job. Never using the drill for too long and using good products. The place is clean and staff friendly. Often greeting regulars by name and transparent on their prices which are very reasonable. Attached my most recent set of gels

What a wonderful experience, decided to make an appointment after having a disappointing acrylic set somewhere else. The staff were extremely welcoming and accommodated exactly what I wanted. The nail technician did a wonderful job with my nails, taking extra care with shaping & the colour I got was exquisite & natural. Very lovely service form the staff and down the road from me. This is a new salon. I did a walk in apt and was seen to straightway. Bearing in mind I went in 1pm on a Thursday. The salon was very nice. I was offered a drink and later a sweet whilst I was waiting for my nails to dry. Service was very good. I had both a pedicure and a manicure. I sat in a massage chair whilst I had my pedicure. The place was clean. The only minor issues were that the lady that did my nails couldn't really speak English and when she did speak she was very quiet so it was hard to hear what she was trying to tell me. We got by on the gestures she made but I didn't feel I could ask questions. There was a guy managing the place maybe I could have asked him, maybe next time. The other minor issue is that the manicure felt a bit incomplete as she did not moisturise my hand and therefore the overall experience lost some of its wow factor. Also I like having my feet massaged during a pedicure and my hand massaged during a manicure, even if for a couple of minutes. I'm not sure if this is standard practice but there wasn't much of that in my treatments. Based on the overall experience this one time I would generally recommend.

Cannot speak highly enough of my visit to Lux Nail Bar. I had a pedi and dipping powder mani in prep for a wedding - both were excellent and have lasted much longer than I expected. Staff are friendly and professional and went to lengths to ensure my treatments were finished on time as I had an appt straight after. Great salon and can't wait to go back!
