We have been using Modern Touch for years, and recently we had a smoothing pedicure, and full extension manicure with gel Polish. All was going very well, and was happy with the results, however either one of us were not at the informed, but MT added another £20.00 to our bill? I had already paid on treatwell, so when my daughter paid the £20.00 I asked what was it for, she said for take off (pedi) and for shellac! I said we both had Gel Polish which was what I paid for, they didn’t approach me to ask me if we wanted shellac, and my daughter assumed they did. I have written an email asking for an explanation for the extra charge, and as yet I haven’t received a reply. I can understand a charge for take off (normally £5.00) but what was the other £15.00 for? We didn’t have shellac we had gel. I do like MT, but for customers that have used MT or any customer come to that, they really have to brush up on they’re customer service skills, and to explain and reply to anyone with a query.

Place is nice and clean modern deco clean and very friendly staff will give 4stars as good service but on expecting a few nails could have done more neat and cleaning up around the sides but I will be back to again in a few weeks to do my feet and just next time will expect in the shop

I’ve been getting my nails done here for a while (around 2 years now) and I’m always so happy. I have a new style every single time and they always deliver and it’s never a problem with me being a little fussy to make sure my nails are perfect - would highly recommend! Always book in advance too - you’ll avoid a walk in wait time and means you’ll be seated as soon as you enter 😌

Modern Touch is probably one of the best nail salons I’ve ever been to. The staff were really nice, extremely professional and friendly - made me feel welcome. I’ve been going to this salon for the past 4 years and can honestly say I’ve never left disappointed. Thank you for looking after me always! See you in 2 weeks :)

The salon was exceptionally clean and they followed all covid 19 protocols which made me feel very safe. The staff were very friendly and caring asking how my day was whilst i was getting my manicure. Overall i was extremely happy with my nails and will definitely come again ! 10/10

Walked in on a Sunday evening without an appointment and they were so kind to take me at this minute. I was well in need of a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was well done by a guy in the back, he was very quiet which I didn't mind as getting my nails done is a quiet time for me. My finger nails where done by a different male person who was very friendly and helpful to match a pink nail color to my skin toe. The environment is very clean. I appreciate their kindness is taking me last minute. The prices of everything is very reasonable. Do make a reservation ahead of time!

I have been going modern touch salon since I was in college. I used to save up for special occasions but up until lock down I visited bi-weekly, I am so excited to be able to have lashes again in a few days. It is very clean and all the staff are so friendly and patient with me, even when I can't decide my nail colour or design (I mainly get shellac mani pedi, waxing and lash extentions). They always check up on me and ask about my family (so sweet) and mostly importantly I always walk out feeling good. I am so ready for you guys to work your magic! x

I have been in this salon many times, especially when I want to do something creative done with my nails. In my experience they stuff are true perfectionists. At the moment my nails are coca-cola red and holographic chrome. 2.5 weeks later, still looking perfect. Going back today. Highly recommended.

I go there all the time. Linh does my single eyelash extensions and I love them! They last a very long time and look very natural. It has made my life so much easier :) Very good quality! Emma does my nails and she’s very good. She pays very good attention to detail and my nails last a long time.

Absolutely love Modern Touch. Both me and my Daughter are regulars, once a fortnight for colour change, pedicures and just lately my Daughter had eyelash extensions which she’s thrilled with, can’t wait to have mine done. Only little quibble, I had a brow wax on Saturday (21st July) booked in, along with my Pedi. I had a quick look in the mirror, which they seemed fine, but they wasn’t really shaped, ie one brow looked square, and the other was slanted. But apart from that, I recommend Modern Touch. Very friendly and clean.

Best nail salon in Islington! a regular and have been going for 5 years :) good value, nice place and great colour selection.

Lovely service, they provide you with your own buffer etc and shellac that lasts 3 weeks!
