I found my new salon home! It feels great to finally find a place that knows how to style and care for natural hair. Not only that, the salon itself is beautiful and clean. The staff is warm, thoughtful, and professional. I was offered tea while I waited and had a mini consult before the styling began to really assess the best way to achieve what I wanted. I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of service. Big thanks to the Natural Gloe team. I had a long commute (1.5 hours) to the salon but it was 100% worth it. I will be back!

Marlene is exceptional. She took me in at such short notice and made me look AMAZING!!! Coming from another country I didn't know anyone who could work with my natural hair and shaved sides but with luck I found Natural Gloe Hair & Beauty online. I trusted Marlene with my big day(wedding makeup & hair), she totally delivered an excellent service. Marlene is an expert in her field and pays attention to detail while putting her client first. I have been going to see Marlene at Natural Gloe from December 2016 and I’ve never looked back. She knows my hair and I always leave her saloon feeling renewed. I have done everything from a wash and go to color and faux dreadlocks. The salon has such a welcoming atmosphere and Marlene always makes me feel so at home. She has become a great friend! I travel almost an hour and a half to get my hair done at Natural Gloe and I don’t think I can trust anyone else with my hair. Trust me, when it comes to natural hair, they are the best in town!

It's refreshing to have a professional, knowledgeable, friendly business for natural hair. I've always travelled quite a distance to get my hair done or done it myself as I've had such awful experiences at some salons. I booked easily on the website and got a friendly reminder about my appointment. The ladies were helpful and willing to accommodate my request to come in a bit earlier on the day and did a great job with my hair. I was there longer than expected BUT it was worth it because I was happy with the result. I would much prefer to be longer than rushed out. Next time I'll just bring snacks 🤣 I will definitely return and recommend friends and family. Thank you so much Ladies 😊

I absolutely love this place! The ladies know how to take care of natural hair without using rough methods. I will definitely go back to this salon! The ladies are truly interested in making sure your hair is healthy and taken care of. The prices are affordable and if you want to be seen make sure to make an appointment in advance because they stay quite busy. I love everything about this place and I hope you enjoy it too.

Marlene is such an amazing hairdresser. When it comes to caring for natural hair she’s the best person to give you advice. When I first came to Natural Gloe my hair was dry and brittle, now my hair has never been healthier! Once you leave the salon you literally feel amazing, Marlene’s versatility in creating so many different styles is incredible. Marlene offers such a bespoke service, Natural Gloe is a must for anyone who wants healthy hair.

I’ve been to Natural Gloe twice now, and enjoyed on both occasions. I live in northeast London and have driven over an hour & 20 mins each time, despite there being salons who also specialise in natural hair closer to home. There’s just something about Marlene and the Natural Gloe experience that makes me feel justified for going so far out of my way. You just can’t beat a positive personal, warm and friendly experience, can you? My only (very small) criticism is that I don’t think the timings should be listed on the website, as it gives you expectations as far as when you expect to be finished. Both times I have taken much longer than listed on the website but that’s obviously because my hair takes longer to dry. There are varying factors that can dictate how long it will take - method of drying that you chose, your hair type and amount of hair you have etc - That said, it’s just a small thing as I will definitely be going back. Highly recommend!

I couldn't recommend this place anymore for women with natural hair. I went here a few weeks ago for a trim and was beyond elated at the service I received. The owner Marlene was professional, friendly and answered any natural hair questions that I had. My hair is so much more manageable since my trim and I couldn't be happier!
