AMASING service! Staff put you at ease and are super friendly. All covid health and safely in places so reassuring. I go regularly for hair removal, which Parkside are accredited for an frankly best in the business! Waxing/ Brow Treatment/ Mani + Pedi's I look fab too when they have finished with me! I've been coming here since the 90s, its strength is that it's not so much a standard local beauty salon but more like a clinic where you can sort out problems with the skin non surgically. It's therefore somewhere that justifies travelling a longer distance for their specialism.

During my first pregnancy, I develop Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN). At first, they looked like tiny freckles across the cheekbones on my face. They seemed pretty harmless and were not massively obvious, so I chose to ignore them. However, during my second pregnancy, I more developed, more and I began to feel self-conscious. Initially, I approached my GP, who said I would need to seek private treatment but warned the scarring post-removal could be severe. I felt pretty disfigured without treatment and was willing to take a risk. After years of searching for a clinic, I discovered Parkside Beauty who specialises in many advanced cosmetic procedures, including removing DPN. I had a consultation to talked me through the procedure. I felt really assured and was happy to start the treatment. The procedure involved using thermolysis/diathermy electrolysis to remove DPN permanently. After the treatment, my skin felt a little sore and tight, but after a day or two, the DPN began to scab & within 7-10 days, they were gone, with no scarring. I can't believe how quickly the healing time was verse the years I have lived with it. I had them all removed from my neck & most from my face. Parkside Beauty has been a lifeline and has given me back my confidence back after years of living with this. I used to go to this beauty centre when i was a teenager but as i got older i stopped going... just because i didn't use any beauty treatments anymore. However, last year i decided to try this place again now that i wanted some waxing done again and it's so fantastic here. All the staff are so friendly and attentive and i've never had a problem with booking an appointment either.

Lovely receptionist and fantastic skilled beautican. You are given a warm welcome, coat taken and offer drinks. Beautican are registered with electrolysis board and one of the best in their fields. They have good deals and are very friendly. Worth every penny.
