Really really happy with my brows after seeing El. I would highly recommend this business. I wanted some gaps in my brows to be filled in and El also noticed that one brow was higher than the other and put some lines in place to improve this. I am really impressed with the result. They still look natural as I wanted a subtle look, but a LOT more symmetrical. Well worth the price as it lasts for at least a year and I feel happy I did it every time I see myself in a photo or in the mirror. Should’ve done it sooner. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with them now. El really is talented at this. Thanks a lot and will see you again for the touch up in a year.

Though there were cheaper salons out there, I chose Perfect Definition after seeing the impressive results in the gallery. I was not disappointed! El is warm, friendly, yet professional. For my very first semi permanent make-up experience I decided to go for brows microblading and natural lash enhancement with El. I had two appointments including re-touch (first in Canary Wharf, second in Bank). The procedures went very professional. I could barely feel any pain. The saloons were extremely hygienic! I was also pleased with the visual effect. After 12 months the make-up is still visible although decided on a colour boost before summer. Throughout the year I have received many compliments on the look of my eyebrows and upper lid. But at the same time it was not evident to others that this was a semi-permanent make-up. I had no side effects apart from a minor two-day long swelling on the lids which was very normal for the type of procedure. El is a lovely lady and has a great eye for brows design and colour. I'm a male who has suffered with alopecia for about 15 years. I finally lost all of my hair (including my eyebrows) about 7-8 years ago, whilst in my late 20's. I came to terms with it and accepted my appearance. I'd heard of microblading, but didn't really think it was for me. I suppose the whole lockdown thing gave me time to think about things and I just thought "why not?". Obviously, this isn't the sort of thing that you rush into, so I done my research and El stood out. I read her website and her reviews and decided to make an enquiry. I received a quick response, along with a very good quote. I finally felt like I had a chance to improve my appearance and my mind was made up instantly. I couldn't wait to start the process. The only downside was the slight wait, but that obviously spoke volumes about El's work and the demand that there is for her, and it reassured me that she was the right practitioner for me. The procedure was quick and straightforward, with very little discomfort - and that's from someone with no eyebrows at all! Thanks to El, I now have 'eyebrows' and no longer feel like I need to explain my condition to people I'm meeting for the first time. Those that have known me prior to the microblading are massively impressed. Some have said that they had reservations when I told them my plans to get it done, but they all think it was the best thing I could have done, now that they've seen it. Everyone comments on how realistic they look. I must also say how great El is with the aftercare - she follows up with you after the procedure and makes sure that you're fully aware of the do's and don'ts. I fully recommend using El, 100%.

I just had a Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) touch up after 1.5 years from my initial treatment. As testament to El's excellent work, the previous SMP was still well-coloured and few dots had faded. El filled in any areas that could still have dots added and refreshed the existing ones. It's been a week now and I love the results. Regarding pain, for me the process is always painless though experience the sensation of little zaps like bug bites. I would highly recommend this treatment with El for anyone considering it.

She is is meticulous about aftercare and explained that if this is not followed you may not get the results you want. After the procedure I had no problems and followed her advice about aftercare. She followed up with texts and emails asking me to send photos of my eyebrows to check the healing process. After 8 weeks I returned and had a retouch which is included in the price. I have had two lip colour treatments with El now - last year and then my top up this year. I had left almost a year and a half in between treatments and still had some colour and outline on my lips so it lasted really well. El is absolutely lovely, I always enjoy seeing her and catching up! Not too many options with good results out there. I sent e-mails and called good clinics. Some answered my questions, others just booked me in without even trying. No one but NO ONE except El gave me a very professional answer to all of my questions. I knew immediately I can trust her. And I was right. She has a very professional approach but is comforting and friendly at the same time. For me, trusting someone to do a semi-permanent make up that could have a big impact on my looks was huge decision. I am sure we can all relate to it. What can I say more? From day one to aftercare I have received numerous e-mails explaining step by step the whole process and advising about healing. She is friendly, smart and extremely professional, and takes great care of her clients, making sure that they have no contraindications, offering advice and allergy patch tests beforehand, taking the time to design the semi-permanent make-up beautifully, exactly as they want it, and managing the whole process, including the unpleasant pain part of it in a way that is very reassuring and comfortable. She shows you when she opens new needles or microblades and explains everything she is going to do and what is going to happen next in great details, so you don't freak out for no good reason, when for example your eyebrows look very dark the following day, or when they seem to be faint a few days later. By the way, she is teaching what she does, so she has a top notch experience on the matter. I've got both my eyebrows and eyeliner (latino) done and I must say that I am absolutely delighted with the results: they look neat yet very natural, I had only very mild swelling and pain, and zero infection (but she told me it never happened to her clients, which doesn't surprise me a bit). You don't want to end up with an allergy, an infection or a terrible design which would make you look like a clown for the next 3 years, so don't be cheap with such a procedure on your face, go for a pro, not an amateur in a dodgy back alley.

My eyebrows were virtually non existent due to years of over plucking. Having read about microblading, I reviewed a number of places, and felt drawn to the good reviews for El Truchan at Perfect Definition. I contacted El and booked in for a Consultation. As soon as I arrived for my appointment, El makes you feel at ease and explains the whole process in detail, including the aftercare. She drew very carefully fine hair strokes and built up a good shape for my eyebrow. El insisted that I leave the pencilled brow on for 24 hours to make sure that I was happy with the shape before making a decision of booking in for the microblading. The following day I contacted El and confirmed I wanted to book in for the procedure. I had a planned holiday, so El ensured that my appointment for microblading would allow sufficient time for the healing process before I went away. You have to allow 4 weeks for the healing process to be completed on the day of the appointment, El makes you feel at ease, and continually wants to make sure you are happy with every step of the process. She draws the outline of the shape, making sure that you are happy with the size and shape before she goes ahead with the microblading. She then applies anaesthetic to the brow, to numb the area. You feel some scratching, from the blade, but I never experienced any pain, just some discomfort now and again. The whole process takes around 2 hours. Once finished, El makes sure that you are happy with the size and shape, and goes over the aftercare process with you, and also gives you the information in a leaflet, ensuring that you don't forget. El follows up with you the next day to see if you are experiencing any discomort or pain, and again a week later, asking for close up pictures of the eyebrows, checking to see how they are healing. After 4 weeks, you can then go back to El for any filling in that needs to be done, but I chose to have mine done after my holiday. I have recently been back for some filling in, and the shape of my eyebrows are brilliant. I have had quite a few people comment on my new eyebrows, saying how good they look, even though I didn't tell anyone, apart from my husband, that I was having the procedure done. All in all, I have been very happy from beginning to 'end' of meeting with El, having the microblading, the aftercare and the refill. If you are considering on having this done, I would say go for it!! I'm glad that I did.

After 44 years of meticulous and time consuming eyebrow penciling in (every flipping morning, 365 days of the year) I decided enough was enough. Fed up with looking awful in the morning and not being able to face my partner or friends without the eyebrow artwork and not wishing to go snorkeling or swimming on holiday as they would ‘come off’ I decided to see what options there were out there. The word ‘microblading’ was new to me and a worry - it’s basically a tattoo isn’t it, what if it goes wrong, looks false, too dark, terrible shape….? I persevered and spent many an evening googling and reading reviews good and bad. And then I found El. Still concerned about what I was doing (what’s the problem with penciling your eyebrows in every day…) I decided to book a consultation with El first. I needn’t have bothered – as I sat in reception waiting to meet El, her last client came out of the consultation room and sat next to me. WOW! The young lady’s eyebrows looked fantastic, you wouldn’t know they were micro-bladed, they looked so natural. I immediately said to El, “what a waste of time boking a ‘chat’ with you, just book me in asap”! The procedure took place a few weeks later. I can’t deny I was still a tad apprehensive but I shouldn’t have been. El has such a calm disposition and clearly know what’s she is doing. We spent some time getting the shape right and choosing the right colour for my complexion and hair. The micro-blading didn’t actually take too long but what was really surprising was that it didn’t hurt. It just felt like my skin was being lightly scratched. At one point I thought I might nod off with the soothing music in the background. I was delighted once she had finished and took myself back home. Over the next few weeks I took great care – very obedient to the instructions by El which are basically leave them alone and don’t touch until flaked. I didn’t have any swelling or redness or even itchiness when they began to flake. I have just had my touchup (a few months on now from the first session) and am going through the DON’T TOUCH stage. In summary – I haven’t looked back, my eyebrows look fantastic, so real. I have been on holiday and swam in the sea and snorkeled with lots of people and knew that I wouldn’t look odd when I came back out of the water. I can get up in the morning and have breakfast with my partner, friends and family without dashing to the bathroom first (to draw the blasted eyebrows on). Only my other half and a close girlfriend knew what I was having done and absolutely no friends, works colleagues or family have noticed! El is a great ‘artist’ and a perfectionist. I would have no hesitation in recommending her. I can quite honestly say it if a huge relief and, whilst not trying to be over dramatic, life changing!
