Andreea was prompt to meet me outside the salon and take me through once I had arrived. We chatted for a bit beforehand, wax history etc and got started. I had a Hollywood and a 1/2 arm wax. The waxes were done quickly but thoroughly and also had some aftercare advice and some tips on how to get the most out of regular waxing. I am so excited to be able to head back to the wonderful Andreea, after lockdown. Cleanliness and safety at Perfect Waxing is something that I have always noted before Covid, so I am not surprised that Andreea's response to Covid has been exemplary. From the easy to navigate booking service, to the insistence on a completion of a Covid questionnaire, I felt more than satisfied in the lead up to my appointment. On the day of my treatment, I waited outside the salon, and was only allowed to enter with a mask on. Andreea wore a full face shield, gloves and an apron. I also noted how the equipment was being sanitised and was more than satisfied. At no point did I feel unsafe. As for the actual wax, as usual, it was amazing- quick, clean, and extremely smooth. I am regularly in a carnival costume, so I don't play around when it comes to my waxing! Andreea as always provided me with advice, jokes, friendliness and patience. I also appreciate the fact that she does not try to push other treatments and products onto you. The importance she places on aftercare has meant that it has been a long time since I have experienced any ingrown hairs. I have had several facials at Perfect Waxing also, which were tailored to the needs of my skin, and left my face glowing. If you are looking for an excellent service at a reasonable price, I can't recommend Perfect Waxing enough.

And I am a perfectionist, so this says a lot. The salon is on the other side of London from where I live, but I still choose her services because I trust her and I know she is great at her job. So yesterday , the 16th of July, I went there and I can also assure you that you will feel safe, regarding COVID-19 guideline. She follows the law strictly. You will not step into the treatment room without a mask and you will also have to sanitise your hands the second you get in. When it comes to her, she will always wear the protective equipment indicated within the guidelines. The place is clean, safe and Andreea will make sure you will leave feeling very satisfied with the results.

Everything was great except for my leg wax. Which I wasn’t pleased with as there is still quite a lot of hairs on my legs and it’s quite annoying to touch if I’m honest. However Andrea explained it was because I’d shaved weeks prior. Which is cool but it just fell slightly below my expectations.

This waxing session was a walk in the park compared to my first ever waxing session that was done in Eastham in a dingy side street shop behind a flimsy curtain! Andrea was very professional and knowledgable about waxing and all the different types of wax used and certain techniques for certain body parts. Hygiene standards with Andrea are very high, she even cleans the skin and preps it before starting to wax. I was totally dreading a bikini wax but it was actually not bad at all..
