Booked an appointment here after having read the reviews for the salon. Honestly, I have not been disappointed. I was greeted be a smiling Alina who was very welcoming and professional. She took very good care of my wax and also went further to remove my ingrown hairs. Alina worked really fast and made sure I was comfortable, I couldn’t ask for a better service!! Both wax ladies are amazing, Alina is exceptional. I’d definitely recommend, the Hollywood wax was not painful at all, I reckon that this was due to Alina’s years of experience.

Did my first laser treatment a couple weeks back. Alina is kind, very knowledgeable and professional. She explained the process clearly and gave me instructions to follow post-treatment. The thing itself is quick, easy and painless. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

Desi was amazing - she was very thorough, spoke to me throughout the waxing and made me feel very comfortable. She also provided advice for my stubborn hairs, dry skin and gave me a lovely hand/arm massage after waxing! Simply amazing and my skin feels and looks fantastic. Definitely will go with her again.

I’ve been going to Shumalias for almost 3 years and each time I attend I am never disappointed. The salon is so clean and their staff are so polite. I get my treatments done by ALINA. She’s so fast, professional, kind and provides great customer service! I would recommend this salon!

This salon is fantastic! The staff are so welcoming and very efficient, everything is on time and they are very professional. My treatment was carried out by Daisy (at the East Ham branch ) who is amazing she really put me at ease for my laser treatment. She was very informative and really friendly and explained all the procedure to me before my patch test.she answered all my questions. They use the Soprano Ice laser which honestly fabulous I found was virtually pain free it's cooling on your skin so you don't feel much heat apart from sensitive areas. Daisy took her time with the treatment she didnt rush me and asked constantly if I was ok. All areas were thoroughly and professionally treated and advice was offered on aftercare and further appointments. Now for the results! Absolutely Amazing! Wow! After my first teatment I noticed a result already! Less growth and areas hair free already, underarms practically hair free :) I've now had my second treatment and was shown the same care and professionalism from Daisy. This Salon is highly recommended and so is Daisy who will provide 5 star treatment. Thanks guys.

Just had an absolutely amazing massage at Shumailas on Barking Road. (I didn’t catch my therapists name) but she was 10/10. She understood my back and I have come away feeling relaxed and fresh. Sonia is professional, gentle ans her customer service top quality. Using her services for the first time felt really comfortable as if I had been going there for years. Shumailas East Ham branch is one of the nicest beauty salons in East London. The place is clean and the decor pleasing to the eye. The staff are always very professional and extremely welcoming. Really get your money's worth. I had the brightening facial done and I thoroughly enjoyed it with my face looking all glowy and feeling smooth. However beware they do like to upsale. I apparently needed another treatment in 2 weeks and was offered a 10 treatment block buy at a discount.....which does mean you save money definitely but felt the advice was a bit overrated. Nevertheless I do recommend going here. The treatments available are great and good service.

This salon is the best! I am always SO happy after Alina does My facial, massage and mani and pedi. She is so good at her job and always gives me the best tips! Ambrin also persuaded me to get microblading done and I can’t say how happy and content I am with the result. She always brightens my day, with her smiles and happiness being the face of the salon (receptionist) . I had another encounter that was really different from my first. The manager called me and apologise for the treatment I intially had. My 2nd experience was Excellent. The staffs especially (priya that did my lashes) were very polite and gentle. I had to book another session for full body massage which turned out to be a first class top notch experience. I have been a Shumaila client for past 4-5 months. I have done lvl for lashes, body massage and more than 14 sessions of facial massage and microdermabrasion. The ladies are professionals, the service starting from the door the moment you enter and until you leave is without a fault. The products used are of great quality, the music is great, the place is clean and tidy always and the rooms are clean and warm. Cannot think of a better place to get myself pampered and relaxed than Shumaila. Keep up the good work, ladies! Your valued customer ;)

50/50 5* for Humma but 3* for treatments First of all amazing experience with Humma who did my laser treatments, i always recommend her for the treatment as she is very professional and makes you feel comfortable,. Although not happy with the result on my arms (Humma not to blame as she did her job) Not happy with my lash lift treatment as was told it would last upto 6-8weeks, even after being very careful and not wetting my lashes and combing regular my lashes started to droop within 2 weeks. Would recommend the soprano ice for laser but wouldnt recomend the lash lift due to price and time frame.

I went to Shumailas for waxing and facial, and it was very relaxing. Staff has good attitude and service. My therapist Huma is kind and her work is very good. Will recommend to anyone who wants good service.

I’ve been getting my eyelashes LVL with Ambreen from the east ham branch for the last 5 to 6 months- she is absolutely brilliant and would highly recommend her as your LVL technician. The only reason I haven’t given them five stars is because sometimes there is a bit of confusion at the reception desk as to what details they need, and can get a little confusing sometimes. But ladies if you want your eyelashes LVL and to look beautiful for 4 to 6 weeks Ambreen is amazing and definitely the lady for you.

Funny how this isn't rated at all here because it's the best I've been to in East Ham. If you are familiar with the area, you'll know how it's crowded with tacky, below standard salons. This is a breakthrough as it looks decent, has trained staff and provides extensive treatments such as advanced electronic facials and all that jazz. I am a regular here for massages and facials and being a South Asian salon, they of course do fab eye brows. Do stop by as it's the closest it can get to a central london salon.
