I have been looking for a hair removal salon since leaving NYC. A lot of beauty salon's use mediocre wax, however at Strip they use the proper black wax which is the best and most comfortable way to remove hair it is also super quick. Staff could not have been more friendly helpful and professional. I will definitely be returning to Strip!

First time over at Strip Soho and the experience was really good. Martina took her time in explaining what was happening and she made sure to check that I was comfortable throughout the process. The wax used was good as I have sensitive skin so this was a big one for me. I will definitely patronise this place again for future waxing services!

I have been going to Strip Wax for years, and it never disappoints. They always do an excellent job, and make the experience as pain free as waxing allows. Staff are always really helpful, the rooms are gorgeous and they use great products. Would highly recommend.

I have been coming to Strip for over a year now- a great service from everyone! The most comfortable and fast wax I've experienced. I haven't been anywhere else since I found Strip and won't.

My friend recommended Strip soho a few years ago and I’ve been going here ever since. I don’t trust anyone else with my waxing. The service is exceptional. They are so accommodating, friendly and always put me at ease. Highly recommend esp for newbies to waxing (like I was!).

Friendly staff, nice premises. They have amazing Lycon wax they use that is great for even the most sensitive skin. You also have the pleasant distraction of Netflix playing if you wish. I used strip wax for the second time for waxing my legs and for brazilian. I've been super satisfied. At Soho everyone was very kind and pleasant. The hot wax is a revelation and how brazilian should be executed. I felt almost no pain. The rates are a bit pricey but it's worth the money regarding the service and the environment.

So, I have been using Strip Wax salons for about five years now. I have had inconsistent experiences with most of them but the Soho salon. Generally, I have a very positive experience here, but this past visit that was not the case. First off: my review is NOT about the quality of waxing. The wax was excellent and usually is. This review is about the customer service (and lack of following the COVID safety measures) of the receptionist. My appt was the last of the day. I live 45 minutes away (a train plus a tube ride). I was asked if I could please come in 5-10 mins earlier (an annoying request this salon likes to make often, btw). I said, sure, because I thought I could. Well, public transport being how it is, I was not able to arrive early but rather right on time. I received two calls about where I wasmind you--I was doing them a favour by trying to get there early. I arrive, right at my original time, and the receptionist is not wearing her mask over her faceat all. Mouth and nose exposed. She was irritated and grumpy. She said I should have called to let her know I wouldn't arrive at the new, 10 minute early timeI explained that I was on the tube when I realised I wouldn't be able to get there earlier. She immediately extends the card machine out saying can I please pay now even before I've been waxed. I said okay, but also shared that I felt really rushed and this was not a fun experience to walk into. She did not apologise for her exasperated attitude but rather blamed it all on how it was hot and the air con was broken (and she wanted to leave of course). Listen, I get it, it was hot, but not that hot in the salon. I suspect she was more wanting to go out and enjoy the weather and less concerned about the heat (it was a bit muggy but not terrible inside--much better than outside!). Overall, just a really negative, rushed experience with the receptionist. Also, not following guidelines to wear the mask over her face (rather than under her chin) is not okay. For what the cost of a wax is at these salons, there is no excuse to have an unfriendly, pushy receptionist who doesn't even follow the safety measures of the salon.

Easy to book in with a therapist. Upon arrival they make you fill out short questionnaire about your waxing history. I requested a senior therapist due to some previous bad experiences. I was put with a nice Romania girl whose name I can't currently recall. She was very quiet during the waxing service and I had to do most of the talking which isn't always ideal especially when certain areas are being waxing and you'd want to be distracted instead. Overall technique she used was decent and she was very thorough and took her time, which is a pro because it shows she wanted to do a good job but a little uncomfortable in the butterfly position for over 25 minutes. Wax was a little hot at some points but she used a clean stick for each and every application that was on me. Wax was good quality and they had a TV playing some series to help break up the silence in the room. Receptionist was nice and payment easy and offered water upon arrival and when you left. Would definitely come back and worth the money for a therapist who knows how to wax properly.

Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Returned to Strip Soho after a few months of visiting a cheaper waxing salon and realised how much better it is. Far less painful and the wax they use makes a huge difference in terms of aftercare. They take their time and don’t rush you in and out. A luxury experience! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I was really looking forward to visiting this place as it came highly recommended in magazines and blogs online. The staff were very polite & friendly, the hot wax they use is top quality making the Hollywood wax pain free and the young Italian girl who did the wax is as good as any experienced wax therapist. However, the Soho branch treatment rooms look nothing like the pictures and are akin to the 2 Star nail bar back room wax areas. Because of this the site is not as clean as I expected. I am used to Medical standard cleanliness for treatment rooms from HC Med Spa in North London (especially post Corona season) I would go back and recommend, because I have been to many places that have this wax on the wall situation. But i will be looking for another venue.

Male Initimate Waxing Good: 1. Massive branch network with good location -> high availability and flexibility on timing 2. Exceptionally clean room Bad: 1. Wax application skills -> The lady does not know it's easier removing a wax when she can create a "curl up corner" when she's applying it on the skin. flicking up (and looking for) a corner after it dries not only takes time but also create discomfort to client 2. Wax removal skills -> It's always ideal to remove one part of the wax in one go in a millesecond. However, that requires to apply wax with even thickness when it's hot. Without it, you will stuck in a situation requires pull and hold, pull and hold repeatedly which will be extremely painful to the client, and that was what happened to me. For this, I believe the ladies in Jack Dunn waxing have done a much better job My experience: 6 years of visiting various wax bars in London, Paris, NY and HK.

This is by far my favourite waxing salon in London. The staff are always friendly, professional and on time and the waxing experience is far superior to most. It almost makes waxing enjoyable :-) The treatment rooms are spacious, nicely lit and clean and you feel like you are getting your money's worth. I also love the beautiful underwear range they have in the retail section.
