Absolutely fantastic. I left feeling the most relaxed I've ever felt! And the cleanest too. I went for the platinum package - use of facilities, scrub and massage - and it was worth every penny. I'll be going back, without a doubt!

I was gutted when covid cancelled my original appointment. The staff at this spa were considerate and allowed me to reschedule. We visited 24th January 2022, first timers and eager we arrived early but were late into these beautiful, clean premises. We quickly changed and were given a tour all facilities were available - the showers, jacuzzi, pool, ice room, dry and steam saunas. We had an amazing foam massage, my therapist Danielle was polite and firm just what I needed. An relaxing, tranquil experience for me, we would return and recommend. My daughter just has a comment about her therapist not having boundaries - please ask before taking costume off clients she was taken back.

booked for 2 couples on a sunday afternoon as a birthday treat, the place is super clean, fantastic facilities, not overcrowded at all, they have a big pool, a lovely pool/jacuzzi, saunas cold/hot/dry & the traditional hammam treatment which was pure luxury.we love, love it! the staff were friendly and took care of all our needs. we left and felt like a new person, so light and clean. tbh this is one of the BEST spa in london, we will be booking again.thank you.

Where to start??? This place is magnificent! Very, very clean. Ladies only day was an excellent, revitalising experience. The use of ‘All’ the facilities were wonderful and the staff are kind, pleasant, professional and attentive. To top it all off, the Turkish bath and end of session Turkish tea was AMAZING 🤩……To be honest, myself and my companions felt like Royalty (with a capital R). I will definitely be coming back.

Came about 3 weeks ago and absolutely loved it, already have another booked in 2 weeks time! I have not come across a place where they offer a variety of things to all under one roof -for ladies only. Felt nice and cosy, and the staff were lovely. I was glad they told a girl off for not wearing her shower cap in the Jacuzzi and for shaving near the shower area, glad they picked that up. Read a comment about CCTV use, whilst I am happy with the explanation, had I not read the review I too would have been shocked at first instance. Perhaps a good idea mention it on the booking to avoid this? Overall great place and can't wait to return !

I love this local spa ! It's great value and so clean. Never too busy, which is important to me when using facilities,you don't feel crowded or rushed at any time. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The pool is beautiful, jacuzzi so warm. Good size Sauna and, steam rooms, the ice room if you dare is great additional to spa experience. Hammam treatment is good, come away feeling squeaky clean.

Very pleased with the hammam reasons are: they're organised, clean and friendly! For the body foam/scrub I had a lady called souad and she was amazing from.start to finish. Only would advise if they had a water fountain or provided jugs of water infused with cucumber ect to keep clients hydrated during steam room sessions. Thank you guys!

I've been visiting this spa for a good few years now on a monthly basis and was very sad when they had to close due to the Covid pandemic. Now they have reopened and are still providing an excellent service. The premises are clean. All facilities; swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and ice room are in full working order and the Hammam scrub is still out of this world! The staff and very friendly and always willing to help. I would recommend you try this at least once and you will find yourself booking in every month like me :)

I went to Hammond spa for a birthday present brought for my partner. It was totally different from what I was expecting. It's a hidden gem In the middle of Edmonton. Once inside the staff were very polite. It's is extremely clean and you can see the staff take this very seriously in their job role. Ladies with long hair must wear a shower cap , flip flop must be worn at all times. Towels, shower caps etc can all be purchased at the front desk fairly cheap. There is a lovely Jacuzzi, steam room, swimming pool, sauna and also an Ice room. The foam massage was plesent but was only 15 minutes long. Longer treatments were offered. It almost felt like I was in another country once inside, not Edmonton. When we came out we was offered Turkish tea, and there was a bar. Overall a very relaxing experience. I would 100% return again.

I booked the couples retreat with my boyfriend as a treat. I got there and received a warm welcome from the lovely receptionist. Towels, slippers and locker keys were provided. The whole service was a 10/10. The ladies that gave us the treatment were attentive and patient. They all attended to our needs and made us feel so comfortable considering it was a first time experience for most of us. The massage at the end of the treatment was the icing on the cake. This is a lovely spa, I came here with a group of 5 people. The facilities are nice and clean, I used the sauna, ice room, swimming pool and had a hammam bath. We were offered a Turkish tea at the end of our visit. It's nice they they offer time slots for women only, separate slots for men only and they also have slots for couples. I will definitely like to come back here. The only downside was a slight language barrier with some of the staff members.

My wife booked us the Old Hammam Experience which includes a 20 minute Peel/Scrub and light foam massage as well as use of all the other rooms in the facility, and I have to say it was all an excellent experience. The spa was clean and bright, and the range of different rooms (steam, sauna, cold) and pools was good. Cold drinking water was regularly made available. Thoroughly enjoyed the treatments which were administered by the very helpful staff. We were offered a nice cup of tea when it was all over, which we enjoyed with a nice chat with the manager of the Hammam. All in all, highly recommended and I'll be going back.

It was my first visit there and the staff were wonderful. Very welcoming and friendly. The spa itself was very clean and hygienic, the facilities were excellent. You have a sauna, a steam, an ice room, Jacuzzi and a pool. There is also the Hammam area. The ladies were great, I could have stayed all day getting that scrub. I would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of going and I will definitely be going back. I booked through wowcher which was only a pound cheaper than booking it direct, so next time I'll probably just do it directly. The cherry on the top was the complimentary Turkish tea at the end of my visit, I'm quite a fan of it.

The first two hours were spent making use of the Jacuzzi, Swimming Pool, Sauna, and steam room. This was followed by a 20 min scrub and foam massage which was amazing, and makes you feel super clean. Lovely place, clean and friendly. The Hammam was amazing, both myself and partner loved it and were treated really well. I initially thought we couldn't spend over an hour in there, but was using the facilities freely for over two and never felt so relaxed. At the end we was offered complimentary Turkish tea which was really nice. Only negatives was the person who took the call to book, booked us in at the wrong date. The lockers are a bit small. Towels and shower caps should be included, maybe raise the price up £5 and include this? Paying that amount of money to be asked for an extra £1 or £2 doesn't make sense. Last bit of constructive criticism is that there should be one near where I live! :) Would highly recommend going!

I took my mum this morning. We had never been before. I cannot believe this place, it’s amazing. It’s huge! I honestly thought it was going to be a dingy little spa in Edmonton but it’s really not! The sauna, steam, ice room, jacuzzi, and swimming pool are all large (much bigger than most of the hotel spas). The hammam treatment room looks authentic in every way. My mum has had this treatment in 3 different countries and she said it looked like we were in another country. The jacuzzi is lovely and hot! The pool is the right temperature. The staff are nice and they run you through everything. Everything you need to know about what you need to bring is on there “spa etiquette” page on their website. I wasn’t sure at all... but If you’re considering booking, you should. Definitely a good decision.

Went there on a Saturday with my brother as it was a birthday gift. The reception area is very elegant and the staff was very friendly and very helpful. Being our first time the staff explained what we had to do and we were shown around the spa and told where and what to do before our treatment. The Spa was very clean and well maintained. The ladies that provided our treatments were very friendly and made you feel welcomed and relaxed. I must say I found this Spa the best I have been too even compared with the ones up Town as it was local, clean and the staff made you feel very welcome and relaxed would definitely recommend to friends and family. They also provide you with water at all times and a lovely complimentary Turkish tea before you leave. Please pay a visit I guarantee you will love it even just to use the facilities, Steam room, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Cold room and Pool.

This is fantastic and very good for the money and extremely clean which is why they use shower caps to help keep things clean. The few times we've been there we've been really lucky to have this place pretty much to ourselves. The swimming pool isn't huge but it's a decent size. I love the steam room and the ice room is a nice touch.

The Turkish Bath was great - we both felt really refreshed after and both look amazing. All the facilities were amazing. The spa was clean no traces of any hair as you have to put you r hair in a shower cap! - They have lovely marble flooring and new tiles. It looks fab! Deffo recommend and will defy go again.

I booked this as a last minute birthday gift for my partner as a pamper day treat. The receptionist was really friendly and fitted us in for the same day, it was a blessing that someone had cancelled. It's based in Edmonton which is a very robust, economically challenged area with no frills attached, however when you walk into the Hammam Spa you suddenly forget that you are in Edmonton as the place is a gem. All of the staff are lovely and attentive. The venue is very clean. it is very compact with all you need under one roof with a cosy feel. We had dry steam, wet steam, cold room, lovely cute swimming pool and a turkish scrub which made our skin squeaky clean. All in all i would definitely recommend. It is great value for money.

The experience was ok. I was given a brief tour of the facilities and tips on when to use the steam room, sauna, ice room and there are lockers to place your belongings in. You do need a £1 coin, although I was given a token. The spa itself is quite empty, which I liked. I think hourglass timers are needed in the sauna and steam room as you have to come out of the room to check the time. After about 35 mins of using the facilities I went in for my peel and foam. The guy was friendly and nice but the scrubbing was done without any oil which can be quite uncomfortable. The foam was nice and I did feel clean after. The treatment itself was not 20mins and was more like 15mins. I was offered a Turkish tea tbh I wasn't sure whether this was free or not so I just declined. I had a hammam experience was in Istanbul and I felt really clean and relaxed after the experience. So I was expecting the same experience here but wasn't the case. In summary I think if you have never experienced a hammam before you will probably like it, however if you have experienced a true hammam in Turkey you will most likely be disappointed.

I can rave on about this place forever and I have recommended it to everyone I speak to who is interested in a hammam. I've dragged along many friends and they've all been highly impressed. My main thing about this place is how clean it is! I've been to many spas and such however this place always draws me back because of how clean and comfortable I feel there. Not a loose hair strand in sight! I usually go for the hammam which involves softening the skin and opening up your pores in the steam room, getting a goooood scrub down by one of their lovely ladies (you'll be surprised seeing all the dead skin wash off) and then a foam massage to end that part of the experience. You're then left to use their facilities for upto two hours, which consists of an ice room (!), steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool and cold water bucket which you can splash over you. They also offer other services such as massages, beauty therapy and hair removal etc. Once the experience is over, you get a complimentary Turkish tea which just rounds it all off superbly. Parking on street nearby is free - some of the roads have no yellow or red lines but if you can't get a spot, there is a small public car park just 10 seconds walk away where you can pay by the hour. I could not speak more highly of The Old Hammam - every single time, I leave feeling squeaky clean! Will be making this a monthly thing, methinks!

Before I booked our hammam experience I checked the google reviews, and to be honest I thought some may not be genuine as they all seemed very positive so I thought they could not all be accurate. However, after my experience on Sunday all I could say is that 5 stars is not even enough. I booked a Couples Retreat for my husband and myself, and we were both extremely pleased with everything about the experience. The facilities are very clean, the service was amazing with very friendly and professional staff, the massages were the best we have ever had. My massage was by a lady called Sonya and she honestly works miracles!!! Definitely will recommend this place and the package!!! Worth the value!

The entire place is done up like a Palace and they provide Top Quality Treatment. We found a deal on Group On. Purchased via Group On. Called up the Hammam and booking an appointment was very easy using the Group On confirmation. I didn't know what to expect as I have never been to any place like this before. We were advised to bring swim wear. The staff will lead you through the process i.e. advise you how long to spend in each one of the rooms (Sauna Room, Steam Room, Arctic Room which is -10 Degrees) and the entire process was done very professionally. We felt like the staff really took their time with us and we did not feel like we were being rushed at all. You are the centre of their attention. The Full Body Scrub service is very good and you will feel the cleanest you have ever felt; your skin will feel like you've just been born again. You will feel even better the next day. There are also Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi facilities. You are free to use all of the facilities. This place is Extra Extra Clean. The service is well under-priced. I can not recommend this place enough.

I went there today, it was a treat from my wife. The best Hammam experience. I have been to Hammams in Turkey. But this is a different experience. So I went and had a shower then went into the steam room for 10 minutes. Then I received a massage which lasted for an hour. A deep tissue full body massage. The went and had another shower, sat in the jacuzzi for 10 minutes. The went into the sauna for 10 minutes, after this had a 20 minutes full body Scrub. The went and had a cold shower and then went into the ice room for 10 minutes. Finished the eve ingredients off with a 30 minute splash in the pool and then another cold shower. It was an amazing experience. Can't wait to visit it again . The service is top. Professional and polite at all times.

Tbh i was dreading it as my 1st experience was abroad and I hated it BUT the old hammam and spa have totally changed my feelings towards a hammam. We also loved the fact that separate sessions for ladies, gents and couples are available. Upon asking Faz said he would pffer a deal for large group bookings. The spa was nice & clean. We really enjoyed all the facilities I.e jacuzzi, pool, sauna, steam room. The ice room needs better flooring as there was literally ice forming onto the floor & my sister almost slipped & banged her head on the tiled seats. Please be really careful in there! As for the Hammam... I have had Hammams in Turkey & Marrakech & it wasn’t the same. As far as I’m concerned the scrub should be with an olive oil paste which wasn’t used. The scrubbing wasn’t hard enough, it was very weak/bleak. I didn’t feel as squeaky clean as I did in Turkey & Marrakech. Also we should be laid upon hot stone slab but what we were laying on wasn’t hot... the lighting was too bright. A Hammam experience should be tranquil, deep, relaxing. The lighting should be dim & candles should be used to create that authentic Hammam experience. It wasn’t nice that other guests were very loud outside so we couldn’t really hear them. Also the ladies looked like they were using pound job buckets to pour water on us. It just didn’t seem authentic as they claim to be. The scrub was so dry, i don’t understand if they claim to be authentic why they didn’t use the olive oil paste? Also they didn’t offer Turkish Tea as a complimentary at the end which I thought was rude as the reviews do say this is served at the end. They did offer iced water in plastic cups (which they re-use) at the start which is nice. All in all the facilities were nice but for someone who has actually had authentic hammams from turkey & marrakech... the Hammam experience was bleak. I would come back to use the facilities but not the Hammam part. That was a let down considering I booked this for my sisters pre wedding pamper day :(

A lovely hidden gem in London! Who knew that you could find a fully Turkish Hammam at the outskirts of London, with a beautifully decorated Hammam room, with its tiled walls, marble fountains and vaulted ceiling, where you'll get a full body scrub followed by a relaxing foam bath. The place is also equipped with a dry sauna, steam room, ice room and swimming pool. On top of this you can also get many other massage treatments in a separate room which could do with a bit of decoration and lighting to set the mood... however the staff are all very nice and will lead you around the spa for your specific session, sometimes feeling even a bit too controlling, although always with great intentions :-)
