Staff are all very knowledgeable when it comes to tanning and always greet you with smiles on their faces. Emma & Libby are lovely girls really friendly and chatty and always do their upmost to make every customer feel welcome :) And Paul is possibly the most handsome man I have ever laid eyes on ;);) Best Sunbed shop ever!!! I would personally recommend all of The Tanning shops but especially this one as it is the best one by far!!!!!!!! :):)
M. E.I have been visiting this Angel-Islington (London) branch since 2015 safely tanning throughout the 12 months (instead having of a summer holiday blitz under the punishing sun. In fact, regular five-minute sessions acclimatises my skin to any heatwave sun that the UK climate delivers sometimes) and never thought of reviewing the branch.
The staff, coordinated by the cornerstone of the store, Emma, are all professionally friendly, presenting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere even at very busy times/quick (customer) turnaround.
Yes, the 'brown-design' of the branding is oddly outdated but that is outmatched by the quality of the machines (and the adroit advice proffered by the staff, especially when the 'tubes' are replaced & tanning length/time). In the four years, the machines have been clean as are the changing-cubicles. Question: why cannot we have full-length mirrors in the cubicles (even safety mirrors)?
The range of tanning accessories are reasonably priced and cover all the types of tanning you want to undertaken.
Tanning packages are equally well-prices and I follow the company's Twitter feed for special offers too.
Overall, whilst there is a Tanning Shop branch nearer to my Office, I go out of my way to visit the Angel-Islington branch (though it could be valued more by their HQ and be re-decorated outside & inside too).

A. H.I go to the Islington tanning shop often it is always clean and the staff are always very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about tanning/lotions. Would recommend using The sunbeds here as they always hot and the tubes are strong leaving me with th best colour. Thank you

E. E.UPDATE APRIL 2021 - with months of shop closure lockdown you'd have thought that the shop was CLEANED but no.
And a few of the machines have interior lights are swinging loose exposing LIVING 240v CABLES. H&SE will have to be told about this, and other lights are fitted but held in place with bits of metal screws.
Head Office needs £ invest in a modern interior too.
The main 'mural' is dented and exposed chalk board must be a asthmatics nightmare (even in covid 19 mask wearing times). Tatty interior.
If it wasn't for the 100% fantastic staff, I'd go elsewhere. BUT The TS Head Office, get your act together and INVEST in ISLINGTON.
First review in 2020 - For over a year I have been going to the Islington branch and they continue to be professional, supportive. Friendly staff 7 days a week, and if they say that you should not exceed a tanning duration that you THINK you need listen to them. They know they machines (and tanning tubes) strength.
Seemingly, your well-being is more important than cash-on-the-Till.
Clean machines but, as it is recommended, it can be busy at times at the weekends, and sign-up to the Tanning Shop Twitter account for "special offer" alerts.
Overall, superb experience.
