I am from the States, but my wedding was near London last month. I was very worried about having a spray tan done, as I never have before. I emailed them with my questions and concerns a few months in advance. They were so kind and thoughtful with their responses. I was able to book the wedding package and was able to do the trials in London beforehand to make sure we got the look exactly right. Each one was perfect! The first time, Suzi came to the flat I was staying in and the second time, I went to the new and beautiful shop they just opened. I plugged the address into my GPS and it was incredibly easy to find. For the third and final tan, Suzi did my tan and all of my bridesmaids tans at our Airbnb 3 days before my wedding. She did a phenomenal job! Suzi is extremely kind, professional and an artist at her job. She suggested going slightly darker before the wedding to make sure it was perfect for the day, and she was spot on. It lasted beautifully. Very natural and I felt radiant! PS: I was also nervous because I have more olive toned skin, and was nervous a spray tan would look silly on someone with somewhat tan skin already (although I was more pale in the winter months, hence the need for the tan). I was wrong! Beautifully done and would certainly go again.

Beautiful salon with a really friendly atmosphere. I absolutely loved spending time in there getting my nails done, it was very relaxing and I felt so welcome. The girls in there are so lovely and I could tell they all love what they do. Madalina did my luxury manicure and she was amazing! Would definitely recommend and I will definitely be going back even though it’s in the other end of the cuty for me!

The Walnut Club is a great local beauty salon with lots of essential and affordable services. The employees are friendly and quick. I do miss the old layout and design where it was more open and welcoming but the redesign didn’t change the service and quality!

I've walked past this shop for months now and eventually got the opportunity to try them for the first time today. Beautiful shop, with an understated style. Great range of extras to buy and really good coffee:) The staff were friendly and engaging and I can honestly say it's the best gel manicure I've ever had. Will definitely be back.

I have a wedding to attend tomorrow and I am so winter-pale I don't think I was ever this pale in my life. On top of that, my dress is a light grey-purple colour and when I tried it on, I looked like a ghost. I decided to get a fake tan but I was TERRIFIED of looking like Donald Trump. Don't get me wrong, I am brazilian and have already a "natural tan", but the lack of vitamin D really make me look like I am ill, so a tan would make me look way better on my dress. After doing some research, I found the Walnut Club - and read the reviews. And I am going to be another one writing an excellent review. I was really scared and explained I just wanted the lightest tan to take the "you look ill" out of me and that's what I got. I came to work today and no one commented on my new bronzed look because it's so natural (not orange, not dark, EXACTLY what I asked for) and it suits me perfectly. It was extremely professional and clean procedure and the woman, whom I don't remember the name of, was the sweetest and most understanding person ever. So yea, if you don't have access to the sun but still wanna look sun-kissed, the Walnut Club is definitely the best place to go to. I will come back!!!

Best nail salon in Islington! Madalina was amazing! She took care of everything and gave me the best mani ever! If you’re looking for a great nail salon this is it, stop looking. I loved the atmosphere, they have a great vibe and the attention to detail is excellent! Also the place is aesthetic goals😍 Coming back for sure and definitely trying their spray tans soon!

Had my first spray tan with the lovely Ezgi who made me feel comfortable and at ease as soon as she came in. I am over the moon with the tan colour may I dare say its the best one I've had to date.. Will definitely be using The Walnut Club again. Had loads of after tan tips too which I am really pleased with. Thank you Ezgi.

From beginning to end the experience was amazing, the shop itself is cool and quirky and you can have a coffee while you wait, loved the 80's music that played (reminded me of stranger things) Suzie - the tan technician is lovely and welcoming (even let me use her hairband which I forgot to give back) When I got downstairs I was in shock, the room where you get sprayed is absolutely beautiful and had lots of space, so much better than a tanning tent. The tan was flawless, not orange in the slightest, if anything I would like to go darker next time! Will defo be back, very happy to find this place.

Such a great natural colour and both Suzy and Elaine are fantastic! They even come to your house. Have recommended to all my friends and would highly recommend to everyone looking for a great spray tan.

Rating: 4.5 Love this little cute salon on Blackstock. Speaking *only* for the waxing as it's the only service I've had here: service is usually fast & I've never had to wait for my slot (she's super efficient & keeps to time well). Prices are the same as the area; salon is clean & staff friendly.

Had a great wax with liz, she's is so lovely and gentle, and the wax was a painless as it could be. Even an hr after getting it done, my skin is soft and not red atall. Iv had other waxes in other salons when my skin is so so red raw and painful, but not at the walnut club. It's such a good local salon, worth a visit even just for their amazing plant collection. Iv also had my nails done with Philippa before, which was amazing, they lasted for forever. Thank you all. Fx

Thrilled with my Tan from the Girls at 'The Walnut Club'. They take the time to find out what your desired colour is and my end result is Always exactly what I was wanting. Suzi and Elaine have a wealth of knowledge in all things Tanning and I would Highly recommend their services.

This is the first place I have ever got round to leaving a review for, which is testament to how good it is! My friend and I both had a mani and pedi with gels, which were perfectly done by Phillipa and Penny, both of which were lovely and chatty and made us feel completely at home. The place is really well kitted out, great style.

Needed a quick and easy spray tan last minute as I was down in London for the weekend and The Walnut Club did exactly that! Having usually used Fake Bake Gold for previous tan's I very much preferred and loved the St Tropez tan for a more natural olively colour which was easily buildable! - Suzi is so welcoming and friendly!
