I was pleasantly surprised by Wax & Massage. If cleanliness is important to you, this is the place for you. If professionalism is important to you, George is the therapist for you. His studio is not only clean, but it is spacious too, unlike many places in London that make you feel claustrophobic and unsanitary. Best Massage and scrub I have had to date and will definitely return. I always leave refreshed and happy.

George has a very soothing and personable demeanor and puts you at ease from the moment you enter. His studio is impeccably clean and tidy and he always has a lovely scented candle burning and relaxing music during a massage. He adjusts pressure based on your direction and the muscle he is working during the massage. With waxing, he uses very high quality products and moves quickly to avoid pain - he also finishes applying oil to help to avoid any irritation. I have visited many therapists around the world for a variety of massage and waxing and truly feel he is one of the best! I look forward to seeing him again soon and enjoying the bliss of his relaxing touch.

I had a Swedish massage from George who was very welcoming and friendly. I arrived 1/2 an hour earlier than my appointment - he was very accommodating and was happy to see me earlier which was great. He was able to work out the knots in my back as well as ensuring that I left very relaxed. His apartment was very clean and tidy with plenty of fresh, quality towels on the massage table. The oils he used smelled lovely. I'd definitely recommend George and will be going back again.

To say I was apprehensive about my first visit to a waxing and treatment salon would be a huge understatement but after a few minutes introduction from George, I was put at ease and ready to go. Starting with a full body detox salt scrub which left my skin feeling incredible, George then started waxing my shoulders, back, nostrils and yes, my more intimate areas. George has a super comfortable and clean space, and he is extremely nice, welcoming, professional, and a real stickler for quality and detail. I really appreciated how he really took his time and caught every hair while trimming, or really explained the science behind his magic scrub formula filled with amazing essential oils and healing salt, and the care with which he gave his fantastic massage and facial. It was my first ever waxing and I was very nervous. However, George made me feel immediately at ease and was friendly and reassuring, explaining the treatment in fine detail. It was very effective and I was drawn back to try the Swedish massage which was reasonably priced, relaxing and restorative. I would recommend him without any hesitation. Having had waxing and massage and been very happy with the treatments, I decided to try out a relax and restore facial treatment. The essential oils George used were excellent quality, the exfoliation was very relaxing using Himalayan Sea Salt, followed by a Dead Sea mineral clay mask and facial cleansing treatment which was rejuvenating and made my skin glow. I had never considered having a facial treatment but I feel very safe to try new treatments with George as he takes his time to make you feel relaxed and comfortable, as if you are in a luxury hotel or spa.

Since then I have gone back for a full body massage, as well as a deep tissue massage (as well as regular eyebrow waxing). I play hockey and the massage really helped with my injuries. You have to meet George! I chose this business because the chest and abs wax was £30 and everyone else charged 35-45. The reviews were outstanding and the proximity was good. When I first arrived we made introductions and George was very hospitable to offer me a drink, the music was a very relaxing piano which made for a nice calming setting. He had already prepped the wax to save me time. As busy as his schedule must be I never felt rushed, the waxing was thorough and was followed by moisturising and essential oils to reduce any redness that may occur. We discussed other services that he offered and I ended up adding a nostril wax (painless!) and a facial treatment (first time). All in all I left his little spa feeling like I had just come back from a 2 week holiday in Mykonos. The only downside is that now I have to budget to see him for massages on a regular basis because he is far better than you'd expect.
