Finally Body Tan is allowed to be open again.....😁 There are a few things different... I had to book a slot for tanning... However I prefer that way as no waiting around for a free bed... The cleanliness is excellent.... Nail area is screen provided and very safe both parties.... Sarah you have done yourself proud... Missed you my lovely 😁🤗💕

I've been using sunbeds over 12 years now. On recently moving to the area, I have been unable to find a decent one. Either too far, too expensive, unclean or old units and tubes (Did 1.5 hours course somewhere and was 2 shades whiter than my makeup!) Having joined the gym in Gosforth, I looked for somewhere close to there. This place came up, so I popped in. My first impression was it smelt clean. The friendly lady on reception was lovely to talk too. Very welcoming. (Apparently the owners Mum) The choice of courses was vast...prices may change from this post date, but I remember: £2.50 for 5 mins, books of 40 which I think was £15, then 120 for about £25. I chose 160 for £40, and there was even 250 for £60. (£15 an hours worth) Anyway, I chose the upright bed and was quickly surprised at the space of the changing area inside. There was a stool and bin, also paper towels, deodorant and perfume for both men and women, and some lovely coconut scented moisturiser in a dispenser!! Already this was a far more pleasant and enjoyable experience than anywhere else! The sunbed had a notice saying voted best, but I thought I'll be the judge!....and it was! It was a nice size with many tubes, the air came up from below, the heat was perfect and I actually felt relaxed, the music was clear and after using 15 minutes I have the best bronzed glow this morning whilst writing this review....much deeper than my recent 1.5 hours result!! But the thing that made it the most pleasant was how CLEAN it was. Standing bare footed, it was pristine. Not an ounce of 'previous user' body hair inside, not even blowing around. (It became apparent how common that has been at places I've used before.) I finished up, and to my relief I used the lotion and spray and went on my way. A very happy Customer I am. 😏
