Nails looked nice but they used the wrong UV gel machine to set my nails causing the streak marks to show. Nails started to fall over within the space of four days, had to go to an alternative nail salon to get them removed and redone. Mind you I have been wearing and maintaining acrylic nails since I was seventeen so I do know how to take care of them. The system is not efficient as they think it is. Getting three to four people to do your nails is not an great system and it causes inconsistencies as each nail technician has a method to get them done.

Went in on Saturday 2nd February 2019, first time there and made a decision to get my nails done last second. Went into Thorn's to try it out. I got gel acrylics which were £29. Was seated straight away, which was good, everything was going smoothly until he started to file my nails, right down to my cuticle and started pushing it down, with the file on! My thumb started to bleed, and he noticed this too coz he wiped the blood away and carried on doing what he was doing! He got the size coreeco, but when it came to shaping them, he messed my nails! They all ended up different shapes! I wanted almond nails to look natural, however the shaping was really bad! Had to swap the people around, which took like 10 minutes, even though none of the people were doing anything, only talking! Then when I was getting the acrylic polish on top, the lady kept getting up and done other things, whilst I was waiting there! Once I had them done, I went to choose the colour(s) I wanted, I waited half an hour for someone to paint my nails! I had two colours already chosen, but ppl that went in after me, got their nails done before me! I understand that they will run out of colours, so I chose a different colour! The colours were very pretty and I love the variety they had! I was in that shop for over an hour to get them done, which I do understand, however my nails turned out different shapes, and they left the sides of my nails uncolored! Is a lovely environment, and has such a great atmosphere! Some of the staff were really nice, smiling at their customers and getting everything done!

Found this place whilst visiting the area, large and clean premises. Loads of colours to pick from. The pedicure area is tucked away so you can relax in private whilst having your treatment. My therapist, Maelene was excellent, friendly and professional. Really enjoyed my pedicure.

Have been here a few times always had a great service , I did get my nails done yesterday bit did not like the colour the girl painting them was a bit off but e anyone gets bad days Espically working metrocenter hours went back today changed the colour no problem with no charge very happy like I normally am from them and my acrylics always last me up to 4 weeks roughly then I need in fills my nails do grow fast , very happy with service and my nails

Central nail bar in city which appears to be very busy much of the time with regular clientele on busy cornet site which is part of the building which was the first in the North East to display a black and white television in the window which caused crowds of gazers to block the pavement and road outside
