I have had a few waxing sessions here now and can honestly say it is brilliant and professional. Making the appointment was easily done via email, replies are very quick. Arriving, I am welcomed with a smile, showed into the room, where I am told what I need to do. I am put at ease and made comfortable very easily and quickly. The therapists are friendly, talkative and know what they are doing, very hygienic and no double dipping. Relatively pain free as long as you follow the care leading up to the session and the after care. Highly recommend.

I have been getting waxed at this place for several years now and I have never been disappointed. George is always helpful with booking me on short notice and his staff is always well trained and friendly. I like the online Payment system too that is very straight forward. On recently moving to the area I was very nervous about finding somewhere as good as my old waxing salon. I really shouldn't have worried in the slightest ...This place is just brilliant. It is so professional and friendly. Absolutely great service from the moment you arrive to an always warm welcome warm George, fantastic standard of waxing from the girls who are all so lovely, make you feel completely at ease and give great aftercare advice each time. Had my first ever professional back wax to get me ready for the summer. Very impressed. Previously used home wax strips or hair removal cream. So much better getting it done professionally. Really friendly place & nicely decorated. Very quick and surprisingly painless. I went based on my barber's recommendation, but it also seems to be the cheapest too. The lady who waxed me was very nice & gave good advice about aftercare. Also surprised at how clean my back felt after the waxing. No real residue left behind. Would definitely recommend

Went today and was treated by Ellie. The whole experience was wonderful and so easy. I emailed 2 days before and George responded 2 minutes later offering me an appointment! This was my first time and Ellie made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Waxing can be painful but Ellie made it as painless as she could. I had 3 treatments done and I was done in just under an hour. Was informed about everything that was happening, was informed about after care and asked if I had any questions. Wouldn't go anywhere else and have already reccomended to several people.

The staff was always very professional and friendly, and did their best to create a comfortable atmosphere for their costumers. It's obviously hard to make waxing an enjoyable experience, but I felt well taken care of throughout my appointments nonetheless. I highly recommend this studio, if one can afford their prices.

The saying goes that you don't know what you have till it's gone... recently moved away from Norwich and it's been a nightmare trying to find a salon with as excellent service as I've been used to from waxed works. From the moment you step through the doors it's a lovely experience. I miss the way the manager asks 'if everything was ok with your treatment' at the end and the fast, professional, efficient, treatment u get from the therapists. I've been a Waxed Works customer for over a year, and honestly wouldn't consider going anywhere else. What do you want from a waxer? Speed, efficiency and expertise, and that's what all the technicians have here. I've never had a bad reaction to a wax here, and appreciate their professionalism and service. George, the owner, is a delight to deal with, will go the extra mile to accommodate you, be flexible and is super efficient. He also clearly invests in his staff, and Toni's training makes sure that all the technicians are operating at a great standard. Equipment is bang up to date, clean and in great nick and the rooms themselves are discreet and comfortable. Bears repeating - I wouldn't go anywhere else. Nothing but great service.

Well, where do you start with a review of getting WAXED in NORWICH !! I have been visiting the salon for a few years now. George is always very quick to book me in for treatment. I had Sophie do a full body wax and cannot recommend highly enough. Absolutely professional throughout. I had a sensitive area on the back upper part of my leg so Sophie took extra extra care and used hot wax usually used for intimate areas. Nothing is to much bother for her. Are you thinking of getting waxed? Im not going to lie, there is some pain involved, but you wont find a better place than Waxed Works in Norwich.

I was a bit nervous for my first appointment but absolutely no need, I've never felt an ounce of embarrassment or uncomfortableness, this is a fab professional service and I wouldn't consider booking anywhere else.

Recently had my first intimate wax here and it went like a dream - not a nightmare as some people on YouTube would have you believe. The trick for me was being prepared up front, doing the research and making sure I was well prepared. Physically and mentally. Yes I was anxious - it was the great unknown, but not worried about being embarrassed or anything like that (too old!). No need to have worried as correspondence with George upfront prepared me for "the event" and the professionalism and personality of Ellie quickly got things off to a good start. We talked about nothing in particular for about 25 minutes (I am good at talking drivel so it came naturally to me :-) ) and before I knew it Ellie had finished. I did pop a few painkillers an hour before I arrived and can honestly say the whole process was virtually pain free. Not even as painful as pulling a plaster off. The end result is nice smooth skin and in my case, no "plucked chicken" effect. In fact everything was back to normal within a couple of hours. The next step was my wife finding out (I had forgotten to tell her - as you do), well the good news is that she was well impressed so I can keep my next session at the end of July. I cannot recommend Waxed Works highly enough! I have only recently moved to Norwich from London where I was a regular waxer and was very nervous about finding a new place to go. I need not have worried as Waxed Works is amazing and even a step up from what I'm used to! They are really friendly and helpful on the phone (don't be put off if a man answers, it's George the owner, who is lovely), the standard of waxing, cleanliness and professionalism is really high and I came away with as smooth skin as I can remember. I didn't suffer any breakages at all, which is amazing on its own, and I remained hair free for a lot longer than usual. I could go on, but don't take my word for it, give them a visit - you'll be really glad you did.

I urge anyone who loves the results of being waxed but hates the pain factor to attend an appointment here. I'm a wimp and hate pain however the peel able wax they used just pulls the hairs out not your skin. It's AMAZING! I will never go anywhere else ever again. I'm converted. Just got home and had a chance to have a look. I'm very impressed indeed and the results are a huge improvement over an epilator and can't even be compared to shaving! There is virtually no redness after only an hour and they feel very smooth. The girl who waxed me was very professional and done a superb job. So here’s the thing. People saying that the canx policy is harsh. Maybe, if your bus didn’t turn up or your car wouldn’t start and you couldn’t make it, that would be annoying. I used to live in Norwich and the amount of times I was over an hour late for work because of the buses I cannot count. However I think the risk of the above is worth it. There is literally nowhere else that does a decent wax to this standard. I live in Yorkshire and book in with WW every time I visit Norwich because I have never found anywhere else that does such a thorough and painless job.

Precise, delightfully personal, exceptional attention to detail, conspicuously excellent service. Far from the sparse white dentisty facade of so many other beauty haunts, Waxed Works has a venue reminiscent of a secret minimalist treehouse, perched neatly above Orford Hill moments from The Bell Hotel/Pub. George is the omnipotent ever friendly receptionist, Eleanor is a waxing savant who waxes with the delicate determined precision a trained assassin might use to take out an unruly butterfly. Far from slapstick, I have always left Waxed Works feeling less wooly mammoth/plucked chicken and more intricately hand painted victorian dolls house. Although I have been, ahem, "waxing" lyrical here...I cannot recommend Waxed Works enough. They really know their craft and I wouldn't go anywhere else in Norwich!
