I got my nails done on Monday the 28th and I got home and was not very pleased with them. I came back today and spoke to the manager who explained she’d be happy to re-do them. I’m very happy with the outcome and my nails are perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back again! 5* service and very accommodating.

I frequently visit this nail salon to get their signature gel pedicure. The salon itself is small and narrow and you do occasionally have to wait to be seated as they operate on a first come first serve basis, but the staff are really lovely and accomodating. The 'pedicure' section has massage chairs that helps you to relax further when having your feet done. I've always had my nails done really well and the intergrated foot mask and foot and leg massage leaves you with baby soft skin! It is good value for money and I will definately keep coming here.

probably the nicest and neatest sets i’ve gotten in nottingham. does not top london salons however. only disappointment was the fact that they talk about you to their colleagues very blatantly, which i find uncomfortable i wish they were more implicit with that😅 they also were very lacklustre with my boyfriend manicure, i could’ve honestly done a better job, his nails were all uneven as she didn’t think of it much, just wanted to make a quick tenner. i saw how carelessly she handled the manicure process, not sure if it was because he’s a man and they specialise in women’s nails? i thought manicure was same for everyone. would be 5 stars if staff had a bit more manners and looked like they actively cared.

They gave me the most long lasting and pretty looking nails I ever got in Nottingham. Truly great at artistry and meticulousness. Technicians are kind of rude though! I asked the lad doing my nails if I could hold one of his brushes so that I can feel what it feels like to hold a pencil for the right nail length. As I just held the brush without taking it from the rack asking « Can I hold this brush just to understand if this nail length is right for me? » he starts being super hostile and vulgar as if I actually grabbed it without asking him telling me I cannot absolutely under no circumstances hold his brush so he literally orders one of his coworkers to get me an actual pen to try it. I hadn’t questioned it much since now but can’t give 5 stars either.

Took longer than I expected..... One person removed my Gel, then I sat and waited for quite a while before another girl came to apply my next gel. When she did my cuticles I was bleeding a lot, I never normally bleed. It hurt but nothing was said, the nails were nice and have lasted well but I had scabs and blood around my nails for at least a week, good job I chose Red! The grazed areas hurt for a few days.

I went to the nail shop to get my nails done with a very complicated design. They were very good at replicating the design and also spent their time doing my nails even when they had to close they made sure that they got my nails done. While I was there I saw a customer be very very rude to the owner and the owner handled it very professionally and remain calm. A very good place to get your nails done and you will be looked after here. I definitely recommend it

Used to come here years ago, went today whilst I was in town. Got seated very quickly. The person doing my nails (full set acrylic) didn't want to listen to what I wanted. I showed him a picture of the shape and length I wanted, kept this picture on screen the entire time and he just wasn't getting it. He didn't want to cut them shorter, then because I said the shape wasn't right he decided to start aggressively filing. Whilst speaking to his colleagues the entire time, pointing to the picture (clearly annoyed). He then got up and left, I was sat for 10 minutes before my nails got painted by someone else who noticed I'd been sat a while. The shop wasn't busy, he instead went to do another customers nails with someone else (2 employees doing a hand each). Although my nails look nice... they aren't what I wanted. Its unlikely I will be coming back anytime soon.

Friendly staff who are skilled at their jobs. I broke one of my nails on a night out on the day they had been done, Unique happily repaired it free of charge even though it wasn't down to their workmanship! I will definitely be back for infills.

I had acrylic toe nails done here, although i was seen to straight away, I felt as if the service i received was rushed. The woman who did my toes took her time to actually start the process of filing my nails, applying the acrylic and re shaping them. It seemed as if she did not have the correct tools with her which led to her taking a long time gathering everything to actually start my nails. She also took time to talk to her colleagues which meant i was sitting there for extra long. I actually have a nail drill and acrylic powders/solutions at home and at the end of the service i knew i could have saved my money and did the same job at home for free and less messing around.

This is the best place for nails, they are all so hard working and we have been coming as a family for years. The pedicures are fantastic and whatever you want on acrylic nails is no problem, they are so accommodating. They have very high quality gel vanishes - they last a long time and are really rich colours. The owner is lovely and very conscientious. Today was especially nice as I met a newer member of staff Han who was chatty and gives the best massages! These ladies and gentleman work so hard and some of them have been there years and are very experienced. The prices are very reasonable to. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Today was my first time at Unique Nails. I have been to many nail bars across the UK and even a few in the US. I’ve never been too one quite like this one. For starters Dolly Parton has been and got her nails done in the shop. The nails are BRILLIANT, the service is tip top. Even for a busy Saturday, my nails were given the care and attention they deserved and look absolutely stunning. I’ll be a regular, thanks Unique Nails.

These are the best in Nottingham. I have been visiting them for the last 9 years for nail extensions, pedicures, tinting and eyelash extensions and have never had a bad experience. This is by far the best nail salon in Nottingham. I have used them for over 15 years & can honestly say the quality of the products used last & look fab. I know when stars play at the Nottingham Arena this is the salon they use ‘if it’s good enough for Dolly Parton, it must be good’!!

I went here for a pedicure, the staff were very quick to find me a seat and treated me like a valued customer even though it was my first visit. The woman who painted my nails was very kind and did an excellent job. She was even kind enough to plug my phone in for me when it died! The staff were all laughing and joking together which gave the place a friendly atmosphere. The prices are average for Nottingham so I cannot complain. They were not rushed like some other places, they took their time and made me feel welcome.

Everytime I come in here it’s always busy. The staff aren’t 100% friendly as my nails were under the fan and my thumb accidentally smudged about two times and the woman who was painting my nails told me she wasn’t going to repaint my nail if I smudged it again. Overall my nails were nice and I really liked them and lasted quite a long time.

Went here yesterday to have a full set. Came out somewhat happy. We'll start with the good: 1. price was OK (£33) 2. First technician was decent 3. I could smell food cooking in the back, smelt delicious. Now the bad: 1. First technician used his nail to push back my cuticle 🤐🤮🤮 2. Second technician was so dismissive & rough with my hands & sanded my cuticles, OUCH 3. I do nails you're supposed to have freshly mixed barbicide & a new file for each client. What they do is so unhygienic. 3. Once the acrylic has cured, they just YANK your skin from the bond...where they do that at?!! 4. Then the guy (deskkeeper??) said my nails were too long...OK so? I'll pay obviously, you're not wearing them be quiet. 5. I don't think they're trained in customer service at all. Some obviously weren't trained or certified in nails either.

No appointments means sometimes you have to wait. Pedicures are great. I have had good and bad experiences with acrylics - they can sometimes be a bit overzealous with prepping your nails which can leave them thin and brittle when you have them removed but this really depends on who does them! Ask for a loyalty card for an eventual discount

I am having my nails done here for over 6 months now. I've tried many salons in various UK locations but this one, I'm not planning to change any time soon. Staff is talented, well trained and pay great attention to detail. Sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge to make yourself understood in English but service wise, the place is excellent. I get the full set acryl construction and then maintenance. The end result looks natural, not chunky and well balanced with your hand shape. They offer 10% loyalty discounts on the 4th visit.

Yes they are good when it comes to nailart. But nailcare is poor. Far too many people to do one job. To top it off my nailbeds were ruined due to so much buffing and filing. On the surface looks good but sloppy work underneath. Won't be going back.
