M. Y.Want to say thank you to the team at Tao for providing an amazing experience back in July when I had my first ever waxing done and today again. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and on both occasions the girls that did the waxing were very professional and knew what they was doing.
They both gave privacy at the start and end and throughout kept asking if I was ok or needed anything and reassuring the whole time!
Today i was also able to make my appointment earlier and arrived early and he lady was waiting to start and didn't rush anything at all!
Thank you and will be coming here again for regular sessions!
C. R. A.I came to get my ears pierced today and I couldn't have asked for a better place! I was a bit nervous to find a place to get them done (as I'm a bit new to the area) but honestly my experience was 10/10! We shall see how they heal up but I am delighted with the service!
B. C.Absolutely fantastic experience here. Really clean, professional and kind women who know what they're doing, are happy to have a chat and have good reputable brands that they use and sell. I was served by Tilly who was really nice and chatty and really respectful. I knocked & bruised my knee a few hours before my session and she was really nice about it and made sure not to hurt it too much. She answered all my questions really - even when I repeated myself! All the women were easy to understand and there no barriers between anyone. Super convenient location and open every day so loads of availability!
The wax was really nice and didn't hurt as much as I expected it to be! I hadn't waxed in 4 months and honestly the wax powered through my leg hairs and now they're super smooth and clean.
Booked another appointment before I left and I'm genuinely excited to go back.

S.I've been using this salon for about 2 years now and anytime I've had to go somewhere else I've realised no ones else really compares. I've tried many of their treatments (eyebrows, facials, waxing, lashes) and all treatments have been a positive experience. TAO has a very clean (important!) and relaxing environment. The staff are very professional and friendly which makes all the difference. Would definitely recommend to a friend!
K. S.My daughter had her ears pierced here today. We turned up to find the door locked as I'd inadvertently got my appointment wrong and they'd already closed! Luckily the manager was still there, and seeing the look of disappointment on my daughter's face invited us in and let us keep the appointment. She was kind, friendly and took her time even though she should probably already have gone home. I hadn't visited Tao before but would definitely book again after my experience today. A. B.This is my favourite beauty salon in Oxford - really professional high quality treatments (my favourites are Zoe for gel nails and Carly for massage). They're usually busy so it's best to book but also always really happy to help you get a treatment at short notice.
W. P.Clean, professional and friendly. I had a back massage with almond oil, which was very relaxing. Didn't like though that for the last 5 minutes the oil dried out, so it became a bit uncomfortable.

N. O.I was a little nervous before my HD 'My Brow' eyebrow appointment as i'd never had much more than threading done. I was particularly worried about them ending up too dark! However, the girl who did them (sorry don't know her name) was lovely and put me at ease. She trialled me with a lighter tint building it up a couple of times to get the right colour. The end result after the tinting, waxing and threading was great. Very pleased and will be going back!
