Nail Design deserves more than just 5 stars! They have great service. I was expecting to wait for a while because they were so busy when I arrived for my appointment, but they didn't. They are quick and accommodate me right away. They are also really welcoming. Plus, the place is clean. They have skillful nail techs and also provide high-quality products. My nails were done beautifully! Highly recommend!!!

She made the exact design that I asked for! It was my first visit to this salon, and I was pleasantly amazed. Normally, I don't enjoy having powder on my nails since it always comes out thick but he did a fairly decent job. Although I paid a little bit more for the pedicure than I usually do, I believe it was well worth it. Good salon! I’ll be back.

Best nail salon I’ve ever been to! I had the best experience here since the very first day I found this place. Their deluxe pedicure is fantastic, and my nails are always done beautifully! When I visit Nail Design, my nails always look fantastic! Every time I have a dip manicure here, it easily lasts three weeks and never crumbles. To avoid ever having to wait, I usually phone the day before to arrange an appointment, and it has actually worked great for me. Although all of them are talented, Lee is my favourite nail tech there. Plus, the decor is pretty and the atmosphere is always relaxing, I really enjoy that.

We all had a wonderful time. They treated us with respect and made us feel at home. The pedicure technician even gave me a foot massage when doing the pedicure. And the gel polish stays intact for a long time! I recommend making appointments but they also accept walk-ins as well. This place is great! I’m really pleased!

I've been looking for a salon that can fulfill all my desires. And I believe I have found my place - Nail Design. The people here are really kind and did exactly what I requested. I had acrylic with nail art, and they looked perfect for three weeks. I suppose they may have lasted longer, but I prefer to have them changed frequently to keep them looking new. I'm quite excited about my next visit, which is tomorrow. The salon is also very clean and peaceful, and I could need a pedicure.

Nothing except good things to say about this salon! I arrived on Friday’s morning to get some nail art with acrylics. I took a seat immediately and told my nail tech the art I want for my nails. I and Liz have our nails done here every week. The staff are friendly, and this place is nice. When I go there, I'm generally exhausted, and they let me sit and relax. The shellac manicure is the best I've found in the city, and the manicure is flawless. I have never requested them to perform something atypical, but for a typical manicure, they are well-done and turned out beautiful. Overall satisfied, and I will support Nail Design for a long time!

Everything I could ask for in a nail salon is here: it's simple to schedule, at a fantastic location, with helpful staff, and it has a really fresh vibe. Whether you want a basic polish change or a complete spa pedicure, they have a lot of staff and chairs available. The people are really attentive, and this is the first time a gel manicure hasn't caused my cuticles to start peeling, which means they did a good job sticking it down. I highly recommend this place.

My acrylic nails still look fantastic four weeks after my visit to Nail Design. I've never had polish, gel, acrylic, or another product last that long! My gel usually starts to peel or chip after a week or so, but not this time! Additionally, the people were incredibly kind! I'll definitely return and bring my friends here in this lovely salon.♥️♥️

I had a great experience yesterday at Nail Design. I've never had nail art done before so I wanted to give it a try. I found Nail Design after searching nail salons on Google. I made a call to make an appointment, and when I came there at the appointed time, I was taken care of right away. When I showed Mai the image I like on Twitter, she made the perfect replica of it for me🥰! She was really kind and let me know what she was going to do with my nails. I'd heard a lot of good things about this spa, so I decided to go there yesterday. It was a great experience from beginning to end, and by the time I left, I was even laughing with the staff. Despite being quite busy, they managed to squeeze me in for a mani/pedi even though I didn't have an appointment. Lee was my nail technician, and she did a fantastic job. I gave her a 30% tip since she was able to make my acrylics precisely the form and colour I had hoped for. I had a fantastic pedicure as well, and I have no problems at all. I would absolutely recommend giving it another go if you've had a negative experience here before. This will be my go-to spot! Definitely deserving of 5 stars!

I recently relocated to Peterborough, and this location is wonderful. I walked in and had been treated right away even though the salon was packed and the staff were all busy. In comparison to other salons I've gone to, this place was spotless and bright, and they were better at arranging too. I had a simultaneous mani and pedi, which was efficient. John provided a wonderful foot massage while doing my pedicure, which was really soothing. The cost was likewise affordable and the employees were really polite. I first contacted this place when I was in the area to see if they could fit me in for a mani-pedi in 20 minutes. On the phone, they were extremely professional and invited me to visit straight away. What a delightful surprise that I found this little cute salon in Queensgate shopping centre with nice décor and relaxing atmosphere. Everyone I met was really kind and welcoming, and they made me feel like a long-time customer. While Thi took care of my feet and massaged my lower legs, Mia gave me a fantastic manicure. Very poor service and quality. The girl who did my nails barely said two words to me, couldn’t find the colour I wanted, then painted the next colour on really thick, all over my skin and then once topcoat had been applied and set under the lamp files the sides of my nails in some attempt to remove some of the polish. When I went to pay she said just put the money on the counter and walked out of the salon. I went back in to get some of the polish on my skin removed but on getting home and having a proper look the finish is horrendous (pics below). Will go back tomorrow morning to see if someone will remove and reapply, in which case I might increase the rating but at present definitely would NOT recommend. Also the cuticle oil smells horrible and stale. ** UPDATED** I returned the next day and the manager removed and repainted my nails for me in a colour slightly closer to the one I had originally asked for, though she did feel the need to chide me for not checking the colour was what I wanted at the start, despite my explaining the situation re: the colour they have a swatch for but do not yet have in stock. I kept having to reiterate that it wasn’t the colour that was the issue it was the terrible application. I’ve increased it to 3 stars as in the end my nails looked okay, but I did have to get them done twice before that was the case. So use at your own risk - think maybe their acrylic service might be better(?)

I do not feel that the staff mean to come across as rude but more that that is the way in which the salon is run. Speedy sales in and out service. Quite direct but efficient if you don't mind the language barrier. For me it worked. I needed something fast and to look pretty for a couple of weeks. For someone who wants more of a relaxed atmosphere I would suggest booking in with a individual technician who does nails for a living and would be more likely to supply that personal one on one experience. My personal opinions is The nail technicians are there to do the Nails and get paid not for it and nothing more. It is most definitely a speedy service . If that works for you then I would recommend however if you are after a chat, a cup of tea and a relaxed atmosphere then you should book elsewhere as I feel here you would be disappointed . Most certainly can feel slightly intimidating if you haven't been before

Always get great nails from this place, however some of the staff members are very rude, they won't speak, they get impatient and make you feel uncomfortable.. Whilst getting my nails done the atmosphere is always tense which makes me tense and non relaxed therefore my arm and my hands aren't either - when this happens they just pull and twist your arm and fingers into position where they want it, no pleae could you they just do it which I fins very rude and sometimes painful...Kept going back Incase it was a one off however got bad service every time - if they can treat other customers well whilst I'm in there why not treat me the same?
