I really like this place. I've had shellac done here 3 times and each time I've been happy with the result. I think they are very reasonably priced. The staff are quite friendly. The only complaint I have is that when it gets busy in there they will switch staff during your appointment. Meaning you'll start with one person doing your nails and end up with someone else entirely finishing them. It's not ideal really because it ends up being quite rushed. But overall, I've been happy with the colours and application. I would recommend this place.

Regular Acrylic Nails Customer - Been coming for years. Always an amazing service and friendly staff. Attention to detail and nothing is ever too much trouble. Today I added a pedicure to my normal monthly nails and I couldn’t be happier with both treatments.

Best nail place in reading. My shellac lasts forever. Tracey and Hannah are always o good and the removal of old shellac doesn't feel uncomfortable/burn like in many other places. Really reasonably priced and staff super friendly

i have had my nails done in many different countries before. i must say i always have the best manicure and pedicure here. i feel quite lucky knowing this place. i like how they are very careful with cleaning the chair, screen, table and all the tools after each customer. they also use a lot off disposal nail files and buffer. Having been to a fair few other nail salons, I can honestly say this one is the best. Even the little things like having the hot cloth to cleanse your hands (haven’t had this elsewhere, they usually ask you to wash hands in sink) and being offered a lovely cup of tea. They listen to what you want and deliver on it. They re friendly and honest with how long to wait. I’ll be coming back.

Cash or BACS transfer only. Friendly staff, good service. Clean environment and not too busy. There can sometimes be a bit of a delay but other than that, really good. They always try to accommodate walk ins.

I have just paid my first visit to planet nails,a young man Called David did my Acrylics,a he was very polite and very gentle. We had a very good chat throughout the one hour visit,and yes everyone chats to each other and clients chat to each other. Take the bad reviews with a pinch of salt,it would be very boring if no one spoke to each other . When you visit a salon the stylists talk to each other ,so its just the same as planet nails,enjoy the atmosphere and chill out Yes there are bits and bobs of nail clippings and bits of dust,WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ITS A BUSY PLACE.. Hair salons have hair alover, DEAL WITH IT. Every body works hard and they are all very pleasant to all there clients and regular clients are spoken to in first name terms which is very friendly. Looking forward to my next visit,I would highly recommend Planet Nails my French polish Acrylics look fabulous.

I have been going to planet nails religiously for a year and a half now for SNS and wouldnt go anywhere else. They always do a fab job and i constantly get compliments on my nails! Plus the staff are lovely and welcoming. Ignore the bad reviews you cant please everyone!

I don't think the negative remarks are valid. it is difficult to please everyone. I love having my nails done here. It is always really busy (enough said) and I have met some really nice people on my visits.

Pink and white acrylic tips beautifully applied at a more than fair price. Many nail technicians pay little attention to creating a flattering curve to the nail bed but Planet Nails in CAVERSHAM do.

When I got my nails painted on a number of occasions here I have had the same problem where the paint chips off by the next day and it isnt just me who has this problem as I know my friends have also had this problem from planet nails however for any patterns , manicure or pedicure there absolutely fab!
