I had my first sugaring experience today with Ali and it was great! I was immediately at ease and felt comfortable with Ali and her calming presence. She was knowledgable and the attention to detail was great - even with those stubborn hairs! The process was explained step by step and it was so much less painful than ‘traditional’ waxing. I will definitely be back to continue my sugaring journey, thank you Ali! ☺️

Absolutely will recommend Sugaring by Ali to anyone! Was my first ever body hair removal, and it was way less painful than I previously thought. Not painless but also not painful, so if you ever thought about give it a go! You will be pleasantly surprised. There is some parking space and Ali send me a text before with detailed instructions how to locate the place.

Ali, firstly my apologies it has taken me so long to write this review following my sugaring, I have been insanely busy but my experience with you was so positive, I was determined to take my time and write a proper review rather than rushing. Premises: My experience was excellent, the premises was hygienic, comfortable and clean, with off-site parking on a nearby road. The therapist: Ali herself is so professional, patient, polite and thorough. She takes pride in her work and sugared my legs, underarms and bikini line, quickly, painlessly, efficiently and paid so much attention to detail. The sugaring itself was not very painful, far less painful than waxing and it actually felt kind of good as I felt I was getting an exfoliating treatment too! The results: The most important bit! It's been about 3 weeks since my appointment and my legs are still relatively smooth! I am a very very hairy asian lady and haven't ever seen such longevity with waxing or shaving, so for me this is a game changer! I'm absolutely delighted with my results and don't think I can ever go back to waxing or shaving again! Would I recommend? Absolutely. I rate Ali's business a 10/10 for professionalism, value for money and delivering outstanding results. I live in Slough but the journey to Reading to receive this service is undoubtedly worth it! I booked in for a facial but felt like I had a spa day! The facial was amazing but Alison also included a face, neck, shoulder and arm massage whilst the mask was setting. It felt such a luxurious experience and my face is now glowing. Will definitely be booking in for regular facials! Can’t recommend Alison enough.

Ali is amazing. She did sugaring for both mine and my 13yr old daughter. She put Lily completely at ease and sugaring is so much safer than waxing and shaving. Our legs have less hair regrowth and no ingrowing hairs at all. Highly, highly recommend!!!!!!!

Absolutely brilliant! Ali is so lovely and puts you right at ease with the wax being very thorough and checking with you before finishing to make sure you're happy. The room is clean and relaxing and the wax was the least painful I’ve ever had! Would 100% recommend

I accidentally found Alison when planning to visit a client close to her - I don’t live anywhere near Reading - but I’m beyond ecstatic I found this lovely, genuine, down to earth yet professional sugaring therapist! 😊 I normally get hot waxed but for medical reasons (sensitive skin) needed to find a less intensive way of achieving the same results. A quick Google search suggested sugaring was the way to go and another click or two led me to this gorgeous soul 🙏 Ali made sure I was comfortable at all times and super attentive with what and how she was doing things plus we got on like a house on fire, having a good ol’ natter as if we’d known each other already! 😀 I can’t recommend Alison highly enough so if you’re in the Reading area OR NOT, you REALLY should do your body & mind the best favour and seek her out! 😇 Ali’s place is conveniently only 2-3 minutes off J11 on the M4 and there’s free parking directly outside! Believe me, for someone who travels as much as I do, this added convenience is truly a bonus! 🙏 Her treatment room is newly built, professional, clean, fresh, warm and with bathroom facilities 👍 .. Also, on a very personal side note. I needed diesel, a post office, a Hermes agent (to return an Amazon parcel that’d been rattling around in my car for days!) plus grab a sandwich & drink so you’ll never guess that ALL OF THESE THINGS are on one site less than a minute’s drive from Alison! 😀 Remember, I’m not a local, so chancing on this was like the best day out, ever! 😂 .. I have had 4 sessions of scenar therapy with Ali in the past couple of weeks and its been a revelation. Following a severe shoulder break last summer I have been having a lot of physio to help with the repair. The healing can be painful so my wife booked a session with Ali and i have been really impressed with the results, not only has the pain noticeably subsided but we have also been able to fix old sports injury's that I have just got used too. The most noticeable was the work we did on my hip and glute where I have had minor sciatica for some time, one session and I had full mobility in this area. I highly recommend this as complimentary therapy for both healing and pain management.
