Today, after many years of neglecting my make up routine, I popped over to the benefits counter in the John Lewis store, where I spoke to Cassie and I'm so glad I did. I've always loved the benefit make up and already use some of their products. However, I have found that my make up routine needed updating. I'm going to a wedding tomorrow and I wanted to look good. I asked about the eyebrow product they have and Cassie informed me they also do brow waxing. I usually get mine threaded but I was happy to try; my next stop was the brow counter in the West Quay anyway. She checked her availability and I was lucky to catch an appointment in 15 minutes. I asked Cassie how they do waxing and she mapped my brows and tried some brow products on me. This put me at ease. When the wax appointment started, Cassie offered me an under eye cooling treatment mask, while I was getting my eyebrows waxed and I went for it. I'm a mum of two and I felt like this was a perfect opportunity to get some pampering in as well. Cassie was gentle, she didn't rush me in any way and she took her time doing my eyebrows. I told her about the wedding and how I feel a bit lost with make up these days. I was looking for something to make my skin looking good. Cassie said she'll show me some products after the wax. Once the wax was finished, I sat on the chair and Cassie tried some products on me. She was so nice and attentive. I felt at ease with her as she was genuinely trying to help me find something that was suitable for me. I wish I did this sooner. I feel more excited now about doing my make up tomorrow than wearing my pretty dress to the wedding. Ha, ha! I would highly recommend you pop over to the benefits counter and try some of their products. Thank you Cassie! You are an absolute star and you made my day today. XX

Went to Benefits makeup section in John Lewis, Southampton as we were looking at getting some new makeup. We don't use makeup very often so was looking at learning about what products to use and getting a natural effect. I was served by Cassie, we tried some makeup on and she explained everything she was doing and why we were using the products. She was very helpful and done a great job of achieving a natural makeup look. Very happy with our whole experience, with great staff and great products

Benefit has always had fab service along with its great products. Today however was exemplary. I was greeted by Emma who made me feel comfortable throughout, talked me through the products she was using and at no point made me feel under pressure to have a certain look or buy various products. Becky was inspirational; she showed me new and interesting ways to use different products. I made an enquiry with Becky back in January about having a trial run of my wedding makeup. I explained that I planned to have her or another member of staff apply make up from her counter, while my maid of honour took notes on how to apply it all and in turn I’d purchase any appropriate products she used. She was so helpful and gave me a list of available dates she could do. Yesterday I returned with my bridal party and we had an absolute blast. Becky was so friendly and charming we wish she could have done the makeup on the day. She did a brilliant job and I was so pleased with the results I tried replicating it myself today with all the products I bought. My attempt was nowhere near as good unfortunately. I also had my eyebrows waxed and tinted ahead of the big day, something I hadn’t considered. The effects are brilliant I might keep up with the tinting, as this is not something I’ve had before but looks fab. I’d strongly recommend using benefit products for everyday use but if your like me and you want to find a way to keep the look you had on your wedding day, this is by far the best way. Thank you ladies for making me look and feel so beautiful 🤩

Dropped by with friends on Saturday at the benefits stand in John Lewis Southampton and was greeted by a lovely young lady called Scarlett. Not only was she very knowledgeable and helpful but also very friendly and cheerful. I came away with makeup that I never thought would suit me and since wearing it, I have had lots of compliments saying how well I look. Scarlett was brilliant, did a full face of make up and managed to blend eye shadow with eyebrow tint brushes as they didn’t have brushes because of Covid. They used disposable sponges for the rest. Brilliant job and I would recommend her any day.

I regularly use benefit brow bar and I am always impressed with the standard. West Quay is now my new local and this was my third visit. Scarlett was polite, meticulous, considerate and friendly. Really good! I came in looking for some good waterproof mascara and Michelle very kindly showed me a really good one! She also showed me a really good primer and brow gel which I am definitely planing on buying in the future! She was very nice and answered all my questions and applied my makeup really well, and everything was super covid safe as they did track and trace and also sanitised everything. Loved it, will definitely be back to buy the primer and the brow gel in the future!

She showed me how great the new benefit mascara is , 'their real Magnet '( i usually get big bang girl ) i mentioned although dark and lots of eyebrow , i have grey hairs .
