Beautiful gel nails painted by Yvonne who kindly fitted me in at short notice. A lovely little place with really friendly, welcoming staff and today sausage dogs and gorgeous sleepy babies...a little haven! Late to the party having my nails professionally done and will definitely be back!

went here for my first piercing , i was very scared but the lovely workers here let me pet the dog that was there . her name is coco 😭😭 shes adorable anyway my piercing is healing great and the jewellery looks stunning 😍😍

Omg where do I start. Haley from Holey Moley piercing made me cry, cry with HAPPINESS. I had a consultation with her today regarding wether I could have my boy button pierced or not. I had it done in my 30s nd loved it but due to health problems etc and an accident where I got my original belly bar stuck and was pulled out and putting over 8st of weight on, I promised myself I'd lose the weight and get My belly button pierced again. My concern was the excess loose skin I had after loosing 8st 10lbs. But Haley said 'YES' I can have it done. My dream was to get to my target weight(DONE), get my belly button pierced(DONE). Haley was so welcoming and made me feel so relaxed. I never even felt it. I'm over the moon I really am and I've even re-booked to get my nose pierced lol. My dream was fulfilled today and I can't thank Haley enough. I highly recommend this little gem of a business in Haxby. Thanks Haley. Lizzie xx

I have been coming to Violets for two years now after a recommendation from a friend. Everyone is SO friendly, so welcoming & so professional. I have had various services including acrylics, gels, hybrid lashes, lash lift, eyebrow thread & tint, eyebrow lamination, facial, & a few piercings. I was and remain happy with all my services I have had here. I recommend to everyone!

this was ABSALOUTLY outstanding. The people are SO nice and let me stroke their itty bitty dogs. They are so cute 😍

Very friendly and welcoming. Also very refreshing to go to a salon where things are a little bit alternative to what most other salons offer! Here you can go in looking the same as everyone else and leave with amazing, bright happy hair! Could even follow that a sparkly new set of nails, some amazing henna or a sneaky piercing if you're feeling brave! We discussed well before my appointment about what I wanted and how achievable it was. Had a patch and strand test before my appointment as expected. My hair was nice and blonde on the ends but slightly brassy further up so as everyone (should) knows you need a very light blonde for bright/pastel colours to take properly. So we lightened the ends up and got to work! My hair was a bit stubborn on the day but Demi would not be defeated and kept at it until we reached where we wanted to be! Keep doing what you're doing team! Will definitely be going back!

Hayley was an absolute gem sorting my painful ear piercing (done elsewhere). She replaced the pain-causing stud with a beautiful sparkly one with a flat back. It's the first good night's sleep I've had in six months! Can't speak highly enough of her! So warm, relaxed and welcoming - thank you!

Thanks to Hayley for making my 9 year old daughter really relaxed and calm when having her ears pierced for the first time. Everything was explained very clearly before and after. Would strongly recommend coming here for piercings.
