Great trails and facilities! Coming from Sweden there's no place like this (excluding lift accessed parks). Hire bike was good for most of the trails but a bit sketchy on the blacks. Will come back for sure!

The facilities available are really good, I can't fault the service from the bike hire shop. We helped another person on the trail and gave him our spare inner tube, he was also on a hire bike and the shop gave us one in the return at the end of the day. I had a great day on the ebike and managed 3 runs of the red route.

I can't fault the service that I received from Beics Brenin, from my very first booking, to handing the bike back after a fantastic afternoon on the trails.I made an initial booking over a year ago but had to cancel it due to health issues. Beics Brenin very kindly offered to keep the booking open for me until I was ready to use it again (this gave me a much needed incentive along the way).When I was ready to rebook, the process was flawless and Barry (I think it was) helped me complete the process once again.Received an email a few days before I was due to collect the bike telling me everything I needed to know. Collected the bike and was given a helpful 'do this, do that' guide to get the best out of the bike.The bike itself was brilliant and allowed me to totally enjoy the trails. I had a mile wide grin as I handed the bike back.As I say, I can't fault the service and will happily recommend them to anyone who wants to know.

A well known and trusted MB centre. It does not let you down and has facilities for all standards as well as walkers, runners and mobility scooters. My three boys were all well catered for and the bike hire is good value.

Coed y Brenin is definitely the best trail centre in the UK and the bike shop is a fitting addition. Obviously everything is at full retail price but all the kit is top quality. Bike rental is good too.

Fancied a go at mountain biking as it had been a while and Coed Y Brenin has some of the best trails in North Wales so I rented a bike from here. It was a really nice 2021 Trek full suspension bike which I also rented spd pedals with. Check out and check in was quick, all conducted outside at a safe distance, with a quick bike fit to begin. The bike was faultless and survived my attempt at the black run, or rather it helped me survive! 10/10 would do again. Might even try one of those electric mtb's!

Great place to mountain bike, trail run or walk. Loads of different trails for all abilities. The cafe serves good food and hot drinks. There is a good trail running shop. And a very good hire bike and repair shop on sight.

Great bike hire shop situated at Coed y Brenin Forrest in North Wales. This place has some of the best mountain bike trails I've seen. From easy family friendly green and blue runs, to challenging red and extreme black runs. Also includes a skills training area.

Super shop! Up to match the Super riding place that Coed y Brenin is ! Much more than decent rental equipment and a lots of it ! Went there last bank holiday no reservation , no problem ! Still a plenty of bikes & sizes available. We could not swap to "continental" brake set up on the big bikes ( no time for bleeding ... just riding! ) but the ULTRA LIGHT & disc brake kids bike for my son was kindly swapped just after he tryed, and faceplanted, with the UK set up !

I don't know of another place where you can rent a bike on the site of such an incredible bike park. the young lad who prepared my bike was very helpful and gave me lots of tips. Also showed me some basics on the ebike which i hadn't used before. Bikes in perfect condition. Trails incredibly well signposted and fun. Everything very covid-safe and wel-organised. Go - you won't regret it.

Great first visit to this centre when on holiday this week. I hired a full suspension bike to try out, really pleased how easy it was and also followed recommendation to try out some of the blue routes. A great few hours and a couple of laps, can’t wait to go again, only downside was the cafe was closed, however we drove to Barmouth had a brew, checked out the beach and saw the lifeboat come back in and the sunset - bonus!

Booking online was easy. The bikes might be expensive but are definitely good quality and my body was very grateful for the extra suspension theirs provided! The trails were good fun - the moderate blue was easily challenging enough for my daredevil teens but the green enough to coax a terrified one down (as the tiny tot on her bike overtook us). All wanted to return.

Fantastic place for an adventure. The hire bikes were great value, well maintained and let us have a full day of fun riding. The variety of sections and the way they overlap made it easy to construct routes that suited both of us, which I really appreciate as I only mountain bike occasionally. The new extra loop on the Blue route was very enjoyable and back at the centre we enjoyed good food and beautiful forest all around. Dreamtime section is still (obviously) the best!

Absolutely loved our day! The bikes were brilliant, absolutely no problems at all. There is a shop too to purchase anything incase you forget things like gloves etc. The trails were mega easy to navigate as there was signs everywhere! Unlike other trails I've been on. I really like the fact the loops start and end at the toilets & cafe. We did the blue trail and it was brilliant for people who are getting into mountain biking.

The trails are brilliant and the staff friendly. I recently hired the new Specialized Turbo Levo E-Bike. The new range of bikes are amazing! Simple to operate and If you pedal efficiently the battery will last well into 4 hours of riding. Hiring the bike was quick and simple and Joe took the time to make sure the bike was set up correctly for me which gave me a lot of confidence on a new bike. Joe and all the guys at Beics Brenin and Summit Cycles are friendly, knowledgable and helpful. They make you feel like nothing is too much. A great example of a local bike shop; the bikes are great quality, the product range is well stocked and the service is always 10/10.

Great bike shop, I have used for 13 years+ it since it was the old shop under the restaurant and now since the move it is bigger and better, essential for all us riders who forget gloves, shoes, bikes! yes some forget bikes. Anyway, one issue I had was with a poorly prepped hire bike from them, but in there defense they gave me a credit note for my next hire. Albeit i still haven't used the credit note, been using my own bikes instead. The trails are awesome and always make us smile, the kids are also getting into the Coed y Brenin way of life and my lad has been practicing on the rider test area/training area and he loved it!

Don’t miss this magical place if you’re in Wales! The site has idyllic biking trails, and the quality and service of the bike rentals surpassed my expectations. The whole family was equipped with high quality trek mountain bikes that made the trails easy and fun to enjoy. The site also has great hiking, nice children’s playground and cafe better than most. Also features a nice bike shop, running shop and gift shop. In good weather you could easily spend the whole day here. “Easy” bike trail (blue) took 2.5 hours and wore the kids out but we’d do it again in a heartbeat. (You can shorten the ride as much as you want).

Great service. Was given perfect advice about my family starting on the blue route but opted to start on the easy green route. Should have taken the advice. When we finally decided to take the blue track it was none stop fun. Hired the cheapest bikes and was a bit worried big bloke. Don't turn up with a knackered bike and expect them to perform miracles on a busy weekend. Make sure your bike is in good working order before you come to CyB. I can recommend the Beics Brenin bicycle store at Coed y Brenin without hesitation. I have rented eMTBs several times during the last couple of years and enjoyed superb trails such as the Dragons Back or the Beast. The Trek eMTBs are always the latest models and of high quality. Never had an issue with them. Staff is helpful and courteous. Rental prices are a little high but considering total value this is ok. Room for improvement: Provide opportunity to swap an empty battery. After 3 hrs the battery is empty and a whole day bike rental becomes questionable.

This place is far more than just the bike rental I was expecting, there are loads of fantastic trails to go on starting at the activity centre, plenty of other facilities back at the start too such as toilets and a cafe. The staff were friendly and helpful, I can't wait to go back!

Haben mir den Urlaub gerettet! Während meines Urlaubs Wales mit meinem Mountainbike ist mir die Bremse defekt gegangen. Nach Anfrage und Terminvereinbarung per Email wurde die komplette Bremsanlage innerhalb 1 Stunde ausgetauscht, zu einem fairen Preis! Echt super, dass die passenden Komponenten von SRAM direkt vorhanden waren. Sehr kompetentes, freundliches Personal.
