I've only recently discovered The Green Bicycle Company and i'm glad I did. Karl is a gentleman and has done brilliant work servicing and repairing bikes for me recently and even gave my old Giant MTB a new lease of life after a serious crash nearly finished it off a few years ago. I definitely recommend taking your bikes to him for service and repair works. Skip the chain stores and support the local independents. You'll get a better and more personal service.

Could not recommend Karl more highly! Karl helped me out with some gear and cabling issues I've been having on my road bike, things that were beyond my technical abilities. Couldn't have had a better experience with The Green Bicycle Co... Karl was super quick to respond and is clearly incredibly skilled and knowledgeable about bikes. He refurbished my very very old bike in no time at all with great attention to detail, and the aftercare when I had a small problem(through no fault of his - just me and my really old bike) was second to none - he went over and above to help me. From sourcing specialised parts to giving careful advice on what would be needed I couldn't think of anyone better to recommend if you need anything bicycle related. I've had my bike serviced before at the big, well know chains and you just couldn't compare the level of service, quality and expertise. Would give 10 stars if I could! Thank you SO much Karl!

Karl is a top guy. Was quoted 4-6 weeks lead time for getting my road bike serviced at 3 or 4 different places. Karl responded to my email in a day and told me to bring my bike that Saturday. Picked it up fully serviced on the Tuesday morning. Deep clean, brakes fixed, new gear cables etc. Took it for a spin tonight and it felt like a new bike again. Would definitely recommend using him. Knows his stuff, well priced, quality work and quick response time.

Karl is a very interesting guy and an expert craftsman with a bike. He sorted out my racing bike with a new drive chain, cleaned it up to an extremely high standard too. Would recommend karl to anybody that's in need of there bike being fixed. At first I thought I was going to need to get a new road bike but karl did a full service and fixed everything that was wrong with the bike for a great price. Had a chat with him after collecting the bike and he explained in full detail all what he fixed. First cycle out on it today and it felt like a brand new bike. Thanks very much karl.

Excellent service. I had asked another bike shop beside where I live to repair my bike and they said it was not worth fixing. Karl was quick to respond and picked my bike up the next day. Really reasonably priced too!!!! Highly recommend.

I just bought a used hybrid bike and decided to get it serviced. The GBC got the gig. I must say I am well pleased with the thoroughness and quality of the work done, and at a very reasonable cost. What I also liked was the attitude of Karl, he takes time to engage with you, giving advice and what not. He gets a high recommendation. Well done GBC!
