I was recommended by a friend and I took my Kona to Steve after snapping my derailleur, bending my rear wheel and snapping my chain. Immediately I sensed an air of professionalism in Steve that you don’t see in most bike mechanics! I left the bike in his capable hands and he has returned it to me in such an immaculate condition with many more finishing touches and upgrades that has made my ride so much better. Bike drop off and collection is made so much easier with Steve as his flexible approach Works around your lifestyle! Can’t recommend you high enough, I know I’ll be returning for your top-notch work!

I dropped my Cervelo P5 off for a pre race bike service, in a bit of a mess after an accident and having other mechanics work on it… there were a few problems with it all of which Steve managed to resolve. When I got it back it was riding so smoothly… I think I got back 30 watts which was a massive for the race. Unbelievable job literally everything was perfect. I won’t be using any other mechanics again!!

Steve Hassell is an true expert in his field. My son races BMX and mountain bikes, Steve knows everything there is to know about both. He is extremely competitively priced. If it’s been urgent, he has never failed to fix mine or my sons bikes in time. He is a complete perfectionist and I wouldn’t consider the thought of anyone else fixing our bikes now.

I contacted Superior Velo Tech very last minute due to having an event to ride, Superior Velo Tech fitted me in with short notice and completed the work with outstanding precision and attention to detail. Very polite man and talks you through everything that has been done. Nice to chat to the person that worked on your bike! Having had work done on my bike by a previous!company that was awful, I was reluctant to trust anyone else with my road bike but can 100% recommend this guy.

I am completely satisfied and delighted with the service and works carried out on my bike. Stephen goes over and above what one expects dealing with every detail. This bike had been in storage and was tired needing special attention. Stephen kept me informed every step of the way. Odd as this sounds, the bike is set up now better than when I acquired it new! Riding it was the true test and it performs and rides beautifully. I recommend this service if you want more than just a basic service, Stephen now has a second bike of mine and I will rotate others to ensure they are the best they can be.

Steve found repair parts from several sources including overseas in order to complete the repairs, which he did to such high standards.
