Great coffee and the food menu is way more exciting compared to other coffee shops. Had the breakfast burrito today (without tortilla, I know I’m weird) and it was SO GOOD! Friendly service and chilled vibes. I feel lucky to live so close to this place.

Came in with my daughter and dad yesterday and had the best cappuccino I have had in a long time! We shared the Kim-cheese toastie and Turkish eggs, it was amazing, will definitely be returning ASAP! Even though they were so busy the man at the till (Keith?) happily catered for my allergies, and the waitress was lovely enough to explain to my little girl (5) what a babychino was and now all she wants is plaits to match her. Only downfall would be the unsteady tables but overall we loved it and will be returning in a hurry!

What a great find and extremely friendly and helpful staff. I was visiting from Vancouver and dropped by for coffee and help with my bike. The cappuccino was the best I’ve had in the UK and the guy that helped with the bike, Mike(?) was most helpful hunting for a part for me. Top location.

Wicked coffee, went for the Guatemalan V60. Made very well might even try to pinch the recipe. Fresh selection of beers and bags of coffee to take home. The bike shop itself looked the absolute kit but wasn't being used whilst I was there - loved seeing the Tifosi hanging from the ceiling and the rest of the kit.

This is a fusion between cycle shop and cafe serving freshly made healthy food. The cook is happy to make you something you can eat if you have any special dietary requirements and gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian options are on the everyday menu. The music is just right and still allows you to have a conversation and the staff are pleasant, competent and friendly. I can thoroughly recommend this.

Really cool vibe here. Service, food, coffee and music all cool. The breakfast burrito and pancakes were great as was the banana lassi. Oh, and its a top bike shop too! Definitely a place to get to for brunch.

Excellent service from the bike repair team! Brought my Carbon road bike in - the team performed a very comprehensive service and even picked up on, and repaired some issues that I was not aware off! Bike is running better than every now. Best coffee on the high street as well :)

I've been eating here since it opened, and the food, coffee and service is always fantastic. I've just had my first bike service done, and they have turned my old 2005 mountain bike from a scruffy old wreck into a gleaming machine that rides like a dream! :) These folks rock!

Great place for coffee and cyclists, but you don't need to be into both if you are its a bonus. Their building. And servicing bikes on one side whilst brewing lovely coffee on the other. Some of their custom builds are real interesting, bakers and butchers bikes built using the latest top-notch parts.

A superb local bike shop/eatery/coffee shop. Enjoyed a Friday evening at this Hip joint. Very chilled atmosphere. A large selection of bike frames, wheels and gear for cycling aficionados. Food and drinks are suitably unique and eclectic, with health in mind. Would definitely recommend. Some unique entertainment in the form of a cycle off on bikes fixed to rollers and a giant speed/distance clock and ranking board - funny and unique!

A little bit of hipster chic in Southbourne but still really quirky and nice. We loved the concrete and rough wood interior and I especially liked looking at all the old steel frame bikes. I doubt much bike fixing goes on in there and it is really more of a cafe with a bike theme. It seems to attract a 30's up sort of bunch. We had a cake and coffee and it took ages to arrive, literally about 15 minutes! There were only about ten punters in there and five young guys serving but they really couldn't get their acts together. It was quite early on a Sunday though! But it didn't matter at all as they were like a comedy act, lots of joking and banter and taking the Mickey out of themselves. They were a hilariously incompetent bunch and it was worth going there just to watch them. When the coffee and cake did arrive both were delicious and worth the slightly expensive price. If you like cycling and fancy a coffee or a bite to eat I would recommend this place.

Velo is the main reason why would find me in southbourne on any given day. It's a laid back vibe with a seriously creative menu full of great food dishes, paired with a full coffee and hit drink selection, and even better they have a beer license here so you can pick up a frosty beer brewed independently. Velo is as much a coffee shop as it is a specialty bike shop, focusing on mid to high end bikes. I believe their core focus is on cargo bikes but they seem to be building up a bigger and bigger range of others as well as a selection of accessories like lights and locks If you are in the area I highly suggest you check this place out, and tell them I sent you maybe I'll get a free coffee out of it you legend Also WiFi password is wekillbiketheives

Velo Domestique is a great place to go and get coffee, a bite to eat and catch up with some friends. The staff are all lovely and they make sure you have a great experience. They serve locally roasted Bad Hand Coffee which is the best you can get in Bournemouth. I would defiantly recommend for people to visit

Had my wife's bike serviced and rusted components swapped out for new ones, and my bike serviced and new hydraulic disc brakes put on. Both bikes looking and riding great. Excellent customer service, and very reasonable prices, especially for all the new parts.

Dan the owner is very knowledgable and passionate about bikes, he has been “exceptionally” patient & professional with detailing build quotes for me. His pricing is spot on and Velo always seem to update their website when most shops/retailers don’t...ie what they say is in stock is in stock. Missed out on a Big Bro build this time, but I will definitely be back very soon. Once again. Dealing with Velo has been most refreshing and stress free in these modern times. Great service from the folks at Velo Domestique! Sorted me out with a custom build on a Brother Meteh frame. They where happy to answer any questions I had about compatibility of swapping old parts over from my old bike. Bike shreds and has carried me many comfortable miles since getting it.
