We hired 8 superb well
Maintained bikes all in excellent condition.
In the bike shop mans defence I think he is a bit scared of COVID, once we got him chatting he relaxed and was very pleasant.

L.Dolgellau is amazing!!! Had a motorist drive the wrong way down the one way Ffos Y Felin in front of Dolgellau Cycles from the direction of Arran Road today. So I'm assuming they missed the large no entry signs! They were told a number of times it was one way as they went along. The driver only got the message when they tried (having reversed at the side of Aber Cottage to let another vehicle go past) to continue against the flow of traffic by turning right into the path of another oncoming car whose driver shouted it was one way. The driver of the offending vehicle shouted... "I get it" rather angrily! As though they were blameless. So... If you are on a bicycle do take care using the one way system.
F. H.Perfect from initial phone call to pick up and then return. Great value and GREAT customer service- don’t go anywhere else. We won’t when we next return. Had a wonderful time cyclising to Barmouth on our smooth running Dawes bikes. A patient and pleasant owner/manager. They’re closed Wednesday but open every other day, shorter hours Sunday. The guys got to sleep sometime 😀
N. D.Great shop and very helpful on the phone to sort both my sons mountain bikes while we were on our holiday. He works on his own sorting hire bikes,sales and repairs and was always busy and professional.
He fixed both bikes on time when we needed for a day of trials at coed brenin for a great price I couldn't rate this shop high enough.

We had a positive and friendly interaction with the man in the shop.
We cycled the nearby Mawddach Trail, which starts very near the shop, and is perfect for even beginners. Traffic free.

T. B.Excellent service and bikes from Dolgellau Cycles. We booked 3 bikes well in advance but had to move our booking because of an unexpected illness. The owner was understanding and we had a great day out as a family! The bikes were in great order and obviously very well looked after. The prices were reasonable too so we hired them for the entire day, biking to Barmouth and back which I highly recommend. We would definitely do it again and Dolgellau Cycles would be our first choice!
