I've used CycleWand a few times for repairs and service to my road bike and it's been great every time. They dropped what they were doing to get me back on the road straight away. Danny is really friendly, has the knowledge and offers brilliant value. This is a proper 5 star bike shop.

Have had 2 services and repairs done to my bike at CycleWand. They have always been really transparent about work needed/prices, very prompt in completing the work, and also generally just really nice and have great customer service. I'd contacted rival bike shops only to be told, 'Sorry, mate, can't fit you in for another month' -- but Liam at CycleWand said, 'Sure, just call in' . Not only that, but my bike was fully serviced with new parts *the same day* (even tho' I wasn't free to collect it until the day after). Daniel saved the day. My front disc brake pads failed coming down into Brighton from London by way of Ditchling Beacon. When it looked like he didn't have the (fairly obscure) kind I needed, he phoned other shops around the city. When all looked lost (kids: seriously consider pad availability when choosing disc brakes, or always, always take spares), he found a set that fit in his Aladdin's cave of stock. Enjoyable chat, a seriously enviable workshop, great value and went above and beyond. Chapeau!

I love Cyclewand. Everyone who works here is incredibly helpful. I stopped in the other day as my disc brake was rubbing. Not only did they fix the issue immediately, they taught me how to do it myself. I really appreciated the extra time they took so that next time I was stuck I could do it myself.

I came into the shop with a snapped chain after cycling from London to Brighton. Showed the owner and he just sorted it out! The service was so quick and affordable. Also informed me the issue why it happened and how he remedied it. If you ever in Brighton with a snapped chain go to CycleWand. Thank you again.

I cycled from London to Brighton, had a crash 5k from the "finish line". Chain was all messed up and so was I. I'm sorry I don't have the name of the amazingly cool and friendly guy who not only fixed my chain and tuned my gears, explaining me what and how he did it, but also let me use the toilet to clean my injuries. THANK YOU, really! The friendliness and quality of the service here are one of my best memories from Brighton.

I turned up with a bike in need of repair, expecting to leave it there and get a call days later. The guy checked a couple of things, said "come back in 20 minutes" so I did. Problem sorted with a new cassette, and for a very reasonable price. It's like riding a new bike in terms of how it's shifting. Oh and he tweaked the rear derailleur for free too, and offered a couple of tips about another thing I'll do myself. Really happy with the service.

Got my bike back from a service today. When I took it in it looked like I needed 3 new parts and was quoted a price I was happy with. When I went to pick it up turns out they only needed to change 1 part and the bill was quite a bit lower than expected. Lovely guys and very honest, I'll definitely use them again!

Been in a few times and Daniel is always super helpful and friendly. All the work I've had done on my bike has always been completed quickly and for a very reasonable price. This is the only place I'd take my bike now, would definitely recommend.

SUCH a nice man and helpful service! I was passing the shop and was getting stuck with my Satnav holder for my bike. Popped in to see if they sold any, when the owner very kindly showed me how to correctly fit and use the holder I already had so I wouldn't have to buy a new one. He did this on the spot for free. Needless to say my jaunt into the countryside was SO much easier without it falling off every two minutes, I will definitely be using this shop for all future biking needs. Thank you Cyclewand! x

I'd tried unsuccessfully to adjust a front derailleur on my road bike using Park Tool videos and so asked Cycle Wand if they could help. Liam said pop it down and they'll take a look. 10 minutes later it was fixed. It's now shifting beautifully. Liam also gave advice on the mechanics of the front derailleur. Great, speedy service and really reasonable costs. ☺

Best service I've ever had in a bike shop. The guy working there stopped what he was doing as soon as I walked in to help me. He then helped me with my problem free of charge using a number of tools I would otherwise have to buy. Some years ago Baker street bikes helped me with a similar problem but charged £15 and weren't nearly as friendly about it.

I had THE BEST customer experience with CycleWand yesterday. Daniel went totally out of his way to fix an awkward puncture (the wheel couldn't be removed)...and then a second puncture happened so he went above and beyond the call of duty, collecting the bike and then delivering it to me at 8pm in the evening, going totally out of his way and on a horribly wet evening too. The only people I would trust with my bike. Robert and his team are efficient, conscientious and provide warm, sincere service. Their bike servicing is super fast and very thorough, with no hidden extras. They stock a really nice range of bikes for every kind of rider, including e-bikes, and are the only people I have encountered who ask your budget then find you something well below that. Buy from them and you also get a free service a few weeks after purchase.

Had the misfortune to be involved in two accidents recently. On both occasions the service received by Cycle Wand has been superb. Staff have been friendly, given excellent advice about tyres, fixed my derailleur (which looked like a right off) and got my bike back on the road in a few days. The parts which weren't in stock arrived quickly and were very reasonable. Cant recommend the staff and shop enough. For repairs, service, maintenance 5 stars. They also have a decent selection of reasonably priced cycling safety equipment, locks, gadgets etc and service/maintenance products.
