I was really pleased with the service Billy provided. I’ve used lots of other bike mechanics before and I’ve rarely had such a quality service, and for a really reasonable price. I have an old tandem which had a slightly unusual gear cable problem which Billy mended with creativity and skill. Communication was excellent and Billy was able to get the work done really quickly. Billy let me know about some other work which needs doing in due course without being pushy. I will always be making the trip to Billy’s from now on and would recommend Billy’s Bike Exchange to anyone.

Regular customer of Billy! First bike I had I bought from someone else and Billy revamped it to a cute kitty mobile for my cats. The second visit was for a custom black and white bike which turned out to be my best purchase to this day. Will be servicing this from him again soon! Very happy with my bike purchase. A reasonable price for exactly what I wanted. Billy promised that if I have any issues, he'll fix it and indeed, he delivered on his promise. Some slight fine tuning was needed and Billy sorted it out. Certainly highly recommended.

i just moved over from the states and was really missing my road bike. i couldn't find any in the town i lived in so i decided to hop on the train to bristol and try my luck there. i am very short and knew i needed an XS frame. i called around to a handful of shops who were not able to help. billy was so friendly on the phone, immediately had a bike in mind for me and sent the listing over right away. i walked to the shop and he showed me the most beautiful bike in almost perfect condition. i took it for a spin and fell in love. he even went above and beyond to switch out a tire and the pedals for me, as i was being a bit nit picky. i would highly recommend billy to anyone looking for a well built bike, cared for with intention. if i'm ever in bristol and need a service, i wouldn't hesitate to call him. his punctuality, good attitude and honesty were all markers of a great guy to do business with. thanks billy!!!

My friend told me about Billy's Bike Exchange. She got her lovely bike from him. I took my bike to get a much needed service. Alot of attention and tweaking was needed. Not only was the the service tip top but Billy was super friendly and helpful! I'm hoping to get a new bike (reluctantly) I know it's hard to find a frame for my height and I'm super attached to my bike and the older frames. On request Billy has messaged me afew times about frames that would fit and I know we will find the right one! Cheers for the service and il definitely be back!

Billy’s Bike Exchange is the only bike shop you need to visit in Bedminster. Billy is super knowledgeable and very helpful, he knows his stuff and offers good advice! Definitely would recommend and will use again!

Billy serviced the rear hub on my road bike, took it all apart, cleaned it up and the cassette, looks like new!! It's nice to have a place to take your bike and have it serviced properly by someone who's been in the game a long time and knows what they're doing. Thanks very much!!

Amazing service, friendly guy, does things as cheap as he can and isn’t scared of old bikes! Highly recommend for both buying bikes and repairs. Went back again for a service and was treated to what felt like a brand new bike on its return. Not pushy at all with suggestions to improve your bike.
