Josh took in my ‘89 Rockhopper Comp for a respray and did a fantastic job. The finish is superb. Smooth and glossy.

I was very impressed with the high standard of workmanship and the knowledge Josh has on the subject of restoration. He is obviously very passionate about what he does. He sorted out a problem for me with a vintage child's trike, which no one else had managed to do, making it rideable once again after 30 years. I would highly recommend his business for any repairs, repaints mechanical issues or anything. Josh is a very friendly, helpful person, able to solve any bicycle problems.

I was super impressed with Joshua and the work he did on my bike. Booked it in for the silver service and he went over everything with a fine toothed comb. Good communication and he sorted a nasty hidden problem caused by the inattention of another local bike shop (who shall remain nameless) all for the price of the service. Josh came to my workplace and we had a consultation on how I imagined my bike with a new paint job. We chatted colours and finishes and he definitely made me feel comfortable and relaxed as he knew what he was talking about. He advised me on things that would work and was honest and told me things he didn’t think would go well. I was confident to leave my bike (yes I do love it) in excellent hands. The day came and I picked up my bike and I immediately teared up as it was beautiful. Josh had put my ideas and his expertise into a piece of sheer beautiful art. I am so happy, the finish is amazing, the colours are perfect. Josh is a real perfectionist so if he isn’t happy he will make sure even the smallest blemish is sorted before he gives you the frame. These things do take time but if you want something done to the standard Josh has then it’s worth the wait! I highly recommend Bristol Bike Restorations and I would go back in a heart beat. Thank you Josh for everything 😊

Parking my bike carelessly on the quayside Sunday resulted in some terrible scratches on my carbon forks. I called Josh, he said “bring it over”. I did. He took it in and made it better than new! I couldn’t be more pleased and can’t recommend BBR highly enough

Joshua did such a great job on fixing my bike. I had made a right mess of trying to remove a stuck seat post to the point at which I had written the bike frame off. Fortunately Joshua managed to remove the post, no trouble at all. Came in on budget and even got the bike back to me earlier than expected. Top notch guy and highly recommended.
