Staff are really welcoming and friendly. When picking my new bike over a year ago now, staff offered a lot of really useful expert advice and I had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and discuss options. I was able to use their back car park to try out the bike. They were all very supportive and didn't pressure me in anyway to buy the first bike I saw. They were more interested in finding the bike for me. A year later, and I absolutely love my bike! I have popped in a couple of times over the year to ask questions and get advice and also service my bike with them. They are really great at communicating and it's great to be told my bike is ready with a simple text. Highly recommended.

Having struggled to get Specialized UK to urgently supply me with an e-bike Gen 3 battery, I started phoning around to Specialized concept stores. The Bristol staff and bike technician Aaron were absolutely superb, they were friendly and went the extra mile by taking a Gen 3 battery out of a new bike so that I could ride over the Platinum Jubilee weekend. I live in London but it was worth the drive to Bristol to get great service. These guys get a 5 star rating from me.

I have a Specialized shop much nearer me in Cardiff but I took my bike here recently for some issues with paint chipping because I haven’t had great experiences with the one in Cardiff. The concept store in Bristol is absolutely outstanding. It leaves the other store I used to go to in the dark. The customer experience is excellent. I was made to feel comfortable, well looked after and kept informed throughout. The work the mechanics did is excellent. From now on I will be going here for any issues or to buy any upgrades/ servicing. They are very trust worthy and the extra 40 mins drive is well worth it as far as I am concerned. Well done all that work there!!

Great workshop crew at the moment.
Had my trashed bearings replaced - a REALLY horrible challenge- in my 8-yr old rear suspension arm. And some other stuff. A rear wheel rebuild.
All done expertly, with really nice-to-deal-with mechanics (in my experience not always the case!!), and several extras thrown in for free. Not cheap, but you’ve got to pay for skilled labour..
Bottom line: great workshop. 5 star recommend.

Great team - great store.
I had a motor failure on my Levo a couple of years ago and went to Certini in Bristol. I bought the bike in Switzerland and was surprised and happy as they treated me as if I'm a long time customer and replaced the motor for free (warranty was expired). Shortly after the battery failed and was replaced again for free including the harnais).
Last week the belt snapped on my wife's Levo and just two days before taking off on a bike holiday. I called Guy, he checked stock and got back to me with good news. Motor in stock and he booked me in the workshop right away. Saved our holidays.
And they even had both, a Levo S-Works in S3 and S4 to try. I took the S4 home😊

I bought this sequoia earlier this year and it has been an amazing bike, I ride it every week and have now just done a mini tour, it’s comfortable, light yet sturdy for going down hills! The reason we bought from this store was because the staff were so helpful snd friendly, and helped me make what a complicated decision. And I haven’t looked back. I will be looking into getting a second more road orientated bike maybe next year and will definitely use Specialized again! Thanks 👍🏻

Had bought two bikes a couple of months ago for myself and my partner. I had a problem with mine yesterday, I called the shop, not considering the warranty, I spoke to jude? Who straight away spoke to the repairs, they fixed my bike & had it ready the following morning at no cost.
I didn't have to argue for it to be covered by the warranty, it was offered.
We only bought the starter gravel bikes. Some bike shops have no interest after you have bought your bike. So I am pleased we bought our bikes here

Absolutely fantastic service today. When the motor on my Levo died on the first day of our holiday. Took bike in at midday and was ready to be picked up a few hours later. All done on warranty so didn’t cost us a penny. Also it wasn’t our local bike shop but they were still happy to do the work. Amazing service, thanks so much. Would definitely highly recommend this shop, especially Dave in the workshop 😊

Really friendly & knowledgable staff, plenty of variety within the shop.
Very considerate to COVID Rules & Regulations when entering the shop.
Purchased Ride Concept Hellion Shoes &
DMR Vault Peddles.

Could not ask for better support, even being the second owner of an in warranty Spesh EMtb.
The diagnosis was rapid. Resolution rapid too with onsite parts. Spesh may be expensive, however you get a great product (I've used Spesh MTB for 30 years now) along with great support. The company takes responsibility for the whole product not just parts.
Having bought online EMtb in the past, when (not if) they go wrong the costs start to climb. Also the delays to resolve.
I know Spesh are even there for you after warranty has expired and always willing, within reason to assist.
I'm glad to be back on Spesh again and glad to be under their support network.

No snobbiness, no trying to sway you one way or another, basically doesn't act like a bike dealer but acts as a manufacturer agent. Just nice relaxing and open plan shop. How a bike shop should be. I'll be here many times again!

Great bike shop staffed by people who are obviously as into their cycling as their customers.
I was helped by Jack who was superb - clocked the right frame size for me in seconds-set up more than one bike for me to try out and was as excited as I was for the new bike. On pickup day, the bike was set up just right and Jack was on point with any questions no matter how basic.
End result is a bike that is a joy to ride.

The customer service was second to none last year I bought my bike from Evans cycles the customer service was horrible. Me and my wife went to Specialized shop in Bristol to buy bike for our son.
Jude give us very helpful, honest, sincere, and without prejudiced advice to choose the correct bike for our son . If the
management read this review please consider Jude for promotion.
Jude thank you for your help
Best regards

We have bought at least 4 bikes from this store, This is a very professional set up and a one stop shop for everyone , from the novice to the pro biker. The staff are extremely friendly and bent over backwards to make sure we had exactly what we needed. I live in Bath so this is the local store for us. We have been customers for years and will continue to use Certini as our bike shop of choice

Excellent selection and friendly service, they helped my family out with some quick derailleur alignment and did a great job.

Great place with great staff :) bought the bike and had a bike fit 👌🏽

Awesome shop. Great service. Lovely guy helped me choose a great bike and accessories. Been a cyclist for 25 years and this is the best bike shop I've ever been in.

Absolutely outstanding service from this store. Having spent the last two months trying to get anywhere with Evans regarding a warranty claim I spoke to Paul at this store who went out of his way liaising with Specialised to get a replacement bike which I had within 24 hours of our first conversation. He really did go above and beyond and I cannot thank him enough for getting me back on the road.

Great bike shop with nice bikes and accessories. However what make this shope special (ized) is the customer service and staff. Especially Patricia being great help and make customer journey an exceptional experience. Recommended.

Great Customer Service. They have demonstrated the general advice: "go with a real local shop/retailer when you buy a bike, then you can get the after sales support" I bike mechanic friend of mine gave me before deciding where to buy a entry level gravel bike. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND
s.
I would like to say a big thanks to Ryan, Ben and Jack who all went out of their way to ensure that I bought the bike and equipment that was right for me. I felt they were much more knowledgeable and forthcoming than anyone I'd spoken to elsewhere. Would recommend to anyone starting out given the help and advice available and also to the more seasoned cyclist given the large amount of stock you can actually physically go and see. I would rate these guys first class and go so far as saying customer care was right up there with the likes of Richer Sounds, who pride themselves (and rightly so) as being all about the customer. Good job guys!

Just bought a gravel bike and an E-bike from the Bristol store. Staff were fantastic, very knowledgeable, not at all pushy, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Will definitely go back to these guys when the time comes to replace and also wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to family and friends.

I recently purchased a Dolce Elite 2018 48cm from this store. I am a complete beginner when it comes to bikes having only owned a very cheap hybrid before and really didn't like it or cycling! The Specialized Concept Store recommended to me by another Bristol bike shop as they didn't stock what he thought I needed. Despite feeling very intimidated about going to a "proper" bike shop, I went in with my husband and was made to feel immediately welcome and offered assistance pretty much straight away. Elle (I think it was) talked through my cycling experience and my requirements and didn't once make me feel like an idiot for not knowing anything. I wasn't pressured at all to make a decision and left the store after my original visit without a bike to think about my purchase a bit longer. I called the shop during the week to ask a few further questions, all of which were answered quickly and made me feel confident about my purchase. I ordered my bike the following Saturday and it was set up and ready for me to collect on the Sunday (they could have had it ready for me on the Saturday afternoon but I wasn't able to collect it). The gentleman (sorry I can't remember their name) who served me couldn't have been more helpful, from picking out the correct bike lock for to showing me how to apply lubricant to a chain. I have been out on my bike most weekends since owning it and from enduring cycle rides on my old bike I really enjoy and look forward to them with my new Specalized one. I had a fantastic experience and would recommend anyone to go there regardless of experience. I am looking forward to my bike fit session later this month :)

Purchased a Roubaix Comp from the store. Ryan who sorted the purchase out was superb from start to finish. I left it late in the season to buy the bike and it was selling fast across the country and stock was low. I needed a 56cm and there wasn't one it stock - Ryan swapped a 58cm that the shop had in stock with another dealer in Wales who had a 56cm and I bought the bike here in Bristol - great customer experience - I also received some excellent advice on lights too. I won't be shopping anywhere else in future - highly recommend this store to anyone, novice or experienced cyclists alike.

Totally disregard my last review about this place I have had issues with a specialized bike I never purchased from here and they have came up trumps both times will Deffinatly be my go to bike shop
W. H.
Lovely experience buying my specialised diverge in the spring this year. Staff and manager very helpful. I ve had a few minor issues with the bike which sorted myself and thro workshop. Great shop and really impressed with how well i was treated in store

I had used this shop to buy tyres , helmets and get my bike serviced. The staff were friendly and tailored their advice to my level of knowledge ( which is occasionally quite limited!). The one time I had a problem with some of the work they had done on the bike and they couldn't have been more helpful, they accepted my view, rectified the issue and were incredibly professional which lets face it is what you want. I will go back again in confidence.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Stock available at roughly 10 days lead time currently for bikes if not already on site. Worth a browse online first but in store guidance very good.
G. R.
Great people to deal with very knowledgeable staff who always go out of their way to assist you, special Thanks to manager Bal, Josiah the mechanic and Joe who delivered my S-Works SL7 from Bristol to Widnes. I hope that I enjoy it as much as I enjoy my SL6

Great store! And even better service! Dropped in by chance during a ride last week for a look around as a cyclist i tend to look in every shop i can. Chatted to Phil about bikes and even though I expressed i wasn't due a new bike till after summer he spent some time chatting about them and was very friendly and informative. Nice to be made feel welcome and even took a look at something on my bike I had trouble with and offered a drink! I'm getting my new bike from here my new local, guys here really know their stuff and made me feel like one of the team chatting about trails and all things bike...great experience all round.

Highly recommend this store!
I purchased my first road bike from here which was recomended to me by staff and is perfect for my needs. Everyone we spoke to was able to answer questions and advise but without any sales pitch. I wasn't coerced into buying a more expensive bike than I needed!
During my first cycle I realised I was struggling to reach the brake levers properly and apply enough pressure to come to a stop safely and confidently. I have been back three times for staff to help me with this and each time they have gone over and above what they needed to do to come up with the best solution.
If one member of staff and an idea they would ask the opinion of another and and talk it through with each other, which to me was a great sign of knowledge sharing and problem solving.
My overall impression is that each member of staff genuinly wants you to get the best out of your bike, It didn't matter to them that my bike was not one of the high end priced bikes, I was given as much attention as though it had been.
Very helpful and very knowledgable. Thank you

Good shop in general, but when I went in with my male friend I felt like I was entirely ignored by staff who approached only him, spoke only to him and asked what he was interested in buying, despite me standing there right next to him. I was planning on buying some bike parts too but didn't feel that I wanted to after this strange experience. It was rather like going back in time. Male friend also reported finding it a bit unsettling. I'd be willing to go back there again though, as maybe it wouldn't happen again..

So impressed with this store. I don't often write reviews but felt compelled to as the service I received today was more than excellent. Went in to check a headset bearing I had fitted as wasn't sure if I had done it right. Not only did they help me with the correction of the headset and top tube, but they also noticed my front tyre was bulging and about to go bang so replaced the tyre also. Really impressed with the professionalism, service and skill of the staff in this store. They have potentially saved me from a nasty injury by recognising the tyre problem. I highly recommend them and would give them more than 5 stars if I could. :)

Great staff. I bought new shoes in this shop. The guy was very patient and helpful to me. I also bought new insoles but they did not fit me well so they exchanged them for right ones with no extra charge. I definitely gonna come back.

Been twice in last couple of months, and bought mountain bikes for my son and me, and a hybrid for my wife. We like cycling but are not that techie about it. Staff were all super helpful, not pushy and totally unpatronising. Highly recommended and I now won't go anywhere else.

Having been ripped off by local shops I was relieved to find these guys- open late (big bonus) easy parking & just off M32 I have had all my bikes fixed and serviced with just days (& in one case hours) of booking. Used to weeks of waiting & taking time off work so very happy! Ended up buying a new alias 4 weeks prior to ironman (this was shipped especially, serviced and set up with no extra charges) Friendly professional and helpful staff (special mention to Jonno) you won't get this anywhere else. I suspect I will be back soon to get my other half kitted out..... Thank you

Outstanding service overall.
When my six-year-old's bike was stolen this week we needed a decent replacement and we needed it quickly. I spent a good chunk of Saturday morning ringing around second-hand and new bike shops in Bristol to no avail. Checked Amazon (not a great choice of quality bikes) and Ebay (overpriced and overused examples only, unfortunately). Tried Evans but, although they had what I wanted, they literally refused to put it together until the following Wednesday as they were 'too busy'. Seriously??? Tried Bools Bicycles who were fantastic and very informative (i.e. recommended) but did't sell the brands I was interested in. I then tried the Specialized store in the Eastgate Centre, Bristol. I guess I put off calling these guys initially because I'd had the impression that they would be expensive.
I wish I had saved myself a morning of stress and called Specialized first. They may sell different products to other bike stores and certainly do have some high-end products on display but not all the products are on millionaires' wishlists and I found that the store is NOT expensive, but rather offers simple, sound value. And that was just the first of several nice surprises I got when dealing with them.
I spoke initially on the phone with John at the store who checked stock and found what we wanted. The store was having a big first-birthday promotion so the staff there were evidently flat out with customers but John assured me that they'd have the bike put together within the hour for us to have a 'no-obligation' trial in their large trial yard. How cool was that and what an amazing contrast to Evans! We got to the store and, although John was with other customers, the bike was waiting for us to try out as promised and we were waited on by a member of staff who was just as helpful and friendly.
They put together a fantastic deal that was so loaded with 'good will' that it left me with no choice but to get my payment card out.
So I would like to thank John and all the staff who waited on us, advised us, and even gave us sandwiches and a drink for solving our problem with such an abundance of quality service and straightforward pricing that I literally can't think of any reason to go anywhere else the next time we need a bike.
See you in six weeks for our free service on the bike! :)
Cheers.
Justin.

My dura ace 9100 crankset failed on me by cracking. I had it around 18 months. The team sent it off to shimano and I picked up a brand new like for like replacement. The guys were great and took care of everything and called me when it arrived in store to collect. Great work.

Friendly staff, and nice looking store with a place to put your bike inside, or car parking outside. Not as much stock as I would have liked which is why it's 4 stars and not 5.
