Saved my weekend!! A long story cut short but three of our family were down south for the weekend to take part in the Ride London/Essex cycling event. I was having problems with my gears and took the bike along thinking it was just needing minor repairs. Phil discovered it wasn't so minor and that one of my gear shifters needed replaced but after several phone calls he found a shop relatively nearby that had the required parts. I nipped off to collect said parts and Phil duly fitted them. This episode took over 3 hours during which Phil provided great chat, coffee and advice re any future repairs I may attempt! Without Phil my bike and I wouldn't have got over the start line. Instead my family and I had a great day out on the bikes. Many thanks Phil. Dave T
