Yes this is smaller then their last shop and yes everything appears to be crammed in. However they had a great amount of stock even though a big sale was on. A gent called Karl is a big help in there, very knowledgeable, had all the answers we needed and made sure we left with everything we wanted or came in for.

Colchester maybe a smaller store. But their staff are absolutely the best when it comes to the products there selling. More than happy to give a personal recommendation and options. All you have to do is ask.

New smaller store in Colchester. Not the range of the older store and no erected tents to view. Short of some stock. Decent car park but dont stay for too long. Check digns.

A wonderful shop for people who like the outdoor way of life. I buy my walking boots, camping gadgets etc.. in here and really like being able to look at products before I buy. A bit short on stock at the moment due to lockdown delivery problems. You can take your dogs in too 😊

Great but not as good as they were now that sports direct have taken over. Many shelves are left bare, after stock has been sold, because they aren't allowed to dictate their own displays. Many staff weren't pleased with the changes. They had to get rid of the climbing wall too which was very saddening.

Large shop near Asda selling outdoor clothing, accessories and equipment for mountaineering, hill climbing/trekking, camping and leisure, cycling and fishing. Good discounts frequently on offers. Basic brands as well as high end brands. Good shop.

I would just like to say a big thank you to the young sales assistant who served my grumpy husband on 14-08-21. He had bought an air awning almost a year before and on opening to use for the first time noticed there was no pump with it. The man named Luke dealt with the situation in a really calm and professional way !

What a service l got at the Colchester store been a bit of a mumty l needed a new gas regulator for my barbecue after finding out l needed a new bottle of gas bought one only to find out the regulator would not fit not only did they change my bottle of gas for me at no charge but also made sure that the regulate fitted the bottle. Jak and Kenny were brilliant thanks lads great service 100% out of 10

Great store, great selection and friendly staff. I was looking for a fuel pump for a whisperlite internationale and they had one in stock - most other places I would have had to have ordered it in specially but Go-Outdoors had one ready and waiting. I also love the climbing section - they even have a climbing wall for the kids. Not sure about the comment saying they have downscaled - the place is HUGE!
