P. V.Patrick, Dom and the whole team here are superb! The experience of having a bike custom built to my specification was amazing and knowing I own a bespoke unique bicycle is simply amazing. I had a choice of all the large manufacturers or custom built bike from Interbike, after the initial consultation I knew that these guys wouldn't oversell and would care for my bike. Build wasn't without delay but given current climate of bikes this was out of their control and just made getting the bike at the end even more of a joy.
C. F.Came off my bike today which left me with a snapped derailleur hanger and a lot bits and pieces on the wonk.
The team at Velo Schils were only too happy to help.
They didn't have the part in stock (to be expected at the moment) so instead they swapped it off of one of their new in-house bikes, and got everything else on my bike shipshape.
Had a really nice chat with the staff while my bike was being seen to (they're passionate about what they do) and I'm looking forward to my next visit - hopefully under better circumstances!

Patrick was really helpful and took the time to explain what I needed and why. This is a family run business and when it came to my bike fit, Patricks son who is also a wealth of knowledge was really helpful. R. P.There is only one word that can be used FANTASTIC the staff are helpful and honest and will not try and sell you a bike just to make money. From the moment you walk in until the moment you walk out (7.15 when they close at 6) they are helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend them highly enough, it doesn't matter where you live if your after a custom fitted top grade bike and want friendly experienced service you will not be disappointed.

I’ve bumped into cyclists all over the country who know Pat or have heard of the shop and/or the club and ALWAYS have good things to say! It is a family run shop by a cycling family that know their stuff. Add that to top quality merchandise that they sell and with bikes and kit in their own name and colours. It doesn’t get more ‘professional’ than that for a ‘local’ bike shop! I have over the years, purchased 5 Schils bikes ( I still have 3 of them) such is their quality and style, as I personally prefer to have something ‘unique’ rather than ride a commonly seen ‘Specialised’ ‘Focus’ or ‘Trek’ to name a few, and save money at the same time. So if you’re looking for something different, looking for build and quality with the after sales reputation you’d expect from a proud cycling family, then you’d go far to find another cycling company like Velo Schils. ...Oh, their cycling team’s pretty good too!

C. B.There are very few bike shops around like Interbike. It's a family run shop and they all have a great passion for cycling; the shop is full of memorabilia, trophies and authentic retro jerseys from the golden age of cycling and as a cycling fan, it's too cool. I got my first road bike from here 10 years ago, a Schils XLR8R, and to date, it is still the best I've ridden. My experiences here over the years have always been positive; their service is fantastic and their personal touch unmatched. Whether you want to buy a bike or just chat about cycling, I cannot recommend it enough.

T.As a beginner to road cycling I went to Interbike after shopping round for a bit, I got a brilliant deal on a complete bike, although the bike still cost £800 i would have had to spend another £600 to get a bike from somewhere else that matched it in quality of the frame and components, they even let me play about with which wheels, saddle, handlebars, fork, and groupset I wanted, (something you dont get with branded bikes at all) and the bike was ready in three days for me. When I picked the bike up I was really happy to find that everything was quality and not own branded cheap stuff, they'd even gone to the extent of putting on Schwalbe tyres and continental tubes.
Patrick and the rest of the people there are really friendly and helpful, although you pay slightly more for going here than you would if you used a site like wiggle its worth the extra few quid as you get to try the stuff in the shop before you buy it and dont have to wait ages for delivery.
I've had my bike six months now and not had a single problem and people in the club I cycle with have brought bikes twice the price that don't match the one I got from Interbike.
I've been back several times to get new tyres, tt bars and other upgrades and the mechanic there, Ieuan I think, is a genius at bike level, he was really unbiased and gave solid sound advice, he even said since I brought the bike from there they would carry out little alterations and adjustments for free the first couple of times just to make sure the bike fitted perfectly.
I really cant recommend these guys enough they've helped me loads and I cant understand some of the other reviews on here, other people I know have gone to Interbike to buy their next bikes as a result of my experience and they have had an equal if not better experience to me.
The best thing about this is I have a brilliant and completely unique bike that no one else in the world has as it was made and customised for me for the same price of a medium range roadie.

B. A.Recently had the groupset on my Wilier upgraded from Campag Centaur to Campag Chorus. Rang them on a Monday took it in on a Tuesday and the work finished by Thursday. Friendly polite and helpful service. Communication was very good regarding progress of work and rang me to confirm bike was ready for collection.
Very happy with the work done and the service received. Would definitely consider having a new bike built by these guys.
