M. K.Bikes works and their partner, WeBuyCycles were extremely efficient and wonderfully accommodating when a few unexpected delays arose(none from their end). A few emails back and forth led to a satisfactory and timely transaction which took place remotely. Paul and Darren ensured a streamlined interaction.
They were quick to appraise the cycle once it arrived at their shop and were a delight to correspond with.
Would recommend if you're trying to a sell cycle from a remote location.

L. W.Fantastic experience with Bike Works. I bought my dream 2nd hand bike from them in July (Trek Emonda SL5) and the battery on the Di2 stopped working (faulty) in October. It was just before the 3 month warranty ran out but the customer service from Darren and his team meant that I had a new battery within two days at no expense and the bike is just incredible. The service they did on it before I bought it meant it was like buying a brand new bike. I have since recommended them to a good friend and would recommend to anyone looking into second hand or new bikes.

I had a mild Birthday Bike panic as the bike i ordered (Not from the Bike Works) came with damaged gearing and I only had a couple of days to get it fixed for my son's birthday. After a late night Facebook message i dropped the bike off the following morning and was fixed and collected the same day. Absolutely brilliant service and super friendly! This was my first time buying a used bike so I was a little apprehensive especially not having viewed in person, but there was nothing to worry about, the bike is perfect, exactly as described, communication was always excellent with Paul and Jonty, the bike was delivered very quickly and was packed very well to insure no damage in transit. m. f.Just purchased a fairly expensive high end 2nd hand bike and dealt with Paul. Very good timely communication, always keeping me updated. The bike arrived and I was impressed, very well packed and protected. The bike was in spotless condition, it could have passed for new. Even cassette and chain were clean, frame spotless, new brake pads, it was immaculate and I'm fussy with my bikes and keeping them in good condition. Paul even threw in some pedals and bottle cages so I could go straight out on it when it arrived. Very good service would highly recommend and I would use them again.

Paul offered to change the stem to a longer one at no extra cost and the bike I bought (Cube Agree C:62 Race Disc) was in great condition - very clean and barely a mark on it - all as described and photographed. My frustration is I cannot get out on it for a couple of weeks due to recovering from a minor op and having to look at the bike every day is driving me mad!!

S. S.I cannot rate derbybikeworks enough.
I like many people cannot afford top end bikes, I messaged many bike shops to find out if I can just pay off for a bike in my own time giving me the option to pay what I can when I can. Shockingly no bike shops would help until I contacted the bikeworks. They gave me the option to go ahead and buy my dream bike, and not only did they help me, the service which I feel is lost among most retailers is at it's very best, top communication, next day delivery and even little things like tyres pumped up, Di2 battery charged, bike clean and Immaculate just like a new bike, and with all that I got a brilliant deal.
I think helping others to pay what they can when they can is a big step forward helping people not get trapped into a high % APR payment deal for a hugely over priced expensive bike which come with run of the meal poor service.
I cannot fault the bike works team and encourage others that dream about ultegra, full carbon etc to go ahead and ask what help you can get. 👍

I bought it over the phone and the bike on arrival was as explained and better.. they checked the bike over and even altered the brakes over from continental to U.K. standard.. talked me through some fitting details and helped me to my car to make sure everything was good to go..
