Really good experience using Hardy and Derby Bike PopUp. Broken spoke repaired quickly. Customer service excellent, Hardy came out to me (collect, deliver and a third time to adjust the head) so didn’t have to lift a finger! Top chap, top service, highly recommended.

Hardy is a skilled mechanic who is clearly passionate about bikes and biking. He is reliable, efficient, honest about what needs doing and is able to discuss issues in a clear, non-technical manner. His expertise, friendly manner and hard-working attitude have made him my go-to person for any bike repair or modification in the future. And he comes to your house! I will definitely be using him again and am recommending him to all my friends.

Fantastic, swift and comprehensive service by a guy who knows his stuff. Arrived on time as agreed, which was nice - no waiting around unlike some other service providers who keep you waiting, or never even show up. Brilliant job done on my long unused bike, well recommended.

I called Hardy as I liked the idea of not having to take all the bikes to a shop for servicing. One of the bikes he serviced hadn’t seen the light of day for more than 4 years but is a dream to ride having been serviced, quiet and smooth. He took his time and when finished explained about components that will be ready for replacing on the next service. Top lad, price, knowledge and service was spot on. Will be using his services in the future.

We’re a family of 5 with 4 cheaply bought bikes, 3 of which were unusable due to neglect & initial poor set up (think general misalignment & loose connections, broken gears, malfunctioning brakes etc, etc)... I firstly thought, I’m going to have to buy new but then saw Derby Bike pop up on Facebook & I’m so glad I did!! After an initial assessment, that determined the bikes were salvageable, all 3 were given a service & repair and are more enjoyable to use now than when brand new. An excellent service that sparred landfill & resulted in the bikes being the best they’ve been! Get yours serviced ASAP!!

Can’t recommend highly enough! We asked for an “essential service” and “clean” for a badly maintained road bike, and so much more was done. It took longer than expected due to the the problems, but nothing was too much trouble. We’ll definitely be using again with our other bikes!
