I purchased an electric scooter last December as a Christmas present for my son. Was served by the Assistant Manager Marc and his customer service was absolutely fantastic. This was my second time purchasing an electric scooter and Marc helped my son choose the scooter that was right for him. He walked through all the models and specs that would suit best my son and we purchased one leaving very satisfied. Recently my sons scooter needed the brake handle repairing. Calling up to arrange repair was simple and easy. Came and dropped off the scooter and Marc once again served us. Marc was absolutely fantastic once again. Reminding me I had the 6 months repair plan so I only had to pay for parts and he noticed the handle grips had become worn. He went the extra mile and replaced the grips which was so kind of him to do. The repair was all done within an hour which was fantastic. Marc is such a credit to your store. He clearly demonstrates what customer service is and should be. His knowledge of all the products and his care for customers is something I wish I saw more often. Amazing customer service! My partner got me an electric bike as a surprise for me to commute to my new job. When he first Brough the bike home, we suddenly realised there were a few large scratches on the wheel of the bike. We called up pure electric and they told us to bring down the bike the next day and they would build us a brand new bike to say sorry and even gave us a few wash and lube kit out of curtsy. Unfortunately, when I finally saw the bike myself and tried it out, the saddle was a little too high for me even at its lowest point. We again called pure electric and they said they may be able to cut the seat post down for us. We Brought the bike back to the store the next day and unfortunately they could not cut the seat post down as there was no give on the post at its lowest point. Instead they exchanged our bike for a slightly different bike that had a lower seat. We had to cancel our original one to do this but it was no problem for them as they helped us purchase the new bike in store and then had the new bike built for us in a couple of hours ready to take home the same day! Amazing guys there, and brilliant customer service. Highly recommended pure electric for customer service and quality of the bikes themselves. Thank you guys :)

After weeks of deliberation about buying an E bike we popped into Pure Electric Derby yesterday, and had all of our questions answered, a purchase like this is almost impossible to be made online without first talking to someone in the know, seeing and sitting on the bikes to get a feel for your purchase before you part with your hard earned money (even the style of handlebars makes a huge difference) The manager even made adjustments to the bike to make it perfect for my criteria they literally couldn’t have been more helpful and we never for a second felt pushed into a decision. I would encourage anyone wishing to make such a purchase in this direction.

Hi I called the shop yesterday with an issue regarding my bike chain on my electric bike which I purchased from the shop last year. I spoke to Zac in technical department and he invited me to come into the shop for him or a team member to look at the issue which I did later that day. Within a minute Zac knew exactly what the problem was! He managed to sort it out within 10 mins with no charge to me - thank you Zac I am one very happy customer!!

Many thanks to Laurie at Pure Electric in Derby for great customer service when purchasing my first e-bike. He listened carefully to our requirements and explained the different options available. There was no hard sell and I certainly felt that Laurie genuinely wanted to ensure that the bike was a ‘perfect fit for me’. Before purchasing my bike, Laurie took me out on a test ride - which was important for me, as I’m only small and on many adult bikes, I’m having to over stretch making the ride quite uncomfortable. I’m now enjoying riding again with my family and I’m no longer at the back of the pack!

Absolutely amazing customer service (both professional and friendly) from Marc, Laurie and the rest of the crew at Pure Electric Derby. 1. Purchased an electric scooter online from Pure Electric, when delivered, the part which allows the scooter to be folded was broken in three places. 2. Called Pure Electric Derby, spoke to Laurie, nothing was an issue. Immediately, Laurie checked the stock and advised me that they had the same scooter in. They would build it and charge it, and it would be ready for me to exchange and collect. 3. On arrival, nothing was an issue. They would just swap it. Laurie then checked the tyre pressure and advised me to check it each week to 42 psi. The knowledge and information I received was invaluable. 4. Laurie took me through the settings of the scooter. Allowed me to try it. Marc continued with an in-depth discussion of the Pure Electric app and its benefits. 5. I left with a Care Pack (which includes services and repairs for 12 months). This works well alongside the 12 month warranty. No disadvantages, but as you can imagine there may be many puncture repairs (if you consider the rotations of a bicycle tyre to a scooter tyre). The Care Pack includes unlimited labour on puncture repairs. I was advised openly and honestly by Marc, with absolutely no sales pitch involved. Luckily, I was aware of this and possibility of frequent tyre punctures as a result. I'll definitely consider going into a store to shop for items of this calibre from hereon. I'm an online enthusiast, but I would never have received such excellent service; advice and information, if I hadn't have had a fault with my online purchase. Excellent professional and friendly service, and your advice is invaluable to me. I can't thank you enough.

Bought an E-Bike at the end of last year. Really helpful and knowledgeable staff. Was riding past this morning and had a puncture literally outside the shop. I could have changed it but I had fixed one in the same wheel only last night so I was concerned that there was something in the tyre I had missed. The chap outside started talking to me about the puncture and then I realised he actually worked there. In went my bike and 30 minutes later it was fixed and had the firmware updated. Will be taking it back later this year for its one year service under the silver service plan. Definitely recommend.

Popped in out of curiosity this afternoon as I used to frequent the previous store, and the young fella working was very willing to talk me through multiple scooter models, and was even kind enough to let me have a quick whiz about on one too! Just waiting for the law to change now!! (fingers crossed!) Wide selection of bikes/scooters and very knowledgeable and welcoming staff. On a side note though, the music choice of the day must have been taken out of an elevator music playlist!
