They did an unusual job of replacing the brake cables of a mobility walker because they had stretched, not an easy job because of end-fasteners which were not the same as on a bike. Despite having to improvise, they did an excellent job and they did it while I waited so that I could return it to its elderly owner without delay. Highly recommend.

Brilliant, went today at a moments notice to get a new valve pin in my wife's little electric bike inner tube. No charge and very helpful AND got me out of "Hot Water" with my Mrs for snapping it in the first place.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome service & tons of help when buying some new bikes! 👍🚲 Sales Assistant Tom was incredibly helpful when it came to me and my boyfriend finding new bikes. Very knowledgeable, honest about models, and accommodating when it came to explaining payment options. I highly recommend coming here to learn more about bikes in general, or to get honest and valuable opinions when it comes to bagging yourself some new wheels!

Very helpful bike mechanics, we dropped in with no notice or anything and they squeezed us in without an appointment, and it was done same day. I thought it was a matter of a simple break bleed, but it turned out to be slightly more complex, thankfully they stocked spares for hope brakes and the job was done nice and quickly. Very good.

I have to say that the customer service in that store was absolutely fantastic. I went in with a what was, in my mind, a Christmas emergency. My boy's new bike wasn't quite right.. Not only did the team at Evans diagnose issues I wasn't aware of, they sorted all problems, and made the new bike safe and ready to ride, at no extra cost. They did it all with a friendly smile and seemed happy to help.. Honestly brilliant team, I'll be going again to get accessories and I look forward to seeing my boy on his new bike thanks to these wonderful people. Thank you

I popped in today to get some new road bike shoes. Keith was absolutely superb. I was being a bit of a muppet because I was getting mixed up with what I thought I needed! Keith was brilliant, didn’t judge me being a muppet and helped me find the correct type for my road bike. I cannot thank Keith and Evans once again….always friendly and helpful! Had my roscoe 6 in a few times. Had new pedals and new breaks put on as well as gears fixed. Staff are lovely to talk to especially one called Mark. Unreal to talk to and just for a general chat whilst you wait for your bike. Excilent service all so polite and would always use them. Excellent advice too!!!!. Well worth the money.

Went in for an inner tube, came out with an inner tube, a Topeak chain tool, a Park Tools tape measure and 4 SIS energy gels. Did I really need any of the extra loot I bagged? Maybe the carb gels. But now I have a chain tool in my backpack AND strapped to my frame for the shorter rides, and the next time I measure something, I'm measuring it in STYLE!

Called in on a bank holiday hoping to replace my tyres as I was bikepacking in the Yorkshire Dales and had a very patchy front tyre I could not rely on. They had good gravel tyres in stock and the mechanic was able to set them up tubeless despite the busy workshop schedule. Very friendly mechanic and even learned a thing or two on setting up tubeless tyres! Literally saved my holiday, these gentleman are a true testament to what Evans Cycles stands for!

I have been to around 20 bike stores in the last four years of cycling, however I rate Evans as the one I would choose to go to over any other, I have received outstanding service on a number of occasions from Evans, I have never had bicycle shop assistants actually take the time to physically help like they have done at Evans, also with no concerns about getting messy goo on their clothes, whilst physically attempting to get the tyre seated to help me out, eventually I left the wheels with them as they just weren’t seating, they replaced the rim tape and valves and goo within hours of receiving the wheels and then told me there would be no cost at all. Amazing, never in my life have I had a bicycle shop go the extra mile like this, I’m a customer for life 👍

Had my bike serviced here a couple of times now, I wouldn't go anywhere else. The lads in the workshop are really friendly and helpful, explaining things well. Prices are really good too, and they don't try and charge for any unnecessary things, very honest and trustworthy, Bought stuff in the shop before too, I can't fault the store or Staff in any way - easily the best bike shop/workshop in the area.

Really happy with my experience at Evans cycles. Recently bought a new bike through the cycle to work scheme. The staff were brilliant at helping me choose the right bike. When I went to collect the bike I was given a full run through of the bike and given advice on accessories. The staff are really friendly and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this store.

As a total noob, I visited the store looking for a bike to commute to work on, plus accessories. I spent 2 hours with Mark going through all the options and doing multiple laps of the car park. Absolutely brilliant customer service. Mark had all the patience in the world and very knowledgeable about the products. For me, the biggest advantage of buying in-store was that staff helped me choose the right items for my needs and budget. I can't really fault anything about the whole process. 10/10.
