I recently bought a helmet from Bike Craft while they were handling a warranty claim on my behalf. While dealing with the claim they were professional throughout the fairly arduous process, keeping in good communication and giving expert advice at each stage. The helmet purchase was a breeze too and was the least I could do for a group of good folk who clearly know what they are talking about when it comes to Bikes and show a real care for those interested in at any level.

Outstanding service from these guys. Dropped my bike off earlier in the week and said I needed it for the weekend for my first outing with a club. The part arrived late on Friday and they stayed after hours to ensure I got it back on time. Price was exactly as quoted at drop off. Couldn't ask for any more!

Excellent service - dropped my friend's tired old mountain bike in for repairs and a service, quite a lot of work required including new chainset, etc but they did this all the same day and it was ready to collect at 5pm. Staff very friendly and helpful and actually did some extra work on the bike at no extra charge (including replace spoke) as they'd noticed this needed done when they inspected the bike fully which was very unexpected and welcome. Highly recommended :-)

I really like bikecraft Edinburgh.. l brought them in an old bike and asked them to customise it to myself.. due to my hight and build.. this picture was is the final result, I'm absolutely over the moon with the quality of work done.. and how it looks.. the staff are friendly and professional, have great knowledge of bikes, and the needs of the customer, prices are spot on, and you could get a discount if you're willing to barter.. all in all, a great shop, great customer service, and easy to talk to staff.. thanks guys... 💯👍

Quite simply the best bike shop I've dealt with. Many business talk about excellent customer service, but these guys really do deliver it. They managed to get a new bike from Edinburgh to Bath despite some unexpected challenges....but rather than just tell me there was a problem they came with a superb solution. I can't recommend Chris, and his team (especially Toby and Samantha) enough!

I took my bike for a few upgrades and due to the covid pandemic they had some difficulty getting all the parts but they looked until they found everything and now my bike it's in excellent condition. I had a mystery squeak coming from my bike and had taken it to another bike shop (who shall rename nameless) to fix. They were stumped and gave up. Off I went to Bike Craft, and the guys did not let it beat them, and they found a spring in the front wheel that was the culprit! My bike rides (silently) like a dream now. Amazing service! The guys at Bike Craft are great. Really friendly and knowledgeable. I had an ongoing problem with my Di2's that two other bike shops hadn't been able to fix and James was great at figuring out what was the issue and conferring with Shimano until they solved the problem and got the parts needed. The service I received was fantastic and they kept me informed of everything they were doing. Their prices are very reasonable and I would highly recommend them if you are looking for anything from a simple bike service up to a more specialized technical issue.

I visited Bike Craft on Ferry Road last year for the first time to get my bike serviced having had the shop recommended by a friend. When I picked my bike up after the service I was pretty confident they'd replaced my bike with a brand new one - it was so shiny and ran like it did years ago when I first bought it. Every part had been cleaned and oiled to perfection, and the brakes and gears were really nice and tight. I was really impressed. Fast forward a year and I'm back, this time in the Ocean Terminal branch of Bike Craft buying a new bike. The service from the staff at both stores is first class. They listened to me as their customer about my riding style and what I'll be using it for and gave me sound advice. I settled on a Ridgeback Vanteo as the best bike to suit my needs. I'm just back from a quick spin round the block and it handles like a dream! It's faster than my mountain bike, pretty much rides silently, and feels really lightweight. They also gave me a great deal on it as I was trading in my old bike. If you need anything at all cycling-related in Edinburgh I can't recommend a better shop than Bike Craft. They've got a customer for life now!

Had a great experience purchasing a new bike from Bike Craft today. I did this through a cycle to work scheme which took longer than expected and the guys were happy to reserve my bike for as long as it took. When I picked the bike up they made some adjustments and explained everything I needed to know about my new bike, great service all round!

Highly recommend this bike shop. In buying a bike, I went to almost every bike shop in the city and these guys are by far the best. Honest, reasonable prices, knowledgable and friendly. I bought a second hand bike and there were a few things wrong with it, so I took it in to get the rear cassette and a few other bits changed as it was grinding gears when putting load on the pedals. Chris and his team did the work and there was still a bit of an issue, so they ordered a back wheel sorted it, no questions, really going above and beyond to solve the issue. My wife also bought a helmet from here and had some work done on her bike, all at reasonable prices and quality work.

I bought a new Scott e-bike from Evans, that was faulty. The chain kept falling off when I was riding the bike. I took it back to Evans who tried and failed to fix it. When I took it back to them they said that since being bought by Mike Ashley they had no contract with Scott anymore and refused to fix it, saying the problem must be related to a part under warranty. Luckily Bike Craft had a completely different approach. They were helpful, professional and most importantly fixed the bike for me. I won't go back to Evans ever again. I highly recommend Bike Craft.

Hand crafted sign on the outside, hand crafted care for your bike on the inside. Chris and the team did some great work replacing my headset after the Edinburgh cobbles made it looser than a.... Sound advice on choosing the Cane Creek 40 and good work, all for a fair price. They love to bike themselves as well, which is always nice. Good looking photos on the wall, and some great looking kids bikes in the window. Good to have a nice bike shop in the neighbourhood.
