Ben does amazing work in his on-site workshop. He also sells unique specialty bikes. It was great meeting and talking to him!

I've spent £20,000 on e-trikes with Ben over the last 5 years. The service and prices have been first class. I also notice some one star reviews so what people must understand, and Ben would more than likely agree, is that he is an engineer first and foremost. He can fix and build things others can't and is perhaps one of the best bike engineers in the country. His focus therefore often means the customer service side of things slide a little.
Therefore, if you want the best at great prices, be patient, be prepared to send the odd reminder and just accept it is what is is and the result will be very much worth waiting for.

I'd never dealt with Kinetics before but have recently purchased a Tout Terrain Single Trailer from them. The service from Ben has been nothing but 1st class. Emails have have been answered promptly and the replies we're all helpful. Ben even fabricated a part himself that he didn't have in stock (and it was so much better than the OEM part).
I would have no doubt in my mind about dealing with them again.

Ben is a metallurgical genius! He built me a customized Rohloff Brompton with disc brakes. UPS bashed my bike during shipping, and Ben had me send it back for him to repair.
The bike did take a few months longer than the estimated date, but that's the nature of anything handmade by skilled craftspeople. As busy as he is, Ben always responded to each e-mail.

Have purchased a custom Brompton from Ben and I'm very pleased with the results. He does take a bit of time to get the bikes built as he is a solo operator and also it appears, very busy. The wait is well worth it!! Very happy customer.

I’ve been a customer at Bens for a number of years now. Ben helped me enormously through the first pedal strokes of recumbent riding from where many adventures have been enjoyed. First class friendly service.

Had Ben Cooper build a Brompton with Rolhoff hub and disc brakes, simply a fantastic bike. Ben fabricated a custom rear triangle out of stainless steel and the craftsmanship is superb! Also purchased an 8 speed kit to up grade a three speed Brompton. Kit thoughtfully put together and hub and wheel are true... Ben's ability to engineer and fabricate special solutions for his customers is unique... old world service and ability that is becoming more rare...

I had Ben retrofit S&S couplings to our tandem. He did an excellent job, and got the frame resprayed locally exactly as asked for. Very pleased with the work.

Great place for the very specialist end of the cycle trade, frame repairs and strange things made. Always very busy so can be a bit slow. Not the place to go if you want something ordinary or dislike spending money. Ben loves interesting challenges.
The work is always excellent.

Bought a bike trailer that I'm really happy with. Service was great. Workshop full of wonderful creations and customisations. Will hopefully be back for more in future.
