Outstanding friendly, helpful and authentic service. This was the second time I had my bike serviced at the Glasgow branch. Both times the team in store were consistently informative, friendly, took time to understand what concerns I had and when I collected it, they took time to provide useful information on what repairs they made how to care for my bike. It was due to this excellent service I had the confidence to buy my new bike from them. I have not experienced a store recently that has delivered the same high level of service and care and pride for their product, service and customers - The only place to buy your next ebike!

Can't speak highly enough about the workshop at this shop, they have kept my battered trek tourer on the road this winter. They are exceptionally helpful, proactive and professional and have come to my rescue on countless occasions throughout the winter. I must have dealt with half a dozen guys in my times using the workshop and they all exhibit the same qualities, clearly a positive culture within the place. Have gone above and beyond several times, from hunting about the workshop for a spare saddle to squeezing in puncture repairs or brake tightening at last minute. I must admit, the e bikes and scooters are a bit out of my price range, but they look fantastic, so if you are in the market for one I would recommend going here on the basis that you will be in excellent hands should anything ever go wrong. Having owned a pure scooter now for about 8 months it had its first issue. After contacting the store I was delighted to find out the part was very well priced and a service to fit was offered Arriving at the store to find a clean fresh environment with friendly staff. They even dedicated themselves to finding the best screw (even if it took a few extra days) to get everything working perfectly. And they didn't charge me anything extra for it! Couldn’t recommend Pure Electric Glasgow highly enough. If you’re looking for a new e-scooter or bike, look no further. E-Scooters are great for getting about, but as with any transport you’re going to need repairs, parts, new tubes, new tyres etc. as time goes on. Walk into the shop or call up, ask the team and 9/10 times within minutes you’ll know what needs fixed, how long it’s going to take and when you’ll have your scooter back. Repairs are always done reliably and they’ll talk you through exactly what’s been done. You can’t say this for any other scooter brand on the UK market. You might get a cheap brand online, but you won’t get this service anywhere else, and good luck with repairs. For that reason alone it’s a no brainer. P.S. - buy the care plan, it’s well worth it.

Dropped in the other day needing some replacement saddle bolts for commute bike following a near painful disaster on my way to work. They had a dig about and found some bolts that would do the job. Very helpful and friendly. Bolts fitted fine and holding strong.

Bit late in my post, but had some problems with my Pure Air Pro Scooter, took it in December, problems were all squared up as well as going above and beyond in fixing a few other small issues with the scooter that I hadn’t mentioned about. Unfortunately a few weeks later a new error code appeared on the throttle control. Took it back in, Jarred phoned me up a few days later with the bad news that they couldn’t work out what the error code meant, so he asked if I would mind swapping my scooter for the model above mine for free, which I was more than happy to do. 2 months later so issues whatsoever. Couldn’t fault the professionalism of the staff and their actions in fixing my problems to a highly satisfactory outcome. Would definitely recommend.

Scooter wasn't working and took it into the Glasgow shop, Mark was very help full in letting me know what the issues could be, left it with them and was kept up to date on repair, customer service is excellent. Also good to see a company not trying to rip customers off on the price of spare parts, genuine charger was cheaper than a alternative from Amazon.

Talked me through the part I needed, how to fit it correctly and more info than I asked for. The new parts are now fitted and saved me a trip down to the branch as it was easy to do myself. Great service from Jarrod and team. I had a fault on my e bike and took my bike into the Glasgow shop. Jarrod quickly identified the fault and repaired the bike. I have previous experience of the Glasgow shop team and have always found them to be very friendly and efficient with good technical ability. I would highly recommend them.

After changing my mind on an electric scooter I ordered online I returned it to this Glasgow store and, I bought my first ebike a Brompton from Pure electric. The service at this store is fantastic, Jarred spent two hours with my wife and I looking at the Brompton. We were allowed to ride it around the shop and took it out for a wee ride before purchasing. I came here twice in the last week. The first time, I needed help finding a kickstand for my electric bike. They didn’t have the one I needed but they gave me the name of the the kickstand to order. The second time, I had already just been to two other bikes shops trying to get somewhere that had the right bolts and fit it for me. The other shop couldn’t fit it for me but Pure Electric fitted it in 5 minutes and didn’t charge me anything. Thank you for you help and amazing service!

I cannot recommend Pure Electric enough! I bought my Specialised turbo 4.0 SL EQ electric bike two days ago - and have now run out of battery and recharged (!). Connor (and the upcoming Rachel , a great conversation buddy in the times when Connor was making the last minute adjustments) was an assiduous, understanding and 'no pressure' seller. This place has taken over the premises from the now defunct Cycle Republic (ersatz Halfords?) and has only been going for around a year - so far. The whole atmosphere in the shop is relaxed. Test drives are availablle with absolutely no time pressure. I would advice on thorogh research before commiting though to any purchase. If I had the money I would certainly have gone for the 'pothole proof' 5.0 at an extra £1000 but this bike keep me (and the following cars) on my toes! I wish you all luck in these challenging times. A challenge to Dales cycles up the road (and much more easily assesible by pubiic transport!)

Amazing service! The bottom bracket of my new bike was coming loose, after visiting two other stores (one that i had bought the bike from and had built the bike) and refused to be seen or even given any advice on what it could be, i was getting more and more worried as the noise coming from my bike was getting progressively worse to the point that i felt I couldn’t put any more weight on it. I took my chance and visited pure electric, considering the time (the lockdown), the technicians took the bike and fixed the very serious issue of the bottom bracket being completely loose and gave some advice on future maintenance. Felt a lot more confident about putting all my weight on the the pedals as i climbed the hills away to home. Side note, they have an extensive range of electric bikes and a better understanding of them than other retailers. Considering the service I received and feeling assured about the knowledge they have around eBikes I’m far more inclined to go back to them with future issues or purchases.

Second time into the store; we had applied for the cyclescheme and had little idea where to start. The staff were excellent and very knowledgeable, not to mention patient. Bought 2 fab ebikes and a whole lot of accessories, thanks to the help and advice from Jarred, cracking lad. We had been to a few other providers and they simply didnt have clue and mostly said they had no stock, or didn't take the time to understand the brief, I needed a commuting bike which was light. Found one! And we had the chance to check out a few for size, fit. Dont go anywhere else. Go here, they will help.
