What a blast, 7 of us had the hard tail e-bikes. Great routes, a short distance from the hire shop. Bikes were ready and fully charged. Went up the hills as quick as we went down them, effortless and so easy to use. Thanks

Great location and routes to choose from, Harry was very knowledgeable and helpful. We rode E-bike HT, still had 4-5 bars of battery left at the end. We chose the route 'Lakes, Views and stop in Betws', great views! Cycled around Lake Crafnant, well worth it for views and interesting route. Good fast downhill sections on gravel.

Harry was super helpful in helping us setting up, deciding the right trail to embark and was very accommodating with our time schedule. Would recommend this to anyone visiting and want a great first time experience mountain biking. Some of the uphill routes I simply cannot imagine doing without the extra thrust from E bikes.

It is very easy to book a bike on the website. The shop is in an ideal location for every kind of trail. I wanted to try out an e-bike which I found amazing. Because going up steep hills is so much easier, I was able to ride much further. Harry was extremely helpful both on the phone beforehand and on the day. Definitely recommend booking a bike whether solo, group or family. You will have a great time.

Amazing! Best day of our honeymoon. We hired some more ebikes at our next location after enjoying it so much but have to say the comfort and power of the bikes from Snowdonia Bikes, as well as the beautiful location and trails round the area just made is so perfect and we will be back soon!

My wife & I rented a couple of e-bikes from Snowdonia Bikes in Llanrwst yesterday and did a route around Gwydyr Forest, visiting some lakes, up the mountains and downhill into Betws, where we had a great coffee and cakes at Alpine Tea & Coffee Room, by the train station. The booking online was seamless, Harry was very helpful when we called and he was great in person when we arrived. Explained to us how to get the most of our e-bikes, gave us our bikes, helmets, gloves and he even helped us plan our route on Komoot app and gave us suggestions on where to go, where not to go depending on weather conditions and where to stop for lunch. We even had the chance to play a bit with Otto, his playful Cocker Spaniel! We totally recommend doing a bike ride in any of the routes in Gwydyr Forest and using the e-bikes from Snowdonia Bikes in Llanrwst. The scenery is spectacular and the e-bikes are amazing on the climbs when you need the extra turbo kick to get up the mountains. We will come back!

What an amazing experience from start to finish! Would highly recommend! We downloaded the Komoot app which gave us a sat nav for our chosen route which Harry very kindly showed us how to use and gave us a phone holder to sit on the handle bar meaning we never missed a turning! Riding up hills was a doddle with the Ebikes and made the whole experience so relaxing! Never going on a normal bike again!

Really easy to use website for booking the bikes. There is plenty of parking on site and all bikes were ready on time, with good instructions on usage. Harry is extremely friendly and helpful and gave us useful advice on routes. We got a puncture on one of the bikes half way round, luckily spotted at a cafe stop, and Harry dealt with it really efficiently, coming out as soon as possible and swapping out the wheel. The cycling itself was great, on lovely tracks and small lanes through the forest with fab views of the mountains from certain places. The bikes were amazing, really easy and fun to ride and fantastic going up hill! Our top tip would be to take a small rucksack to carry water as the bikes themselves don't have a bottle holder. All in all we had a great time and would recommend Snowdonia Bikes to anyone wanting a fun family activity.

Booked for a three hour hire, and on arrival had full tuition on the controls by Harry, who gave us some ideas as to where we could go. We where out for about two and a half hours and had a great ride, the first time we had used E bikes and they brilliant on the hills. I would highly recommend Snowdonia Bikes and will definitely be be using them again, thanks Harry for the experience and the professional service.

Truly excellent service. The bikes are in first class condition and even though I've never ridden an ebike before there were no problems. My son and I hired the bikes to go exploring the forest fire trails and they were perfect for this, making light work of any of the hills we came across. In the end we were looking for hills to climb so we could have fun coming back down. The hire terms on the web site ask you not to take the bikes on any of the red routes and I think this is a fair request. I would definitely hire again from here.

Absolutely fantastic and easy going experience. Harry himself a very experienced cyclist and easy to talk to. On handover of bikes, brief on characteristics, opportunity to ride around park if you required, brief on actions on, then off you go. Harry more than happy to discuss suitable routes. The E MTB is great and more than suits your needs, no matter your level. The cost for what you get in my opinion is well up there. I took my wife on her first 5 hour ride around the trails of Betws and she loved the trails and the bike. On return, hand bikes back and good informal chat with Harry. Outstanding throughout and the owner, one of life’s genuine nice cycling guys.

Well equipped business. Bikes were ready for us when we went to collect. A quick brief on the does and don’ts. We were given local route information and sent on our way. Then spent 3 hours exploring the local area in the forest in case the weather turned. With a 16 year old in tow, we had a great experience and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Snowdonia Bikes

The bikes were in very good order and we were given plenty of information on the operation of the bikes and the and the area we were visiting. Excellent service, Harry could not have been more helpful, advising us about routes etc. It was our first time using Electric Mountain Bikes, they were excellent. Making climbs manageable and fun. We did a 16 mile route on the bikes, stopping off for lunch by Capel Curig. Would highly recommend!!

These guys are legends. I was on a long day ride from Loggerheads and my bike was suffering with a dry chain. After a lovely coffee at the café I saw the guys from the bike hire shop and asked if they had any spare chain lube. Not only did they immediately offer to supply some oil, one of them popped to his car to get a bottle of the specific wax dry-lube already on my chain. after 35 miles of a squeaky chain, I'd have been happy with any old engine oil! Its freely given help like this that restores faith in genuine kind-heartedness. I resumed my ride with no further chain squeak troubles and had a great day on my bike. Thanks gents!
