Best bike shop in the west end. This is a real local bike shop with fast repairs and really good prices. There are others around but I rate this shop as the best. I take both my road and commuter bike to him and the repairs are great, done quickly, right 1st time and always at a good price. I would not hesitate sending anyone here.

Great service every time I go there - whether to get my pedal replaced after a crash, new wheel when my freewheel broke, to pick up a few nuts n bolts (no charge!) or just to get a new inner tube when I got a puncture. Westend cycles always seem to be the nearest bike shop that's open when my bike develops a fault! Service is quick, friendly and well priced.

The person I met is a gentleman. The starting price to couple my new bike together was £25 and could increase depending on how difficult the job is. I wasn't there when it was done and he could have told me it's going to cost more than £25 and I'd be obliged to pay. But, he didn't. That's integrity. And he did a great job. I'll trust him with my bicycle.

I have used West End Cycles twice since moving to Glasgow. Both times I have received a fantastic service! Friendly, quick, great value for money and with quality work done. For anyone living in or near the West End I would certainly recommend this shop.

If it were possible to give more than 5 stars, I would. I didn't buy anything here, just stopped to check out the shop, and chat. Very, very friendly, helpful. I spent time talking with the guy (I'm horrible with names), and asked for a lunch recommendation. The recommendation was excellent. Folks in Edinburgh told me about this shop, and that if I ever needed anything, to stop in as they are always very helpful. They were indeed.

Cannot say enough about the tip top service here and the impartial advice. George, the proprietor, is a very friendly and upfront bloke who has forgotten more about bikes that I have ever known. The place to go if for sales and service.
