Wow I’m so impressed, I went in for a large tent 6-8 man. Stepped inside the BGH 4xL MBL and it was the perfect tent. I need something that can withstand the gales on Shell Island and that will do nicely. The staff were so helpful and a pleasure to do business with Go outdoors

After asking for help in finding something and showing a picture of the item I wanted to a male member of staff with reddish hair. Didn’t help at all was rude and said I don’t know he could of at least helped me find what I was looking for. then finally got help from a young lady which I’ve been helped before when shopping at your store she is a credit to you and goes out her way. Unlike the lazy red hair man. I would give the the young lady 5star but need to have a serious Conversation with this man he’s not A good example

Absolutely brilliant soon as I walked in on my crutches the staff helped me out to where I needed to go for the clothes I wanted, the place is huge and try the clothes on in the changing rooms, brilliant recomend it to everyone 👌👍

Warehouse that will have products supplying most of your outdoor needs. I do however find the discount card scheme to be rather suspicious and suspect that they are monetising your data. Just make up an email address for the card as a hard copy is given there and then in store. With the discount, the prices are compatible with other similar retailers (go outdoors is actually part of a group that holds most of the market for outdoor pursuits)

Helpful staff but definitely try to overencumber you with things you don't need. For example: You don't need a carribeener to mount a sleeping bag 😳 A bit cheeky to try and push it on me... but anyway, great chain and I got what I needed. Tip: Check ALL of the bargain bins, sometimes there is some real gold hidden inbetween the sales :D

I wouldn't come here for expert advice or amazing customer service, but the staff have been friendly and I had no problems getting a refund under warranty for a faulty bike pump. The whole 'discount card' thing is a minor irritant, but it's easy enough to get one for free.

Great selection of clothes and equipment for the great outdoors. A selection of tents and camping equipment set up on the first floor with a lift available if you need it. Don't forget to buy your £5 discount card at the till to save money.

No queue to enter the store, with hand sanitizer near the door, the clothing was well stocked but unfortunately didn't have the size of trousers I wanted, there were quite a few of the camping accessories that were out of stock so may have to try online but I did manage to get a 20L solar shower and a camp bed which had a price if £10 but was charged at £12:50 after discount but I didn't notice that untill I got home and checked the receipt one other thing to bear in mind is if you have the old style blue discount card you will be asked to renew it for the new one for £5.00.

It's great to see Go Outdoors back open of course, however, in their biking section, it's very limited at the moment, the selection of accessories is very sparse, hardly anything on the racks, only 3 bikes on display, if you are planning on going there for bike things, I would say to save yourself a journey and shop online.

Went in yesterday for waterproof spray. Surprised to find that they stock fishing tackle. Useful variety of carp hook baits, ground bait, and small accessories hooks floats etc. Some good named products and other non mainstream varieties. The young guy located the waterproof spray for me and asked if I needed assistance with fishing tackle. I will certainly return on a regular basis for the fishing accessories.

Extensive range of outdoor clothing, rucksacks and camping equipment with some fishing gear and moutain bikes at competitive prices (though you'll need to pay the modest fee of £5 per annum for a discount card). Some gaps on the shelves for more specialist items, particularly climbing equipment. Quite a good place to browse as you'll almost certainly find something which will come in very handy, if not necessarily immediately. Staff friendly and helpful.

I like to go and have a look round every month or so and I've spent quite a lot of money there. But it seems that the selection of small bitty camping accessories is reducing all the time. Camping shops used to carry a great selection of useful parts but I couldn't get a part for an expensive tent I bought last year (a bayonet fit adapter for my Vango Airbeam tent pump) and Go Outdoors won't get me one. I was advised to use the Vango website and told I'd probably have to buy a complete new pump just to get it. My other Vango Airbeam tent has a push in adapter so getting an emergency spare for that is easy.

Go outdoors is in the old premises of Outdoor world aka Outdoor megastore but unlike the old occupants the prices are actually quite competitive and almost genuine. One thing that should be scrapped though is the ridiculous discount card rip off scam they try and charge for, its just a pathetic scheme to make extra money. I still prefer Towsure for this kind of shopping but unfortunately they don't have a shop in Liverpool.
