Brilliant service! George was super helpful and all the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help me with my bike. ALSO - there was a VERY CUTE FRIENDLY DOG there in a dinosaur outfit. Her name is Cleo and I love her. Will definitely be going back for all our bike needs and to see the dog. 10/10 thanks George and Cleo and everyone at Bike Shack!

Recently, I was on my bike when my saddle started to move up and down. I felt very lucky and happy after young gentlemen from this bike shop grabbed the tool and quickly fixed the saddle and regulated the high of it for me. Excellent service and once again, thank you!

I cannot recommend this shop enough! I now recommend it to my friends and family. Everyone I spoke to was polite, professional and friendly. They also limit the amount of people allowed in the shop at one time to ensure social distancing can be adhered to and to reduce busyness which I appreciated. I turned up at the shop very flustered on Wednesday and the gentlemen I spoke to put my mind at ease and told me they'd have it fixed by Friday. They were understanding when I explained I was a student and couldn’t afford a 'big fix' and advised me they would ring and let me know the cost if it turned out to be a lot. I picked up my bike the following Monday and was greeted warmly by the staff and whom insisted on giving my bike a final check before l set off. My bike is now in pristine condition and I'm very pleased. :) I will definitely return here for all my bike needs. Thanks again guys!

Nice guys who helped with some mechanical stuff on my front wheel. They also make sure that you’re not spending unnecessarily which I appreciated. This place always has a queue but I can see why as they are literally the nicest bike shop I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot. My tyre had totally punctured beyond repair. Despite being extremely busy they were able to replace the tyre there and then meaning I could get on with my errands that day on my bike. I only waited a short time but all the lads said thanks for waiting. So polite. Really efficient service and I’m booking the bike in for a total overhaul there now too. Independent local Leyton business that I’d definitely recommend. Don’t be put off by the queue it’s worth the wait.

I cycle past this shop regularly and it seems to always be flat out busy at the moment with queues down the street. The guys seem to be working long hours. They’re giving discounts for NHS and trying to accommodate everyone. Today I used them for the first time and the guys are so pleasant, patient and helpful even though they are obviously under pressure. Parts prices seem very reasonable and the guy definitely sold me what I needed as oppose to trying to up sell. I will be going out of my way to use them in future. Keep up the good work chaps and thank you for a positive experience.

I got everything I was looking for at the bike shack. Tyrell priced the different options for me after listening to my concerns. Gave me a decent quote, fixed the bike on time and I was delighted with the service. They seem to deal with a wide range of bikes, both higher end and domestic. My husband has lived in the neighbourhood for years so we've been here for a quite few bits and pieces on our bikes (new tires, new forks and most recently a new gear cable and adjustment), but this is the first review we're writing. Excellent service. These guys are very knowledgable and are happy to give advice, even if they don't make a sale on it. Always a quick turnaround too. Very polite and friendly. Typically I'd left my brake servicing to the last minute and needed to get it sorted before an event this Sunday. I called them Monday and got a slot to drop off and pick up at 12.30 and 3.30. Bike was ready to go with newly bled brakes, waxed chain and excellent response. The fact that I can now trust the bike to brake responsibly means I can go at it harder! They even bed the brakes in for me today as I wasn't 100% sure if done it right. Will be using again, just wished they'd open a little earlier so I can drop off before work.

Had problems on the way to work. Front wheel fell off. Carried the shambles to the bike shack and despite them being chocka busy down there, one of the gents replaced my front wheel easy release screw. I asked for the receipt but he insisted I be on my merry way with no charge. To protect his identity, I can't reveal his real name... but we can refer to him as LEGEND. Thank you.

Would definitely recommend. I brought my road bike in to Bike Shack for a full service after years of being in a shed and neglected. It now works perfectly. So smooth and quiet. Went in for some components upgrades not knowing what i needed nor having a clue about price, brands etc.. the guys were over helpful with pointing me in the right direction.. didnt push for the high end expensive parts but i liked the look of them so bought them and had the guys fit them for me to a high standard...i have had some repairs and maintenance done here in the past and would highly recommend this shop.. great staff and pricing is on point aswell. Upon arriving I was greeted and I explained what I wanted. (a new bike) The man serving me listened to me and suggested the best bikes he thought suited me. He let me try a whole range of different bikes and was happy for me to test them out to make sure I had what I wanted. Brilliant customer service with honest staff who know what they're talking about. I admit that I know next to nothing about bikes and went in to the bike shack to buy a pump and Valve attachment to pump up my bike tyre. They explained that I just needed a small valve attachment which would fit an existing pump I had and did not need to buy anything else. The valve was a £1 and because I only had a debit card on me and no cash, they gave me it for free. Can't fault them. Will definitely return for anything bike related. Thanks.

Friendly service and a quick turnaround. OK so they didn't spot a problem straight away that needed fixing - but I've no complaints. When they did realise my bearings needed re-packing, they did it for half price and turned it around in three hours.

As avid cyclists, we're very happy with this friendly, neighbourhood cycle repair shop! The guys are knowledgeable, honest, helpful, skilled and professional, and boast some of the lowest service prices in London. As an example, my girlfriend had her brake pads replaced, mudguard repaired and a new pannier rack supplied and fitted (very well), all for under £50. The bike was ready for collection the following evening, as promised. There's a very friendly vibe in the shop, and lots of local cyclists stop in just to pass the time, pump their tyres, and ask questions of the staff. Highly recommended.

These guys bought my stolen bike in a police auction and then, instead of selling it for 4x more than what they bought it for, found me online, contacted me about the fact they had my bike and let me come in and just reimburse them for what they paid the police. They fixed my chain and sorted a few bits out on it (they were going to clean it up properly but I was really quick to get to them). This bike is like my child and it was stolen from my flat over 2 years ago so I was absolutely gobsmacked to see it again. You should not hesitate to trust these guys with your bike!

Oh my l just walked into Bike Shack with a broken seat clamp and little did the shop assistant know l had limited funds. I received a warm welcome and he said hold on a minute went to the back and put a second hand piece to replace the broken part......all for nothing. I'm good to go. This is now one of the only local bike shops in the area. I came here because I got a flat tyre whilst out with my family on the weekend having a bike ride. They were very helful and fixed my tyre in no time so that I could go back to enjoying my day out. I even got a discount where I only paid for the new tyre and not for the work because they saw how upset I was! ahaha I have no idea about bikes and I thought that i was broken :(

A nice small shop with enough spares to keep you happy, but after buying two inner tubes I was not allowed to replace the inner tube in store, and had to do it outside in the cold. No fault of the guys as I was told not their rules but not what you expect from an lbs (local bike store).

Went there today to replace a stolen front wheel. Guys have charged me only for the inner tube and wheel, second hand tire came free. Didn't charge me for fitting it all in the store, which was really nice of them. Overall, I've paid literally half of what I paid in a similar 'lbs' in South London. Worth a walk.

There are two bike shacks one close to bakers arms and one close to Leyton station. I went to Leyton station for new handle bars on a Saturday and was given a estimate of £200 I waited a few days as they said they would call and did not and was given the price of £320 then was offered cheaper with second hand parts £250 I waited a few more days and calledo no work hadone been done or even started I took my bike and went looking and stumbled on to Bakers arms bike shop Marlone and his co worker are wonderful bike guy's and people straight away they started to try and find parts for me I told them my budget was £250 they said they would try and beat iT and they did £240 after a few days they were already ordering parts and asking for a deposit he even dropped my bike to my flat Bakers arms I would give a 5/5 but I can't find them online amazing effort rough round the edges brilliant on the inside 2 dudes who want to help you Leyton station 2/5 I know you can get busy but one guy kept telling me "I will call you tomorrow" or "it will be ready tomorrow" and never did Don't lie in my face just say a week or two and I can plan for that I can't plan for a lie The price was another thing because two different people gave me such different prices I can only imagine why I was a long time customer and they charged me 260 for 2 wheels and now I'm questioning even that I don't know they are cool guys but business is business I guess and if you upset customers you get crappie reviews I'm sorry but get better or a second mechanic

I have been there couple of time and i have to say that with the old management they where up and down but now i have to say the staff is very helpful and friendly and the price are onest for the service you get you also can pump your tyre for free because the have an outside pump free to use while i remember with the old management you use to get charged 50 p :-( i have been there to replace my rear mtb shimano derailleur and they did the job very well so far the price was 10 quid wich a think is a good price too to be charged i will rely on them in the future to fix my bike thank's a lot guys keep going this way :-) greetings by Rosario
