Y. M.First class service as per usual, the best price around for the work done. I took bespoke e-bike and Mark was able to sort out the gears and replace a spoke in no time at all. There's no booking in service- you just have to rock up and leave your bike, they estimated 7 days but I got it back on 3rd working day. Thanks Ladywell Cycles!

D. H.Broke a spoke so took my bike in and while they were at it decided to get an all round service for the bike. Was very happy with the job and advice given. They have your best interests at heart rather than always recommending the most expensive option. A week later another spoke broke and again took it in for their advice. Decided to fix the spoke rather than replace the wheel on their advice and they did this free of charge on the same day. Service a million times better than Evans, halfords etc who I have used in the past. Glad to support a local independent business!

Took my bike in to Ladywell Village Cycles and left it with them. The effort that they put in to finding a replacement fork, the minor adjustments they had to make for everything to come together, well I can't thank them enough. So happy to find a proper cycle shop where they are more interested in getting a bike back on the road than today's standard of it's too hard, get a new one. Now it's like I'm riding a new bike. A. N.This shop is real local gem, discovered them accidentally when my rear wheel failed on me on my way into work. Mark managed to have me back on the road in less than an hour! I've been coming back ever since; the teams service and knowledge are second to none. They take the time to honestly talk you through your options and treat your bike with real care and attention - doesn't matter if you're bringing in a Pinarello Dogma or a Froggie bike! Their prices are incredibly reasonable and it's clear they're not trying to rip anyone off. I really appreciate the fact they always try and get you back on the road as quickly as possible - thanks guys!

c. 7.The BEST PLACE. I had a full MOT of my vintage bike and a puncture sorted. Like all these other reviewers, I feel incredibly lucky to have such a great bike shop on my doorstep. My bike was ready way faster than I thought it would be, really reasonably priced too. Mark talked me through what he had done, what to look out for in the future, it was such a straightforward experience, it was brilliant. I wish more places were like this. It's really refreshing to deal with someone who isn't patronising, understands how you see your bike, how much you want to do to it and what you use it for etc. Don't bother going anywhere else.

Special mention goes to Archie who did an absolutely first class job on my Mongoose Comp X yesterday. He carried out the repairs to an excellent standard and also cleaned the bike thoroughly. I wasn't expecting it would be washed, so that was a really nice touch - thank you.
When Archie brought the bike out to me, it looked like new. He explained to me all that he had done, and gave details on things I should look out for in the future. Zero sales pressure, just straightforward and honest service. He clearly knows his stuff cares about what he does.

A. A.This was my first time getting a relatively expensive bike serviced and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. A small shop overflowing with bikes and components, you can really tell that bikes are their passion as well as their profession. I left my Giant Contend SL1 with the guys late one day for them to check over and service. Called up to check progress and was walked through what was being done and after a few days received a text to say my bike was ready to collect. After collecting I was worried that they hadn't completely sorted the bike as there was a slight grinding noise still present. After a call to the shop I was helpfully advised that this was chain rub which could be easy resolved by using the trim shift function which I had never heard of. The bike now feels amazing and back to its brand new state. Thanks again for the advice, excellent service and reasonable pricing.

The staff are very friendly and so helpful. I ordered my bicycle online but couldn't get it set up anywhere. In here it took only few days to get it assembled. I was also advised how to use the lights and pump I have bought, how to look after my bike and when to get it checked.

I wanted a new bike because I have been riding my dad's bike, which is too big and heavy for me, however I wasn't sure what bike would suit me best. After speaking to Mark, he had a lighter bike in mind for me. He brought it into the shop especially and let me borrow the bike so I could test it out for myself and check that I was happy with it. The bike is a Women's Boardman Racing Bike. It has drop handlebars, which I was new to so Mike said he would be happy to change them to flat handlebars if I preferred. Mike also offered to put mud guards and a rack on the bike as I was going to be using it as a city bike. After trying the bike out, I really liked the drop handlebars so decided to keep them and also that I didn't need a rack or mudguards just yet. I am going to university in September so Mark said I could get a rack fitted for no extra cost before I go. Mark gave me a great deal on the bike. As I'm still getting used to the gears, I was having trouble shifting between them so I took my bike to Ladywell Village Cycles and even though Mark was very busy, he came and showed me how to shift them. I'm so lucky to have this bike shop as my local shop but in my opinion it's well worth travelling to as well! Thank you for my bike-I absolutely love it! 😊

S. L.I pulled my bike out of my shed which had been sitting around unused for 5 years. Both tyres where flat and the back wheel had multiple spokes snapped, due to years worth of storage sitting on the bike. The wheels would hardly move when the bike was pushed and all the gears and the chain was seized. I was considering buying a new bike as the cost of repairs would be massive, as i was told by multiple cycle shops in my area (Wimbledon), starting with a new back wheel which was £210. Due to the long lead times on new bikes, i decided to bring my bike to Ladywell Village Cycles, as I was recommend to this Cycle repair shop from a trusted friend. Within 5 minutes of calling the store i was filled with confidence and had an appointment booked to bring my bike in. Withing 2 days my bike was ready and to my surprise it was all fixed!! Including the spokes on my back wheel, rather than fitting a new wheel they had replaced the broken spokes. The bike was fully serviced and it was even cleaned which i did not expect. I test rode the bike and it felt like a brand new bike. Excellent service and worth every penny. Will be using there service from now on despite the fact i live 10 miles away.

P. K.I have a touring bike that I have serviced here regularly. The results of the services are impeccable. Mark, the owner, once had to apply some innovative adjustments to accommodate the modular bags onto the bike rack. The result was exceptional and my tour of Israel and the middle East went without any hiccups as far as the bike is concerned.

Cuando viajas con la bicicleta en el avión puede pasar de todo. En efecto, abro la bolsa y un desastre. Menos mal que justo al lado de donde me hospedaba estaba este fenomenal equipo de profesionales. En un día consiguieron las piezas rotas y ¡repararon las que se podían salvar! para que la factura no subiera.
