I very rarely leave reviews but LBC have been so good at looking after my bike and keeping me on the road, I felt compelled. Danny always does a great job and explains everything clearly so you know exactly what you're paying for. Cycling has been my chosen mode of transport for getting around London for over 5 years now. I've experienced a good few bike shops in that time and while LBC is not the cheapest, you certainly get what you pay for. I always feel like I'm riding away a new bike when I pick it up. No hesitation in recommending their services.

I don’t usually leave reviews but LBC deserves it all. I have been going to LBC for a a year now and I am always impressed by their professionalism, knowledge, and kindness. They are super friendly and offer excellent services for a fair price. Every time I had an issue with my bike or just needed it to be serviced this was always solved or done very quickly, sometimes within minutes of me coming to the shop. It’s also always nice to stop and have a chat with them. I highly recommend this place to anyone and I would definitely say that this is the best bike shop/repair shop in London!

Limehouse Bicycle Company are super helpful. Really good advice, friendly patient mechanics and they know their stuff! I called ahead and the person I spoke to was really nice, discussing the repair I need, and said if I brought my bike in straight away they could take a look at it. Nick immediately spotted my bike actually needs a new back wheel rim, and I am very grateful he spotted a problem that could have got so much worse over time. The info & estimate they gave me for a wheel rebuild & service is great & I will definitely be back! They also very kindly offered advice and a few freebie bolts for a pannier rack I’m fitting myself. Great to find a super local bike shop in my new neighbourhood :)

Such lovely staff and level of care! Would definitely use again. Someone reversed into my bike and damaged my wheel, luckily just 5 mins walk from these guys. Danny took care to try and straighten my wheel out, then replace it when this wasn't possible and stayed after closing time to make sure he got me back on the road. Had an issue with shifting between my chain rings and took my bike to the Limehouse Bicycle Company to fix what I thought might be an issue with my front derailleur. Turned out to be an issue with my rear dropout and fixed in a matter of 10 minutes with no charge at all. I was ready to pay and gladly would have done - I use my bike to commute everywhere so getting it fixed in no time at all was a real relief and has saved me a lot of time and anxiety. Fantastic place, cannot recommend enough. Extremely helpful and knowledgable staff, who walk you through issues constructively (and certainly don't talk down at you unlike some places). Took multiple bikes in and they were extremely honest and upfront with the individual issues and how they do small fixes. If you need any sort of touching up on your bike then this is the place! I highly recommend this shop if you are local in east London. They are professional, providing quick services, and polite. A guy quickly fixed my rear hub which was troublesome for a couple weeks I had no idea what was wrong in just a few mins. On more advantage, you won't need to wait for long like you do in other big shop. I used to go to Evans where I bought my bike but what I did not like was; we need to book a slot first and we cannot much see or talk while they are checking or fixing.

Danny and Nick at Limehouse Bicycle Company are the absolute best. I had a minor accident on my relatively new bike that knocked the brakes out of alignment and I messaged them to see if they could look at it and they very kindly fitted me in. Danny checked everything over, fixed the issues from the accident and even made improvements to the way I had my bike set up. It really made me feel so much better after the unpleasantness of the accident and I was able to get back on my bike right away. This will be my go-to bike service from now on!! Needed help with my gear indexing. These guys helped me on the spot, did the indexing for me as well as adjust my front derailleur which was misaligned - and they didn't even charge me for it! Where do I even start, coming in to the summer I wanted a full service all the bells and whistles. The combined knowledge of everyone in the shop was phenomenal and they knew how to explain what was wrong even to someone who is not to savvy with the "technical terms". They sourced parts I needed that I could not even do myself and have been at the other end of the phone when I had a problem with an outstandingly fast turn around time. Couldn't recommend them more! I wandered in, no appointment, no notice, with a broken mudguard hoping it could be reattached. Nick kindly humoured me with the twisted metal parts I handed over before a reality check that I needed a new set. "It'll be done within the day," he said, "it's a bit busy". Three hours later it was ready for pickup. "Your brakes were in need of attention, I've sorted the gears and the headset, and put air in the tyres," said Nick as he refused to take any more money for the extra work. "It should ride a lot nicer now, " he said. He was not wrong!

Ive had my gear skipping issues since i got my tyres changed from Evans cycle and they completely messed up my gears and couldn't fix it. I saw an ad for this shop on our local Facebook page and thought why not give it a try. Went in, staff had a look. Did gear servicing, including break callipers etc. Not gonna lie they fixed it. Which 3 other cycle shops couldn't do. Happy with the service. Although just keep in mind. They are a bit above average price but well worth it

Whether you need a service (without a 2 week wait list), help solving a problem or to simply ask a question if you are new to cycling and unsure - i can not recommend this shop enough. Lovely staff (shout out to Nick), very welcoming, more than willing help, clear communication, very quick and more than reasonable prices for London. I might be wrong but they also appear to be an independent business, and having opened during in the pandemic I can only re-iterate my recommendation, especially over and above the likes of Halfords, NipNip etc. Always nice to shop local and support small business :-)

Great guys, honestly... life savers!!! Pedal arm fell off an e-bike mid ride. Accidentally stumbled across Limehouse Bicycle Company whilst walking my wounded bike to the closest train station.
